In this paper, highly efficient nano peas like structure CuS film has been successfully employed in quantum dot sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) for its highest catalytic activity at minimal cost. The CuS thin film electrode was deposited on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) substrate by chemical bath deposition technique using urea at low deposition temperatures. This electrode elevated the short circuit current and fill factor in comparison to the frequently used Pt electrode. Moreover, electrochemical measurement data disclosed higher electrocatalytic activity toward polysulfide reduction. The CuS film exhibited an average particle size of 180-270nm and film thickness of 825nm. It also revealed superior Jsc (13.87mA/cm2) and conversion efficiency of 4.01% which is remarkably higher than that of the Pt-based cell (1.07%). In addition, stability test conducted for both CuS and Pt-based cells for about 900min at working conditions affirmed that the long-term stability of the CuS film decreased by 16.66% (4.02-3.35%), while that of the Pt based cell got elevated by 24.29% until 700min, and consequently diminished by 8.27% from 700 to 900min.

<P>The temporal-spatial structures of plasma flows and turbulence around tearing mode islands are presented. The experiments were performed using Langmuir probe arrays in the edge plasmas of J-TEXT tokamak. The correlation analyses clearly show that the flows have similar structures of <I>m</I>/<I>n</I> = 3/1 as the magnetic island does (<I>m</I> and <I>n</I> are the poloidal and toroidal mode numbers, respectively). The sign of the potential fluctuations for the flows inverses and the powers significantly reduce at <I>q</I> = 3 surface. Approaching to the last closed flux surface for the magnetic islands, the radially elongated flow structure forms. The flows are concentrated near separatrix and show quadrupole structures. The turbulence is concentrated near X-point and partly trapped inside the magnetic islands.</P>

Most thermal/chemical industries are equipped with heat exchangers to enhance thermal efficiency. The performance of heat exchangers highly depends on design modifications in the tube side, such as the cross-sectional area, orientation, and baffle cut of the tube. However, these parameters do not exhibit a specific relation to determining the optimum design condition for shell and tube heat exchangers with a maximum heat transfer rate and reduced pressure drops. Accordingly, experimental and numerical simulations are performed for a heat exchanger with varying tube geometries. The heat exchanger considered in this investigation is a single-shell, multiple-pass device. A Generalized regression neural network (GRNN) is applied to generate a relation among the input and output process parameters for the experimental data sets. Then, an Artificial immune system (AIS) is used with GRNN to obtain optimized input parameters. Lastly, results are presented for the developed hybrid GRNN-AIS approach.

Numerous genuine issues, for example, financial exchange expectation, climate determining and so forth has inalienable arbitrariness related with them. Receiving a probabilistic system for forecast can oblige this dubious connection among past and future. Commonly the interest is in the contingent likelihood thickness of the arbitrary variable included. One methodology for expectation is with time arrangement and auto relapse models. In this work, liner expectation technique and approach for computation of forecast coefficient are given and likelihood of blunder for various assessors is determined. The current methods all need in some regard assessing a boundary of some accepted arrangement. In this way, an elective methodology is proposed. The elective methodology is to gauge the restrictive thickness of the irregular variable included. The methodology proposed in this theory includes assessing the (discretized) restrictive thickness utilizing a Markovian definition when two arbitrary factors are genuinely needy, knowing the estimation of one of them allows us to improve gauge of the estimation of the other one. The restrictive thickness is assessed as the proportion of the two dimensional joint thickness to the one-dimensional thickness of irregular variable at whatever point the later is positive. Markov models are utilized in the issues of settling on an arrangement of choices and issue that have an innate transience that comprises of an interaction that unfurls on schedule on schedule. In the nonstop time Markov chain models the time stretches between two successive changes may likewise be a ceaseless irregular variable. The Markovian methodology is especially basic and quick for practically all classes of classes of issues requiring the assessment of contingent densities.
