      • The analysis of the inconveniences among the residents of rural communities

        A shrinking population, low birthrate, and aging society are problems Japanese society is currently facing. The population of Japan began decreasing in 2005 and It is estimated the population will shrink to 70% of its current level by 2055. there are disparities between sparsely populated mountainous regions and urban areas in terms of the social capital that forms the basis of everyday life (infrastructure such as public facilities, roads, sewers, telecommunications; and medical, health, and welfare systems). Our objective was to clarify issues related to the living environments of older adults people. Methods: Surveys were conducted using questionnaires and through semistructured interviews. (1) Questionnaire survey: Subjects: 333 households, 627 people age 20 or older, a collection rate of 37.3%. (2) Semi-structured interview The result of this study is most of participant wanted to continue living in the district but the living environment are lacking, most of resident is single person households and the 80% of resident are regularly going to hospital. 50% of them in personal interview said that the transportation infrastructure and medical service is inconvenient. The main reason of the inconvenient is high frequent of going to hospital and difficulty finding support. In order to support the older adults to live their home in rural community, it is necessary to advance developing human resources and develop the community support system in order to provide the end of life care in the home.

      • Present Situation and Problems of Inclusive Education in Japan

        The purpose of this paper was to discuss the inevitability and the difficulties of introducing inclusive education in Japan by analyzing the present special education situation. Attaining the purpose, three directions were discussed. The first was analyzing present tendencies of statistics about special education and outcomes of investigation studies on realities of special or regular school settings. The second was discussing cultural factors against introducing inclusive education to Japan. And the last was reconsidering the meaning of two reports on special education reform. After these discussions, some important points were suggested. Many problems which affected present system arose and preparedness for transition from the present system to inclusive education was proceeding. And solving cultural problems was an important condition if we introduced inclusive education in Japan. In these circumstances, the government has been tried to reform special education system. Achieving this reform, we had to pay attention to cultural factors more intensively and to slough off the remedial education paradigm for reorganize education system effectively.

        Molecular diversity and distribution of indigenous arbuscular mycorrhizal communities colonizing roots of two different winter cover crops in response to their root proliferation

        A clear understanding of how crop root proliferation affects the distribution of the spore abundance of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and the composition of AMF communities in agricultural fields is imperative to identify the potential roles of AMF in winter cover crop rotational systems. Toward this goal, we conducted a field trial using wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) or red clover (Trifolium pratense L.) grown during the winter season. We conducted a molecular analysis to compare the diversity and distribution of AMF communities in roots and spore abundance in soil cropped with wheat and red clover. The AMF spore abundance, AMF root colonization, and abundance of root length were investigated at three different distances from winter crops (0 cm, 7.5 cm, and 15 cm), and differences in these variables were found between the two crops. The distribution of specific AMF communities and variables responded to the two winter cover crops. The majority of Glomerales phylotypes were common to the roots of both winter cover crops, but Gigaspora phylotypes in Gigasporales were found only in red clover roots. These results also demonstrated that the diversity of the AMF colonizing the roots did not significantly change with the three distances from the crop within each rotation but was strongly influenced by the host crop identity. The distribution of specific AMF phylotypes responded to the presence of wheat and red clover roots, indicating that the host crop identity was much more important than the proliferation of crop roots in determining the diversity of the AMF communities.

        해방 후 한국에서의 사회교육학설의 형성에 관한 연구 (Ⅰ)

