목적 : 골 연장술 후 생기는 연장 가골에 황화 칼슘과 이종 이식골을 투여하여 골 경화 속도에 대한 영향을 알아보기 위한 실험이었다. 연구대상 및 방법 : 성장중인 뉴질랜드 화이트 토끼(2.0-2.5㎏)의 경골 간부에 골막을 보호하고, 절골술을 시행하고, 5일간의 휴지기후 외고정 장치를 이용하여 1주일 동안 7㎜가 연장될 때까지 하루 1㎜씩 2회의 리듬을 가지고 골 연장을 실시하였다. 제1 실험 군 7마리에는 연장이 끝난 직후 황화 칼슘(Osteoset^(ⓡ), Wright medical USA) 1정, 제 2 실험 군 7마리에는 이종 이식골의 일종인 Lubboc 5㎟을 각각 연장된 가골 부에 주입하고, 단순 연장한 대조군 7마리와 함께, 방사선 및 골 밀도비를 측정하고 추시하여, 골 경화의 진행속도를 비교하였다. 방사선 촬영은 전후면 및 측면사진을 1주 간격으로 촬영하였고, 골밀도 측정은 DEXA(dual energy X-ray absorptionmetry, Lunar^(ⓡ)) 장치를 2주일 간격으로 시행하였다. 결과 : 방사선 소견상, 제 1실험군의 연장가골의 완전 경화시간은 평균 14주, 제 2실험군은 154 주로 각각 대조군의 16.9주보다 단축되었으며, 골 밀도 비에서도, 두 실험군에서 최고치가 대조군의 값보다 높고, 최고치까지의 경과기간도 빨랐다. 결론 : 본 연구에서 연장 가골에 황화칼슘 및 이종 이식골의 투여가 골 경화의 기간을 단축시킬 수 있고, 외고정 장치의 빠른 제거에 도움이 될 수 있음을 알았다. Purpose : This study was designed to know the effect of calcium-sulfate and xenograft on the distracted callus after lengthening. Materials & Methods : We had operation of subperiosteal osteotomy and external fixation on the tibial diaphysis of young New Zealand White rabbits(2.0-2.5㎏); after 5 days of latency period, 7㎜(1㎜/day, 2times/day) of tibial lengthening was reached in a week. At 1 week after lengthening, the 1st experimental group of 7 rabbits received a pellet of calcium sulfate(Osteoset, Wright medical, USA) in the distraction gap, and the 2nd experimental group of 7 rabbits received 5㎜ 2 of xenogrfat(Lubboc) in the distraction gap. But, the control group of 7 rabbits did not receive any of above materials. We compared three groups with the changes of radiographic findings at every week and bone mineral ratio(DEXA) at every two weeks. Results : The time to complete consolidation of distraction callus of both experimental group(calcium sulfate;14 weeks, xenograft; 15.4 weeks) was shorter than that of control group(16.9 weeks) in radiographic findings. Maximum value of bone mineral ratio of distraction callus was higher and the time to reach the highest value was also shortened in the both experimental group compared to control group. Conclusion : By use of bone substitutes as like calcium sulfate or xenograft in the distraction callus with external fixator, it may be possible to shorten the consolidation period and the fixator-wearing period.
Analysis of customers demands for effective management and distribution of plant genetic resources

The need to develop work on conservation of crop genetic diversity is emphasized in change of agricultural environment, such as climate change, turn of dietary habits, use of cereal to bioenergy production. To secure provide the germplasm and to derive improve quality, customers demands was surveyed in 2011 and the results are as follows. In the questionnaire on genetic resources necessary in the future, Korean landrace was the highest as 23.8%, followed by genetic resources of international agricultural research institutions as 21.4% and genetic resources of foreign countries of 21.4%. Followed by 42.8% for genetic resources from foreign countries, response ratio were 10.7%, 9.5% and 9.5% for wild or wild-relative species, advanced cultivar or breeders’ line from foreign countries, and advanced cultivar or breeders’ line from Korea, respectively. In addition, consumers desired different genetic resources according to their institutes. Satisfaction on seed purity, germination rate and expected characteristic expression with the genetic resources was higher than normal by 87.5%, 88.9%, 84.2% of respondents, respectively. In order to improve the quality of conserved resources, it is necessary to select the resources having useful characteristics from the time of introduction, and to facilitate the evaluation of the preserved accessions in the near future. Efforts for expansion and opening of information on genetic resources are required.
Effect of secondary phase particles on the tensile behavior of Mg-Zn-Ca alloy

