제4기 동안 활동했던 단층은 가까운 미래에 다시 움직일 가능성이 높은 단층으로 평가되며, 단층 정보에 기초한 지진재해평가 관점에서 단층의 제4기 시공간적 지진 거동 이력에 대한 이해는 반드시 선행되어야 한다. 우리는 남부 양산단층의 월산-인보 구간(경주시 내남면 월산리–울산시 울주군 두서면 인보리)의 4지점(월산, 미호, 인보N, 인보S)에서 수행된 고지진 굴착 조사와 연대측정 분석 결과를 바탕으로 해당 고지진 단층 파열 시나리오를 제안하고자 한다. 지형 분석과 굴착면 조사 결과, 고지진 단층파열은 양산단층대를 구성하는 일부 단층면이 우수향 운동감각으로 재활성 된 결과임을 알 수 있다. 월산지점에서는 최소 2회의 고지진을 인지하였으며, 그 시기는 37–33 ka와 33 ka 이후이다. 미호지점에서도 역시 2회의 고지진이 발생하였으며, 그 시기는 35 ka 이전과 35–30 ka 사이이다. 인보리에서는 인접한 두 지점(인보N, 인보S)에서의 조사 결과를 종합하여, 2회의 고지진을 인지하였으며, 발생 시기는 각각 70–52 ka와 37–17 ka 사이로 제한된다. 이러한 조사결과는 월산-미호 구간과 인보 구간의 최후기 직전 고지진(penultimate event)이 서로 다른 시기에 발생한 개별적인 고지진의 결과임을 지시한다. 반면 최후기 고지진(most recent event)의 경우, OSL 연대 측정의 오차 범위를 고려하면 두 개의 고지진 단층 파열 시나리오를 제안할 수 있다. 우선, 월산–미호–인보지점을 포함하는 전체 구간이 약 30 ka에 발생한 한 번의 고지진을 동시에 겪었을 가능성이다. 다음으로 월산–미호 구간이 약 33–30 ka에 발생한 고지진단층파열을 겪고, 이후 인보 구간이 약 29–17 ka에 발생한 별도의 고지진을 겪었을 가능성이 있다. 향후 추가적인 고지진 조사 결과가 확보된다면, 남부 양산단층에서 발생했던 고지진에 대한 보다 정확한 시공간적 이력을 이해할 수 있을 것이다.

In this study, high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) was employed to detect 26 antidiabetic compounds in adulterated dietary supplements using a simple, selective method. The work presented herein may help prevent incidents related to food adulteration and restrict the illegal food market. The best separation was obtained on a Shiseido Capcell Pak(R) C18 MG-II ($2.0mm{\times}100mm$, $3{\mu}m$), which improved the peak shape and MS detection sensitivity of the target compounds. A gradient elution system composed of 0.1 % (v/v) formic acid in distilled water and methanol at a flow rate of 0.3 mL/min for 18 min was utilized. A triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with an electrospray ionization source operated in the positive or negative mode was employed as the detector. The developed method was validated as follows: specificity was confirmed in the multiple reaction monitoring mode using the precursor and product ion pairs. For solid samples, LOD ranged from 0.16 to 20.00 ng/mL and LOQ ranged from 0.50 to 60.00 ng/mL, and for liquid samples, LOD ranged from 0.16 to 20.00 ng/mL and LOQ ranged from 0.50 to 60.00 ng/mL. Satisfactory linearity was obtained from calibration curves, with $R^2$ > 0.99. Both intra and inter-day precision were less than 13.19 %. Accuracies ranged from 80.69 to 118.81 % (intra/inter-day), with a stability of less than 14.88 %. Mean recovery was found to be 80.6-119.0 % and less than 13.4 % RSD. Using the validated method, glibenclamide and pioglitazone were simultaneously determined in one capsule at concentrations of 1.52 and 0.53 mg (per capsule), respectively.

Mirror duality and noncommutative tori

<P>In this paper, we study a mirror duality on a generalized complex torus and a noncommutative complex torus. First, we derive a symplectic version of Riemann conditions using mirror duality on ordinary complex tori. Based on this, we will find a mirror correspondence on generalized complex tori and generalize the mirror duality on complex tori to the case of noncommutative complex tori.</P>

We organized the scientific names of Chinese cabbage according to the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (ICN) and the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants (ICNCP). We found that the subspecies name 'Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis (Lour.) Rupr.' was suitable as the scientific name for Chinese cabbage, and we classified B. rapa var. glabra Regel. as its synonym. In addition, B. petsai Bailey is an 'unrecorded name' not found in the original description, and therefore is not suitable for use. We conclude that all names based on this name are 'invalid names', and should not be used.

Super Theta Vectors and Super Quantum Theta Operators

Theta functions are the sections of line bundles on a complex torus. Noncommutative versions of theta functions have appeared as theta vectors and quantum theta operators. In this paper we describe a super version of theta vectors and quantum theta operators. This is the natural unification of Manin's result on bosonic operators, and the author's previous result on fermionic operators.
