장애인식개선을 위한 TV시청지도가 일반아동의 장애아 수용태도에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 장애인식개선을 위한 TV시청지도활동이 장애아동에 대한 일반아동의 수용태도 변화에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 실험연구이다. 실험분석결과 장애인식개선을 위한 TV시청지도는 일반아동의 장애아동에 대한 인식적 수용태도를 긍정적으로 변화시키는데 효과가 있었고, 행동적 수용태도에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 장애인식개선을 위한 TV시청지도가 실험대상아동의 성별에 따른 수용태도에는 일관성 있게 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았지만 여자아동이 남자아동에 비해 긍정적인 수용태도를 나타내었다. This study was an experimental research to investigate the effect that the TV program the handicapped person appeared reached the general children's attitudes of accepting the handicap. The conclusion of this is as follows. First, watching TV guidance to improve the handicap cognition had an effect on the change of general children's awareness side of attitudes of accepting toward the handicapped children positively. Second, watching TV guidance to improve the handicap cognition had an effect on the change of general children's behavioral side of attitudes of accepting the handicapped children positively. Third, there was no significant difference in the attitudes of accepting according to the sex of children as an object of experiment, but watching TV guidance to improve the handicap awareness presented positive attitudes of accepting in the girl students compared with the boy students. Namely, it found out that if the proper program for improving the handicap awareness would be supplied, it could change the general children's attitudes of accepting toward the handicapped children positively.
보리의 제맥과정 중 Arabinoxylan의 용해성 변화

보리를 침맥한 후 5일 동안 발아하는 제맥과정 중에 arabinoxylan 함량의 변화를 측정하였다. 제맥과정 중 초기에 불용성인 보리의 arabinoxylan은 발아과정 중에 가용화됨에 따라 수용성 arabinoxylan의 함량이 약간 증가하는 추세를 보여주었다. 발아중인 보리의 수용성 arabinoxylan 부분은 21℃ 추출온도에 비해 45℃의 추출온도에서 보다 높은 함량으로 나타났다. 발아시간에 따라 적절히 변형된 맥아(96시간 발아)와 덜 변형된 맥아(60시간 발아)를 선발하여 변형정도에 따른 두 가지 맥아에 대하여 당화온도별로(45~75℃) 당화 후 맥즙의 arabinoxylan 함량을 분석하였다. 당화온도를 45℃에서 75℃를 증가시킴에 따라 맥즙에 용출되어져 나오는 arabinoxylan의 함량은 약간 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 본 실험의 당화조건에서 적절히 변형된 맥아로부터 얻은 맥즙과 덜 변형된 맥아로부터 얻은 맥즙 간의 arabinoxylan 함량에서 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. Barleys at different malting stages from steeping to 5 day germination were investigated for soluble, insoluble, and total arabinoxylans at three different extraction temperatures of 21, 45 and 65℃. Slight differences in total arabinoxylan levels in barleys were observed during malting stages. During germination, initially insoluble arabinoxylan could be more soluble, thus the solubilized arabinoxylan tended to increase until 4 day germination. The proportion of soluble arabinoxylan in germinating barleys was increased from ambient temp (21℃) to 45 or 65℃. Two barley malt samples were selected at two different stages of germination, well-modified malt germinated for 96 hr and poorly-modified malt for 60 hr, and mashed isothermally at 45, 55, 65, or 75℃ for 2 hr. Increasing temperature over 45 to 75℃ slightly decreased the amount of arabinoxylan solubilized in wort. Arabinoxylan content of wort from well-modified malt was not significantly different from poorly-modified malt at all mashing temperatures.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The electrical and thermal conductivities of bulk barium-added silicon oxycarbide (SiOC-Ba) ceramics are investigated. The SiOC-Ba ceramics exhibited improved electrical and thermal conductivities upon increasing the sintering temperature from 1450°C to 1650°C. Precipitation of graphitic carbon clusters observed by Raman spectroscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy is attributed to the phase separation during the fabrication process. The increase in the electrical conductivity can be rationalized in terms of an increase in the density of the <I>sp<SUP>2</SUP> </I> CC bonds within the carbon clusters. The increase in the thermal conductivity is mainly attributed to the formation of interconnected graphitic clusters in the SiOC matrix and SiC embedded in the clusters. The electrical and thermal conductivities of the SiOC-Ba ceramics sintered at 1650°C are 14.0Ω<SUP>−1</SUP> cm<SUP>−1</SUP> and 5.6W/mK, respectively, at room temperature. The electrical conductivity of SiOC-Ba sintered at 1550°C is 5.3Ω<SUP>−1</SUP> cm<SUP>−1</SUP> and 7.0Ω<SUP>−1</SUP> cm<SUP>−1</SUP> at 2 and 300K, respectively.</P>

