        This paper presents the analysis of the analysis of thrust characteristics of linear induction motors(LIMs) according to secondary reaction plate. LIMs are well known as high speed transport systems, which can obtain thrust directly without gears and links, or auxiliary mechanisms. A simple structure, easy maintenance, and less environmental pollution are advantages of LIMs. In transport systems using LIMs, the secondary reaction plate is an important design factor, because it has considerable impact on the cost of the railway as well as the performance of the LIMs. This paper deals analyzed the characteristics of linear induction motor used for moving the vehicle of container scanner. Thrust, efficiency and load characteristic were interpreted with FEM regarding two models whose material of secondary reaction plate was copper and aluminum. It suggested the interpretation of thrust, efficiency and power factor characteristic along slip and compared the operation ability of linear induction motor through characteristics analysis along the load.

        TEPC (Tissue Equivalent Proportional Counter) was usually used for high LET radiation dosimetry. We developed a prototype TEPC for micro-dosimetry in the range of 0.2~300 keV/μm. And, the simulated site diameter of the TEPC is 2 μm, of similar size to a cell nucleus. For purposes of characterization the response for high LET radiation of the TEPC has been investigated under 135MeV/u Carbon ions in HIMAC (Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator). We determined the gas multiplication factor and measured the lineal energy spectrum [yd(y)] of 135 MeV/u Carbon ions. The value of the gas multiplication factor was 315 at 700 V bias voltage. As a result of the experiment, we could more understand the performance of the TEPC for high LET (Linear Energy Transfer) radiation. And the procedure of high LET radiation dosimetry using TEPC is established.

        인공지능 모델에 따른 한국 프로야구의 승패 예측 분석에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 인공지능 모델에 따른 한국 프로야구의 승패 예측 분석에 관한 연구를 했다. 승리할 팀과 해당 팀의 최종 리그 순위를 예측했고, 사용자의 편의를 위해 웹사이트도 구축했다. 각 1·3·5이닝 별로 가장 정확도가 높으면서도 오차가 적은 모델을 최적 모델로 선정해 승·패 결과를 예측했고, 이를 토대로 순위표를 작성했다. 결과표는 2020년 개막인 5월 5일부터 8월 30일까지의 예측 결과를 바탕으로 작성했다. 기아타이거즈가 아닌 다른 구단끼리의 경기는 실제 결과를 사용했다. 머신러닝 모델은 KNN과 AdaBoost가 최적 모델로 선정되었으며, 실제 순위와 비교해 본 결과, 경기가 진행될수록, 예측 결과의 순위 오차가 점점 작아지는 것을 확인했다. 딥러닝 모델은 89%의 정확도를 기록했고, 머신러닝 모델과 마찬가지로 경기를 진행할수록 예측 결과 순위 오차가 작아지는 것을 확인했다. 실험 결과는 한국 프로야구 승·패 결과 예측뿐 아니라 다양한 분야에서 사용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 방송국에서 야구 경기를 중계하는 중 이닝별로 인공지능 알고리즘이 예상한 승·패 여부를 중계화면에 띄울 수 있다. 시청자들에게 새로운 흥미를 일으킬 수 있을 것이고, 나아가 구단의 감독들이 이닝마다 데이터를 분석해 경기 중 유동적으로 승리하기 위한 전략을 세울 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In this study, we conducted a study on the win-loss predicton analysis of korean professional baseball by artificial intelligence models. Based on the model, we predicted the winner as well as each team’s final rank in the league. Additionally, we developed a website for viewers’ understanding. In each game’s first, third, and fifth inning, we analyze to select the best model that performs the highest accuracy and minimizes errors. Based on the result, we generate the rankings. We used the predicted data started from May 5, the season’s opening day, to August 30, 2020 to generate the rankings. In the games which Kia Tigers did not play, however, we used actual games’ results in the data. KNN and AdaBoost selected the most optimized machine learning model. As a result, we observe a decreasing trend of the predicted results’ ranking error as the season progresses. The deep learning model recorded 89% of the model accuracy. It provides the same result of decreasing ranking error trends of the predicted results that we observe in the machine learning model. We estimate that this study’s result applies to future KBO predictions as well as other fields. We expect broadcasting enhancements by posting the predicted winning percentage per inning which is generated by AI algorism. We expect this will bring new interest to the KBO fans. Furthermore, the prediction generated at each inning would provide insights to teams so that they can analyze data and come up with successful strategies.