        한국에서는 식민지 해방 후의 혼란, 한국전쟁, 군사정권, 북한과의 군사적 대립 등과 같은 역사적 경로를 거치고 있다. 또한 ‘사회교육법’의 성립에 있어서는 1952년에 처음 ‘사회교육법 시안’이 작성되지만, 한국전쟁에서 사회가 혼란하고, 입법화 할 수 없었다. 그 후 사회교육법 시안은 작성, 계속 수정되고, 1982년에 간신히 제정·공포되게 되었다.본 연구는 이와 같은 경위를 가지는 일본 식민지 해방 후의 한국에 있어서 사회교육의 제도나 실태, 사회교육에 관한 연구가 구체화 되어 가는 데에 있어서, 사회교육학설이 어떻게 형성되어 온 것인지를 해명 해 나가는 데 관심이 있다. 여기에서는 한국 사회교육연구의 제일인자인 황종건의 사회교육론을 채택하고 있다. 황종건의 교육이념은 다음과 같은 것이다. 개인은 사회 문화의 이해, 공유에 의해서 사회의 한 구성원이 된다. 사회는 개인의 문화 형성 과정을 통해서 문화의 전승, 발전과 자기의 지속적인 발전을 실현하는 것이다. 이러한 개인의 자기교육과 사회 진보를 가능하게 하는 것이 교육이다. 황종건은 모든 인간이 자기실현의 기회를 얻어서 사회적, 문화적, 직업적으로 적응할 수 있도록, 교육 본래의 기능이 발휘할 수 있도록 하는 사회교육을 조직·운영하기 위해서 정열을 가지고 민주적, 선구적이고 지도적인 역할을 다하여 왔다. In Korea, historical circumstances such as confusion after colony release, the Korean war. a military regime, and military confrontation, are followed. Although the social education law tentative plan was created for the first time also in enactment of the social education law in 1952, in the Korea war, society was able to get confused and was not able to was enact. Then, the social education tentative plan was created, continued being corrected, and was enacted and proclaimed in 1982. This research solves how the social education theory has been formed, when the research on the system of the social education in Korea after the Japanese colony release with such circumstances, the actual condition, and social education takes shape. As on method of solving, the social education theory of Jong-Gon Hwang which is the leading authority of the Korean social education research is taken up. All the human beings got the opportunity of self-actualization, Jong-Gon Hwang had passion on order to organize and manage social education by which the function of educational original supported so that it can be socially, cultural, and occupational adapted is demonstrated, he played a role of folk, pioneering and leadership sure enough,

      • Helicity-Selective Photoreaction of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes with Organosulfur Compounds in the Presence of Oxygen

        <P>This report describes a helicity-selective photoreaction of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with disulfide in the presence of oxygen. The SWNTs were characterized using absorption, photoluminescence (PL), Raman, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and current–voltage (<I>I</I>–<I>V</I>) measurements. Results showed remarkable helicity-selective (metallic SWNTs/semiconducting SWNTs and diameter) functionalization of SWNTs. The reaction rate decreases in the order of metallic SWNTs > semiconducting SWNTs and small-diameter SWNTs > large-diameter SWNTs. Control experiments conducted under various experimental conditions and ESR and femtosecond laser flash photolysis measurements revealed that the helicity-selective reaction proceeds via a photoinduced electron transfer reaction.         오스테나이트계 스테인레스강의 미세한 마르텐사이트 입자 분산을 이용한 내피로 강화법의 개발 : (1) 반복소성변형 거동

        A new method for fatigue life extension has been proposed in this study. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method, an austenitic stainless(SUS304) steel(pre-strain : about 2%) was prepared. It was shown from transmission electron microscopy(TEM) observation that micro-sized α martensite particles (0.02∼0.1㎛ in diameter) were dispersed in the SUS304 steel by cooling at -78℃. No decrease in ductility was observed in tensile tests for the material with dispersed micro-sized martensite particles as compared to the as-received material. After tension-compression loading, dislocation structure and surface microstructure observations were carried out using a TEM and a laser microscope, respectively. It was found that the re-arrangement of dislocations and the formation of large α martensite, which may cause fatigue crack initiation, were suppressed in the material with dispersed micro-size α martensite particles as compared to the as-received material. Fatigue life of the material with dispersed micro-sized α martensite particles did not increase in a low cycle regime($lt; 10⁴cycles) as compared to the as-received material. However, in a high cycle regime( $gt; 10⁴cycles), the fatigue life of the material with dispersed micro-sized a martensite particles was much longer than that of the as-received material.

        High cycle fatigue tests were performed on both as-received material (SUS 304: an austenitic stainless steel) and the material with dispersed micro-sized α martensite particles by cooling at -78℃. In a high cycle regime, the fatigue life of the material with dispersed micro-sized α martensite particles was much longer than that of the as-received material. After high cycle fatigue test, dislocation structure and micro-structure (longitudinal section) observations were carried out using a TEM and a laser microscope, respectively.         We demonstrate that C60(OH)n-assists the dispersion of SWNTs in aqueous and nonaqueous solutions, which effectively exfoliates large-diameter SWNTs. The SWNT dispersions are characterized by absorption and photoluminescence spectra.