<P>Traditional medicinal plants contain a wide variety of chemicals that have potent antibacterial activity. To find an alternative agent of overcoming the problems of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), the antibacterial mechanism of Ponciruss trifoliata against MRSA was investigated. Ethyl acetate (EtOAc)-soluble extract of P. trifoliata methanolic extract was evaluated for antibacterial activity using minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). An EtOAc sub-fraction 08 (EA08) from silica-gel open column chromatography exhibited strong anti-MRSA activity. Apart from the study to isolate single compound from EA08, a synergistic antibacterial effect between the sub-fraction and beta-lactam antibiotics against MRSA was determined. In order to elucidate the antibacterial restoring mechanism of EA08 on MRSA, mRNA expression of mecA gene and production penicillin-binding protein 2a (PBP2a) encoded by mecA gene were monitored. EA 08 showed the strongest antibacterial activity with MIC value of 256 mu g ml(-1). MIC of oxacillin against MRSA was dramatically reduced from 512 to 16 mu g ml(-1) in combination with 256 mu g ml(-1) of EA08. The fractional inhibitory concentration index of oxacillin was measured at 0.53 in combination with EA08 against MRSA, suggesting that EA08-oxacillin combinations exert synergetic effect against MRSA. The analysis of RT-PCR and Western blotting profiles revealed that EA08 inhibited mRNA expression of mecA gene and production PBP2a, which is a key determinant for beta-lactam antibiotic resistance, in a dose-dependent manner. These results indicated that EA08 eventually led to the reduction or inhibition of PBP2a production through translational inhibition in MRSA.</P>

A rapid and reliable method for the simultaneous determination of 12 biogenic amines (BAs; agmatine,phenylethylamine, tyramine, putrescine, cadaverine,histamine, serotonin, tryptamine, spermidine, noreinephrine,dopamine, and spermine) in cheonggukjang was optimized and validated using ultra high pressure liquid chromatography-electrospray tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLCESI-MS/MS). The BAs were dansylated and separated on a C8 column under LC gradient of 7 min duration, and detected by MS/MS with the multiple reaction monitoring mode (MRM). This method exhibited excellent linearity for all of the analytes with correlation determination (R2)higher than 0.98. The limits of detection (LODs) were 10.8-39.6 μg/kg. The precision results were expressed as relative standard deviation (RSD), ranged from 0.3 to 14.3% for intra-day and from 0.9 to 15.4% for the interday. The proposed method will help to ensure for quality control by monitoring of BAs in cheonggukjang.

Bacillus cereus is a gram-positive, rod-shaped, spore-forming bacterium that has been isolated from contaminated fermented soybean food products and from the environment. B. cereus produces diarrheal and emetic toxins and has caused many outbreaks of foodborne diseases. In this study, we investigated whether B. amyloliquefaciens RD7-7, isolated from rice doenjang (Korean fermented soybean paste), a traditional Korean fermented soybean food, shows antimicrobial activity against B. cereus and regulates its toxin gene expression. B. amyloliquefaciens RD7-7 exhibited strong antibacterial activity against B. cereus and inhibited the expression of B. cereus toxin-related genes (groEL, nheA, nheC, and entFM). We also found that addition of water extracts of soybean and buckwheat soksungjang (Korean fermented soybean paste made in a short time) fermented with B. amyloliquefaciens RD7-7 significantly reduced the growth and toxin expression of B. cereus. These results indicate that B. amyloliquefaciens RD7-7 could be used to control B. cereus growth and toxin production in the fermented soybean food industry. Our findings also provide a basis for the development of candidate biological control agents against B. cereus to improve the safety of fermented soybean food products.
