In reliability modelling theory, failure rate functions and mean residual life functions have been basic tools to study the performance of any system or equipment. This paper presents a TTT transformation method to study the trend change of lognormal distributions. This result may extend to any nonmonotonic lifetime class distributions.

In this paper, we review the domestic reliability standards and its global counterparts IEC/TC 56 international reliability standards. Recently private transfers of reliability certification control tower has established in Korea. Some check points to consider regarding the control tower transfer process to the non-government organization are suggested. Also the IEC/TC 56 and its relevant reliability standards are introduced. Understanding of the IEC/TC56 system will be helpful for the time of non-government organization control tower transfer in the reliability certificate specification

In general, a software fault detection phenonenon is described by a software reliability model based on a nonhomogeneous Poisson process(NHPP). In this paper, we propose a software reliability growth model considering the differences of the software environments in both the testing phase and the operational phase. Also, we consider the problem of determining the optimal release time and the optimal warranty period that minimize the total expected software cost which takes account of periodic software maintenance(e.g. patch, update, etc). Finally, we analyze the sensitivity of the optimal release time and warranty period based on the fault data observed in the actual testing process.

비동질적 포아송과정(NHPP) 모형은 신뢰성 공학에서 소프트웨어 내에 남아있는 결함발견현상을 설명하는데 자주 사용된다. 이때 결함발견율은 연속적이며 단조함수를 가정하였으나 현실적으로 소프트웨어 시험환경, 전략 및 자원할당 등으로 인해 결함발견율이 변하는 경우가 있다. 본 논문은 결함발견율이 변화하는 변화점 문제를 고려한 소프트웨어 신뢰도 성장모형(SRGM)을 고려하여 모수를 추정하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 자료를 모의 생성한 후 평균값 함수의 각 모수를 최우추정법과 최소제곱법을 이용하여 추정하며, 결함발견구간이 일정하게 증가하는 경우와 일정하게 증가하지 않는 경우를 각각 고려한다. 이때 각 모수의 적합도 비교 평가를 통하여 변화점을 고려한 SRGM에서의 최적 추정법을 수치적 방법으로 판단한다. The non-homogeneous Poisson process(NHPP) based software reliability growth models are proved quite successful in practical software reliability engineering. The fault detection rate is usually assumed to be the continuous and monotonic function. However, the fault detection rate can be affected by many factors such as the testing strategy, running environment and resource allocation. This paper describes a parameter estimation of software reliability growth model with change-point problem. We obtain the maximum likelihood estimate(MLE) and least square estimate(LSE), and compare goodness-of-fit.
Estimator of the Mean Residual Life for Some Parametric Families

본 논문에서는 평균 잔여수명의 추정에 있어서 Weibull과 gamma분포의 평균 잔여 수명을 구하는데 적분이 쉽게 되지 않으므로 부분적률에 근거한 새로운 추정량을 제시하였으며, 비록 니 추정량은 일치추정량이 아니지만 소표본인 경우에서 일치추정량인 기존의 경험적 추정량 보다 평균제곱오차가 작다는 것을 몬테 칼로 기법을 써서 보였다. In this paper we consider a new estimator of mean residual life(MRL), based on the partial moment of the distribution. The parameters of a partial moment are estimated by its maximum likelihood estimators when the underlying distribution is known. Though the new estimator is not a consistent estimator of the MRL,it is shown to have smaller mean squared error than the well known empirical MRL estimator for certain parametric families. Numerical summaries of the mean squared errors of the new estimator are presented.

This paper presents a study of an availability evaluation for I&C(Instrumentation and Control) System which it applied for nuclear power plant. The system availability assessment have been implemented to the reactor protection system by the adoption of Markov process. Results are satisfied to the requirement of EPRI and APR1400. Based on the research of I&C system assessment, it will contribute to improve the availability of system and impact the design concept with new design optimization.