        Generation of $CD2^+CD8^+$ NK Cells from c-$Kit^+$ Bone Marrow Cells in Porcine

        Natural killer (NK) cells provide one of the initial barriers of cellular host defense against pathogens, in particular intracellular pathogens. Because bone marrow-derived hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), lymphoid protenitors, can give rise to NK cells, NK ontogeny has been considered to be exclusively lymphoid. Here, we show that porcine c-$kit^+$ bone marrow cells (c-$kit^+$ BM cells) develop into NK cells in vitro in the presence of various cytokines [interleukin (IL)-2, IL-7, IL-15, IL-21, stem cell factor (SCF), and fms-like tyrosine kinase-3 ligand (FLT3L)]. Adding hydrocortisone (HDC) and stromal cells greatly increases the frequency of c-$kit^+$ BM cells that give rise to $CD2^+CD8^+$ NK cells. Also, intracellular levels of perforin, granzyme B, and NKG2D were determined by RT-PCR and western blotting analysis. It was found that of perforin, granzyme B, and NKG2D levels significantly were increased in cytokine-stimulated c-$kit^+$ BM cells than those of controls. And, we compared the ability of the cytotoxicity of $CD2^+CD8^+$ NK cells differentiated by cytokines from c-$kit^+$ BM cells against K562 target cells for 28 days. Cytokines-induced NK cells as effector cells were incubated with K562 cells as target in a ratio of 100 : 1 for 4 h once a week. In results, $CD2^+CD8^+$ NK cells induced by cytokines and stromal cells showed a significantly increased cytotoxicity 21 days later. Whereas, our results indicated that c-$kit^+$ BM cells not pretreated with cytokines have lower levels of cytotoxicity. Taken together, this study suggests that cytokines-induced NK cells from porcine c-$kit^+$ BM cells may be used as adoptive transfer therapy if the known obstacles to xenografting (e.g. immune and non-immune problems) were overcome in the future.

        CD40 Agonists Alter the Pancreatic Cancer Microenvironment by Shifting the Macrophage Phenotype toward M1 and Suppress Human Pancreatic Cancer in Organotypic Slice Cultures

        Background/Aims: CD40 agonists are thought to generate antitumor effects on pancreatic cancer via macrophages and T cells. We aimed to investigate the role of CD40 agonists in the differentiation of macrophages and treatment of human pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Methods: Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded surgical blocks from patients with pancreatic cancers to evaluate macrophage phenotypes and their relationship with survival. The effects of CD40 agonists on macrophage phenotypes and human pancreatic cancer were evaluated utilizing cell cocultures and organotypic slice cultures. Results: CD163+ (predominant in M2 macrophages) and FOXP3+ (predominant in regulatory T cells) expression levels in the tumors were significantly lower in patients with stage IB pancreatic cancer than in those with stage II or III disease (p=0.002 and p=0.003, respectively). Patients with high CD163+ expression had shorter overall survival than those with low CD163+ expression (p=0.002). In vitro treatment of THP-1 macrophages with a CD40 agonist led to an increase in HLA-DR+ (predominant in M1 macrophages) and a decrease in CD163+ expression in THP-1 cells. Cell cocultures showed that CD40 agonists facilitate the suppression of PANC-1 human pancreatic cancer cells by THP-1 macrophages. Organotypic slice cultures showed that CD40 agonists alter the pancreatic cancer microenvironment by shifting the macrophage phenotype toward M1 (increase HLA-DR+ and decrease CD163+ expression), decreasing the abundance of regulatory T cells, and increasing tumor cell apoptosis. Conclusions: CD163 is related to advanced human pancreatic cancer stages and shorter overall survival. CD40 agonists alter macrophage phenotype polarization to favor the M1 phenotype and suppress human pancreatic cancer.

