Chronic neutrophilic leukemia is a very rare myeloproliferative disorder which is characterized by severe sustained mature neutrophilic leukocytosis in peripheral blood (PB), hepatosplenomegaly, elevated leukocyte alkaline phosphatase, serum uric acid. serun viatmin B 12 and the bleeding tendency despite normal platelet count and coagulation time, absence of philadelphia chromosome, and the absence of fever or underlying infection or disease sufficient to mimic a leukemoid reaction. We have experienced a 34-years-old male patient with atypical chronic neutrophilic leukemia. On admission, the leukocyte count was 56,860/uL. severe neutrophic leukocytosis with 76% neutrophils and rare immature forms on PB smear. Many neutrophils had toxic granules, and vacuoloes. Leukocyte alkaline phosphatase score was decreased. The cytogenetic study showed Philadelphia chromosome negative with normal karyotype.

Bisphenol A used to the production of epoxy resins and polycarbonate plsastics. This study was carried out investigate the effects of bisphenol A treatment on during lactation period of the F1 and dams. Sprague-Dawley female rat of 10 weeks old were used. The dose level were control, low (2 ㎍/㎏), medium (200㎍/㎏), middle high (2,000㎍/㎏), high (20,000㎍/㎏). The rats were mated with male rats on a 2:1 ratio basis. Repeated doses of bisphenol A were treatment on female rats for 21 days after parturiton. Dams adn offsprings were sacrificed after lactation period. The result as follows. 1. Bisphenl A increased the liver, spleen, kidney weight of female offspring, but not depending on the dose. Male offspring, also increased liver, spleen kidney weight and testis, prostate gland weight, but not depending on the dose. 2. Number of 3.2.2 dams show premated estrus cycle on medium (200/㎏), mid high (2,000㎍/㎏), high (20,000㎍/㎏) treated with bisphenol A 3.HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) analysis detected 21.2% of average bispheno A equivalent to treatment dose in serum of dams, and also found in offspring serums. The results indicate that the estrus was induced during lactation period of dams by bisphenol A, also reached offspring blood through the dams breast milk.
