        Long-term outcomes of single-port laparoscopic myomectomy using a modified suture technique

        Objective To evaluate the long-term outcomes, including the pregnancy outcome and recurrence rate after single-port laparoscopic myomectomy (LM) using a modified suture technique with a Hem-o-lok clip (Choi’s LM) and conventional 4-port LM. Methods A retrospective study of patients who underwent Choi’s LM (n=55) and 4-port LM (n=102) in a single institutional hospital was conducted. Patients with <3 symptomatic myomas sized <10 cm each and operated on by a single surgeon were included. Recurrence was confirmed when a myoma measuring ≥3 cm was detected. Results The patients in both groups had similar demographic characteristics. Single (76.4% vs. 62.7%) and intramural (52.7% vs. 56.9%) tumors were commonly detected in both groups in the mean diameter (6.8±1.5 cm vs. 7.0±1.6 cm; P=0.40). In Choi’s LM, 16 patients (29.1%) needed an additional port; those who were nulliparous and/or had a large leiomyoma more frequently required an additional port (P=0.023 and 0.04, respectively). During a median follow-up period of 69 months, 17 patients (7.1% vs. 14.6%) had recurrence. The size of dominant myomas at recurrence was significantly smaller in patients who underwent Choi’s LM (3.4±0.7 cm vs. 5.7±2.4 cm; P=0.004). All 13 patients in both groups who successfully conceived had a full-term delivery. No major complications occurred during pregnancy. Conclusion Although an additional port was frequently used, the long-term outcomes of patients who experienced recurrence and pregnancy after Choi’s LM were acceptable. Considering its usability, Choi’s LM is feasible for the treatment of uterine leiomyoma.

        Hemifacial microsomia is a common congenital craniofacial deformity involving bone and soft-tissue. Mandibular hypoplasia is the most obvious skeletal manifestation of hemifacial microsomia. In the past, complete realignment of the skeleton was preferred to soft-tissue correction, which was clearly second choice. However, in this study, simultaneous correction of bone and soft tissue deformities were equally important in treatment of hemifacial microsomia. One-stage and simultaneous bone and soft tissue reconstruction is possible and staged operations of the skeleton and soft tissue are no longer necessary, except in special cases. Even in children and adolescents, good results and normal growth potential can be achieved with simultaneous correction of bone and soft tissue.

      • Badminton 복식경기시 심박수 변화에 따른 운동강도와 에너지 소모 연구

        The purpose of this study is to measure the amount of energy consumption and the degree of exercise strength in badminton doubles. The subjects of this study were 6 badminton players of "D" Chemistry in Incheon. We measured, calculated and reported the degree of exercise strength and the amount of the energy consumption in using the Nomogram of Astrands through the change of heart rate in badminton games and the work ability and VO2 with change of Heart rate during exercise. The results are as follows: 1. In doubles, the degree of absolute exercise strength was 1 minute and 19 seconds (6.6%) in 151-160 beats/min., 1 minute and 53 seconds (14.5%) in 141-150 beats/min., 1 minute and 4 seconds (28.6%) in 131-140 beats/min., 1 minute and 42 seconds (30.2%) in 121-130 beats/min., 1 minute and 5 seconds (13.9%) in 111-120 beats/min., 1 minute and 20 seconds (3.5%) in 101-110 beats/min., and 2. In doubles, the degree of relative exercise strength was 2 minutes and 24 seconds (11.1%) in 71-80% HRmax.. 5 minutes (26%) in 61-70%HRmax., 7 minutes and 3 seconds (37%) in 51-60% HRmax.. 5 minutes and 51 seconds (31%) in 41-50% HRmax.. The average was 56.0(±5.7)% HRmax.. 3. In doubles, the amount of energy consumption of players was 189.2Kcal (game time: 17 minutes and 33 seconds). 4. Regression on VO2max and Total energy consumption showed Y= 10239.63022 + 598.25266.TEC (R2=0.10344, T=0.76, SEE=1051.10241). 5. Regression on VO2max a PWC170 showed Y= 23.86302 + 59.825027.PWC (R2=0.10344, t= 0.760, SEE= 105.11024)

      • 精製黃酸망간의 熱分解에 依한 γ-MnO_2의 轉移

        The purpose of this study is to produse γ-type manganese dioxide by thermal decomposition of purified manganese(Ⅱ) sulfate. With the intention of obtaining optimum conditions of thermal decomposition were investigated by means of I.C.A.P. analysis, D.T.A., X-ray Diffractometry, T.G.A., Infrared spectrometry and chemical analysis. Purified manganese(Ⅱ) sulfate monohydrate was first decomposed at 225℃ to form anhydrous manganese(Ⅱ) sulfate and then heated again at 725℃ for 0.5hr to obtain manganese(Ⅲ) oxide. The manganese(Ⅲ) oxide was decomposed at 850℃ for 3.0hrs and at 950℃ for 2.0hrs to form trimanganese tetraoxide and then was treated with 15% nitric acid at 120℃ for 0.5hr to obtain the γ-type manganese dioxide.