        Guttate psoriasis is a distinctive form of psoriasis that typically affects children, adolescents, and young adults. The lesions are 0.5-1.5 cm in diameter located on the upper trunk and proximal extremities. Streptococcal throat infection frequently precedes the onset of guttate psoriasis. However, vaccination is also reported to cause guttate psoriasis in some cases. The precise mechanism leading to guttate psoriasis after vaccination is unknown. There is a hypothesis that vaccination may be a triggering factor of guttate psoriasis by stimulating the immune system with an unexplained mechanism. A 68-year-old female presented with multiple scattered brown to erythematous scaly patches and plaques on the trunk and extremities, which occurred 5 days after influenza vaccination. The patient was otherwise healthy and had revealed no other disease within the preceding month. Histological findings of the lesion revealed mild spongiosis, exocytosis, superficial perivascular lymphohistiocytic infiltration, dilated blood vessels in the papillary dermis and focal subcorneal pustules. Finally, the patient was diagnosed with guttate psoriasis. The lesions were improved with narrow-band UVB and alitretinoin (Alitoc<sup>®</sup>, 30 mg/day). We report a case with guttate psoriasis following influenza vaccination.

        Compartment Syndrome of the Upper Extremity Induced by Extravasation of Contrast Media after Computed Tomography

        The incidence of contrast media extravasation has been increasing gradually. Most contrast media extravasations only can cause pain, swelling and erythema. However, in more severe cases, skin necrosis, ulceration, or compartment syndrome may occur, often necessitating a surgery. Early diagnosis and treatment should be established on the spot in order to avoid such a severe damage. We present a case of 42-year-old woman with a compartment syndrome in the right upper extremity caused by extravasation of computed tomography contrast media.

      • Settling local governance for advanced Korea sports club system

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to build a K-sports club centered local governance for settling advanced sports club system. Three building elements of local governance were used to find out tasks for settling advanced sports system. Those three elements were environment, organizational structure and infrastructure. Method: For this purpose, Dephi technique including Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was adapted. Delphi technique and Analytic Hierarchy Process were used for the study. 20 experts were comprised through Purposeful sampling. All contents were collected through professional questionnaires with Delphi Technique and AHP three times. From that, we analyzed the factors and research the relative importance and priorities of the K-sports club centered local governance for settling advanced sports club system. Result: First, tasks of settling local governance for advanced Korea sports system were categorized into three groups. First group consists of three main factors which are environment, organizational structure and infrastructure factor. Second group consists of eleven factors which were divided from three main factors. Third group composed of 42 detail factors. It turned out that the most important detail factor was support for K- sports club through setting rules by local government(. 115). Revising sports club support article of Sports for All Promotion Act(.069), normalizing work of united athletic association(.058), delegation of Public Sports Facilities`` management authority(.051) were confirmed one after another. Second, network- type local governance model was suggested for settling local governance based on priority and importance of detail tasks. The key point of this model was a ``K- sports club centered local governance``. This model consisted of Local residents, subordinate sports club, K-sports club, supporting center of Metropolitan City, united athletic association, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The center of this model was K-sports club. There were Local residents, subordinate sports club below a K-sports club. On the top of K-sports club were athletic association of city, united athletic association, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The K-sports club was located in athletic association for efficient connection with a local government. Subordinate sports clubs which were at the lower structure of K-sports club took on a role of opening school sport facilities for local residents. Conclusion: The Study shows the settling of local governance for advanced Korea sports club system. Throughout this research, in order to proceed and develop our sports club policy conceivable ways were turned out. Furthermore, it could be a key for the solution of Korean Korea sports club system problems.
