Javaheri Atena,Sedghi Shaban,Hyun Ho Geun 경남대학교 기초과학연구소 2019 Nonlinear Functional Analysis and Applications Vol.24 No.2
In this paper, we present some definitions of S-metric spaces and prove a common fixed point theorem for two mappings under the condition of weakly compatible mappings in complete S-metric spaces. Also we improved some fixed point theorems in complete S-metric spaces.
Interleaved DC–DC Converter with High-voltage Gain and High-efficiency for Photovoltaic System
Javaheri Fard Hamed,Sadeghzadeh Seyed Mohammad 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.5
A high voltage gain DC–DC converter used in Photovoltaic system applications is proposed in this paper. The proposed topology can convert the low voltage of a Photovoltaic system into an increasing voltage and in fact, provide a high voltage gain. For this purpose, a combination of the structure of the coupled inductors and a voltage multiplier cell is used. Voltage gain boosting occurs while no extreme duty cycle or high turns ratio is imposed on the system. Due to the use of interleaved structure and equal current division in two phases, the current ripple is reduced. Also, since the voltage stress of the switches is lower than the output voltage, by selecting the low-voltage rated switches and small R ds (On), consequently the conduction loss is reduced. Other advantages of the converter include the soft-switching conditions for the power switches and alleviating the problem of reverse recovery. Recycling of the leakage energy due to the presence of the coupled inductors and no need for the clamp circuits is an important feature of this converter. With a series of physical changes in the structural material of the converter, such as the core and the type of wire used in the inductors and how to twist on the core, the losses were reduced and the effi ciency was increased. A 350 W, 22 V/400 V prototype was built and implemented to verify the performance of the proposed converter. Experimental results indicate the desired operation of the structure.

Atena Javaheri,Shaban Sedghi,Ho Geun Hyun 경남대학교 기초과학연구소 2020 Nonlinear Functional Analysis and Applications Vol.25 No.2
In this paper, we introduce the new concept of Ω-distance on an S-metric space and prove a xed point theorem for a self-map. This is a generalization of well-known resultswhich are proved by Guran [7].

Modeling and fuzzy control of the engine coolant conditioning system in an IC engine test bed
Seyed Saeid Mohtasebi,Farzad A. Shirazi,Ahmad Javaheri,Ghodrat Hamze Nava 대한기계학회 2010 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.24 No.11
Mechanical and thermodynamical performance of internal combustion engines is significantly affected by the engine working temperature. In an engine test bed, the internal combustion engines are tested in different operating conditions using a dynamometer. It is required that the engine temperature be controlled precisely, particularly in transient states. This precise control can be achieved by an engine coolant conditioning system mainly consisting of a heat exchanger, a control valve, and a controller. In this study, constitutive equations of the system are derived first. These differential equations show the second- order nonlinear time-varying dynamics of the system. The model is validated with the experimental data providing satisfactory results. After presenting the dynamic equations of the system, a fuzzy controller is designed based on our prior knowledge of the system. The fuzzy rules and the membership functions are derived by a trial and error and heuristic method. Because of the nonlinear nature of the system the fuzzy rules are set to satisfy the requirements of the temperature control for different operating conditions of the engine. The performance of the fuzzy controller is compared with a PI one for different transient conditions. The results of the simulation show the better performance of the fuzzy controller. The main advantages of the fuzzy controller are the shorter settling time, smaller overshoot, and improved performance especially in the transient states of the system.
Promyelocytic Leukemia (PML) Gene Mutations may not Contribute to Gastric Adenocarcinoma Development
Imani-Saber, Zeinab,Yousefi-Razin, Ehsan,Javaheri, Mona,Mirfakhraie, Reza,Motalleb, Gholamreza,Ghafouri-Fard, Soudeh Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2015 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.16 No.8
Gastric cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death worldwide. Environmental as well as genetic factors have been shown to be involved in its genesis. Among genetic factors, loss of function of a tumor suppressive gene named promyelocytic leukemia (PML) has been demonstrated in gastric cancer. In order to cast light in the mechanism by which PML protein is under-expressed in gastric cancer cells, we analyzed all exons and intron-exon boundaries of PML gene in 50 formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue blocks from gastric carcinoma tumors by means of PCR-SSCP and CSGE, with direct sequencing of abnormally shifted bands. We found a novel sequence variant of unknown significance localized in intron 5 in 3 samples (c.1398+84delA). We did not detect any deleterious mutations of the PML gene. This study shows that PML mutations may not contribute to gastric adenocarcinoma development. Post-translational modifications or protein degradation might be mechanisms by which PML is not expressed in gastric tumors.

Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) hydrogel as a temperatureresponsive polymer was prepared through controlled process using reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization. The hydrogel was then amino modified using a biocompatible polyamine i.e. spermine and next the antitumor cisplatin drug was conjugated to the modified hydrogel via pH-sensitive spermine linkage. This system had a pH dependency and temperature sensitivity at lower critical solution temperature (LCST). Cisplatin potentially is liberated from the carrier in the acidic environment. However, the release of cisplatin from this polymeric system is increased considerably around the transition temperature of the polymer. The drug release manner of the prepared hydrogel was determined at two pH values (5.5 and 7.4) and three temperatures (37, 40 and 42℃) at different time intervals. The in vitro toxicity assessment was conducted on MCF-7 cell line which showed the system efficiency in killing breast cancer cells.