        인공재배 복령(茯笭)의 성분조성

        인공재배한 백복령의 성분을 분석한 결과 일반성분은 수분 58%, 회분 1.8%, 지방 0.9%, 단백질 0.6%, 섬유소 0.3%로 나타났으며 재배 장소와 방법, 수확시기, 건조조건에 따라 차이가 난다. 무기성분은 ICP로 측정한 결과 Zn 0.63Mg%, Cu 0.18mg%, Fe 1.56mg%, Mn 1.62mg%, Mg 5.28mg%, Ca 12.59mg%, Na 10.12mg%, K 52.39mg%로 나타나 K, Ca, Na 등의 양이온 무기성분이 상당량 함유되어 있었다. 복령 물추출물의 유리당은 glucose만 검출되었고 함량은 1.16㎎%였다. 아미노산은 구성아미노산 13종, 유리아미노산 9종이 확인되었고 함량은 각각 1247.17㎎%, 174.44㎎%였으며, Phe, Iso, Leu, Tyr, His 함량이 높게 나타났다. The various components of cultivated Poria cocos were studied to obtain basic data. The contents of moisture, ash, lipid, protein & fiber were estimated as 58%, 1.8%, 0.9%, 0.6% & 0.3% and the mineral contents of water extracts from Poria cocos were Zn 0.63㎎%, Cu 0.18㎎%, Fe 1.56㎎%, Mn 1.62㎎%, Mg 5.28㎎%, Ca 12.59㎎%, Na 10.12㎎% and K 52.39㎎%. Among them, K, Ca and Na were abundant. Proximate components of Poria cocos were varied according to cultivated place & methods, harvest time and drying condition. Free sugars determined from Poria cocos water extracts were glucose whose contents were 1.16㎎%, but sucrose, maltose and fructose were not detected. Amino acids compositions of Poria cocos were detected as free amino acids 9 kinds, constitunent amino acid 13 kinds and their contents were 1247.17㎎%, 174.44㎎%. Major amino acids were Phe, Iso, Leu, Tyr and His.

      • SMD 자동화 공정의 부품 혼입 방지 시스템

        SMD (surface Mount Device : Print된 기판에 부품을 장착)공정은 완전 자동화 시스템이며, 이 작업을 진행하기 위하여 백 수 십여 가지의 부품을 정해진 부품 카트리지에 삽입한 후 자동화 설비는 그에 맞는 부품을 장착하게 된다. 그러나 부품을 카트리지에 삽입하는 작업을 작업자가 하게 되는데 이는 사람이 하는 일이라 Human Error가 발생할 가능성이 높다. 본 논문에서는 Chip Mounter에 센서를 부착하여 카트리지의 탈착 여부를 실시간으로 감시하는 모니터링 시스템과 부품 카트리지에 표시된 정보를 Bar-code Reader로 판독하게 함으로서 SMD Chip 장착 자동화 공정의 부품 혼입 방지 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발한 장비를 현장에 투입, 실 생산활동에 활용하게 하여 해당기업의 생산성 향상에 크게 기여하고 있다.

      • 중학교 체육교사의 교수행동 분석

        The purpose of this study was to investigate teaching behaviors in middle school physical education classes. The subjects of this study were selected to 9 [mean career 11 years] male physical education teachers of first grade in the middle school at Incheon City. Aspects of teaching behaviors was recomposed with suitability of the actual circumstances based variables of teaching behaviors which was observation record method of Stewart(1983) teaching behaviors in physical education. Dependent variable which aspect of student behaviors was corrected to actual circumstances composed of academic learning time developed by Siedentop(1983) in physical education. The implications of the study are as follow: 1. It was shown that teaching behaviors which have influence on classroom circumstances were physical education activity(49.53%), audio-visual learning activity (23.62%), classroom discipline(22.77%) and waiting(4.08%). 2. It was shown that 30.52% of teaching behaviors was allotted to classroom management, 20.59% to supervision, 18.59% to lecture, and 16.75% to varieties of feedback. 3. It was shown that 54% of cross-interaction was related 54.37% to the whole classroom, 25.35% to individuals, and 20.28% to groups. 4. It was shown that 30.12% of ALT-PE was allotted to exercise task performance, 19.28% to waiting, 18.76% to knowledge understanding, 12.16% to movement, 10.74% to management, 8.44% to non-motor task.