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In the present study, the effect of secondary phase particles and deformation localization on tensile behaviors of Mg-Zn-Ca alloy were investigated using micro-digital image correlation method. To isolate the effect of the secondary phase particles on tensile behavior, the fractions of the secondary phase particles were adjusted by controlling the annealing temperature. Thermodynamic calculations were performed to identify the fractions of the secondary phase particles. The finite element method was conducted to confirm the localized deformation around the secondary phase particles considering 3-dimensional microstructure. The results suggest that the total fraction of the secondary phase particles affected the localized deformation around the particles and micro-crack propagation process during a tensile test.</P>

본 논문은 인도네시아의 유전자원 이용에 관련된 정책과 규정, 유전자원의 지속가능한 이용에 관련된 전통 지식과 이익의 분배에 대해 분석하였다. 인도네시아는 식물유전자원의 부국으로 일찍부터 자원의 중요성과 가치에 대해 인식하고 자국 의 자원을 보호하고 활용하기 위한 법령제정 및 정책수행을 통하여 자원주권을 지키기 위해 심혈을 기울이고 있다. 부존 자원이 많지 않은 우리나라는 외국의 유용자원을 도입하여 활용함과 아울러 우리의 고유자원을 보전해야 하는 과제를 안고 있다. 작금의 종자전쟁의 시대에 살고 있는 우리는 농업유전자원에 대한 국제적인 논의동향과 쟁점들을 파악하고 대응하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 식물유전자원 부국중의 하나인 인도네시아의 자원관련 법령과 정책을 정리/분석하는 것이 매우 의 미있는 실행이라고 할 수 있겠다. 더불어 유전자원 관리의 선진국들과 G77 등 개도국들의 입법 및 정책방향을 파악하고 분석을 통하여 앞으로 우리나라의 농업유전자원 관련한 국제 논의 및 쟁점대응, 법령제정 및 정책수립 등을 위한 구체적인 기본자료의 확보가 전제되어야 한다. Indonesia is a country with a mega biodiversity and an archipelago of more than 17,000 islands straddling the equator in Southeast Asia. About six thousands of the islands are inhabited. Indonesia has at least 47 district natural ecosystems which are rich in plant and animal resources and large number of islands endemics, with the total known species about 1.46 million. In addition to the richness of biological diversity, indonesia is also rich in cultural diversity. Traditional knowledge has been long established in order to utilize the existing genetic resources for the people welfare. To be able to be good competitor in the era of globalization, these genetic resources must be utilized sustainably and efficiently. To do this, strategic plan which is formally written in the form of law and regulation needs to be established. This study was carried out to discuss available legislations and policies related to access to genetic resources, traditional knowledge and benefit sharing in relation to sustainable use of genetic resources of Indonesia.
Antioxidative Diarylheptanoids from the Fruits of Alpinia oxyphylla

The antioxidative activity of Alpinia oxyphylla was investigated through measuring the radical scavenging effect on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and inhibitory activity for linoleic acid peroxidation. Two antioxidative diarylheptanoids, yakuchinone A (1) and oxyphyllacinol (2), were isolated from the fruits of A. oxyphylla using thin layer chromatography (TLC) autographic assays. The DPPH scavenging activities of the compounds (IC<sub>50</sub>=1, 57±2.1 μM; 2, 89±3.1 μM) were lower than vitamin C (IC<sub>50</sub>=51±1.1 μM), but higher than butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT, IC<sub>50</sub>=99±2.2 μM). Also, inhibitory activities for linoleic acid peroxidation of the compounds (IC<sub>50</sub>=1, 0.19±0.011 mM; 2, 0.31±0.009 mM) were higher than those of vitamin C (IC<sub>50</sub>=0.59±0.017 mM) and BHT (IC<sub>50</sub>=0.52±0.014 mM). In addition the 13C-NMR data of oxyphyllacinol (2) have been first reported in this paper.
자기상관이 있는 장치 공정에서 EWMA와 Shewhart 관리도와의 모니터링 효율성 비교 분석

When monitoring an instrumental process, one often collects a host of data such as characteristic signals sent by a sensor in short time intervals. Characteristic data of short time intervals tend to be autocorrelated. In the instrumental processes often the practice of adjusting the setting value simply based on the previous one, so-called ‘adjacent point operation’, becomes more critical, since in the short run the deviations are harder to detect and in the long run they have amplified consequences. Stochastic modelling using ARIMA or AR models are not readily usable here. Due to the difficulty of dealing with autocorrelated data conventional practice is resorting to choosing the time interval where autocorrelation is weak enough then to using I-MR control chart to judge the process stability. In the autocorrelated instrumental processes it appears that using the Shewhart chart and the time interval data where autocorrelation is relatively not existent turns out to be a rather convenient and very useful practice to determine the process stability. However in the autocorrelated instrumental processes we intend to show that one would presumably do better using the EWMA control chart rather than just using the Shewhart chart along with some arbitrarily intervalled data, since the former is more sensitive to shifts given appropriate weights.
