      • 韩国地名的文化传统研究

        Place name is a kind of language symbols, but also a precious heritage of language culture. Place names not only reflect the long-held form of a country, a region and a nation, but also symbolize the traditional features of history, culture and ways of thinking. Naming a place actually reveals the spirit world of the region and the nation. Therefore, place name, as a language phenomenon, which differs from the general ones, contains certain cultural features. Korean place names, which is not merely the accumulation of thousands of years of traditional Korean culture, also is a fusion of the profound Chinese traditional culture. So, if you want to have more objective understanding of Korean name culture, besides, the necessary research on the unique place name culture, the influence of Chinese traditional culture is a part which can not be ignored. Based on the previous research, the author will look up the cultural traditions of the two countries from the perspective of foreigners, Through the analysis of the way of naming a place in Korea, deep insights and cultural connotations of Korean place name are fully displayed in the thesis.

        Vibratory characteristics of cracked non-uniform beams with different boundary conditions

        Non-uniform beams with bending moment of inertia and mass per unit length varying as I(x) = α 1 (1+βx) λ+4 and m(x) = α 2 (1+βx) λ are widely used in various engineering fields, such as the civil and mechanical engineering etc. This paper presents an exact method to investigate the free vibration of cracked non-uniform beams with different conditions. Firstly, the closed form solution for the mode shape functions of the non-uniform beam is obtained based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. Secondly, the beam is divided into several segments according to the different variable form, and each segment is further divided into many sub-segments by cracks. Four undetermined coefficients could represent the mode shape function of each sub-segment by simulating crack with the massless rotational spring. The undetermined transfer relationship in the same segment is obtained based on the principle of the transfer matrix method. The fourorder undetermined coefficient matrix is obtained by using continuity and equilibrium conditions between adjacent segments, and then the characteristic equation of the entire cracked beam is obtained after that. Finally, the results obtained from the finite element method and published papers are used to validate the correctness and reliability of the proposed method. The influences of crack depth, location and boundary conditions on natural frequencies of cracked non-uniform beams are discussed.

        일반 논문 : <춘향전(春香傳)>과 <서상기(西廂記)>의 관계성 연구

        판소리계소설 <春香傳>은 판소리 <春香歌>를 기반으로 한 작품으로서 한국에서 가장 대표적인 고전이다. 민간에서 취재하고 성장된 <春香傳>은 그 생성 당시부터 강한 민중성을 담고 있었다. 또한 <春香傳>은 판소리 단계를 거치면서 판소리계소설의 특징인 적층문학적 성격을 지님과 동시에 연진과 재창작의 과정에는 사회적 풍자와 민중의 삶을 잘 담아내고 있다. 한편 중국 고대 鶯鶯과 張生의 사랑이야기인 <西廂記>는 현재에도 중국인이 가장 애호하는 이야기의 하나로서, 중국 唐代 元진의 傳奇소설 <鶯鶯傳>에서 유래되어 宋代의 講唱의 형식을 접하고, 金代를 거쳐 元代에 이르러 雜劇이 발전하던 시기에 王實甫에 의해 집성된 잡극의 명작이다. 사실 <春香傳>과 <西廂記>에 대한 비교 연구는 한국 학계에서 일찍부터 시작되어 적지 않은 성과를 내었는데, 그 동안 두 작품 간의 비교는 주로 인물 형상과 배치, 극적 구조, 작품에서 나온 詩詞수용 양상 등에 초점을 두고 진행되었다. 하지만 그들의 장르적 성향과 발생·연진 과정에 중점을 두는 비교 연구는 그다지 많지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본고는 두 작품의 발생 및 흥행기의 시대상을 역추적 해봄으로써 장르적 발생 배경에 어떠한 관계성이 있는지를 먼저 분석하고, 두 작품의 연진 과정과 두 작품에서 각기 담고 있는 주제사상과 내재돼 있는 작품의 성향을 체계적으로 비교분석하고자 한다. 일차적으로 본고는 이러한 작업을 통해 두 작품 간의 영향수수관계를 일정 부분 끌어내었다고 자평하지만, 나아가 중국인인 필자에게 <春香傳>이 현대에도 고스란히 남아 있는 한국의 전통을 보여줄 수 있는 가장 뛰어난 고전이라고 하는 것을 충분히 인정할 수 있는 계기가 되었다는 점에서 의의가 크다고 하겠다. Being one of the classic masterpieces in Korean literature, <Chunhyangjeon>is still very popular and draws people`s attention until now. The story of the two characters, Chunhyang and Lee Mongryong, was presented in the form of Seolhwa at the very beginning, developed in the form of Pansori by Gwangda, and further spread in the form of novel. During its progressive development, <Chunhyangga> was a key phase, which was the source of the novel of <Chunhyangjeon>. <Chunhyangga> took a unique and traditional form of integrated arts which was initiated in Korean. Due to its progressive phase of Pansori, <Chunhyangjeon> carried the characteristics of oral literature shared by Pansori novels and at the same time, it is also a satire to the society and an exposure of people`s life during the process of its development. <The Romance of West Chamber> is one of the best works in Chinese ancient literature. Moreover, it is often to be taken as the arguing and researching target by the scholars due to its far-reaching effect on Korean ancient literature. The story of the heroine, Yingying, originated from a legend of <A Biography of Yingying> in Tang dynasty and was demonstrated in various artificial forms in Song and Jin dynasty and finally got its form of poetic drama set to music in Yuan dynasty. The story of Yingying is not so much a separate story as story series which was compiled on the basis of different literary styles and reflected the changes of social values and people`s likes in different dynasties. Therefore, during its development, <The Romance of West Chamber> not only adopted the most popular folk artistic forms in different times but alsochanges its contents and characteristics accordingly. A comparative study on <Chunhyangjeon> and <The Romance of West Chamber> has begun and already gained a lot of achievements in Korean literatus since long time. Most of the studies mainly focused on characters and image, works` structure as well as poems inside the opus. However, the comparative study on their types of literature and development was seldom focused on. Pansori was the artistic form before the appearance of Pansori. Taking the possibilities of being affected by Chinese oral literature, it is a must to clarify the relationship between Pansori and Chinese oral literature, which will do good to the understanding of the Pansori novel <Chunhyangjeon>. With the development of times, people lived different kinds of life and held different appetites on artistic works. Thus, comparative study on the process of the two pieces of works can benefit us to have a better understanding of the politics, economy, culture and people`s well-being of the people and times which are implicated in the works. There are many similarities between <Chunhyangjeon> and many Chinese literary works especially <The Romance of West Chamber> in terms of story outline and characters. So far, there is no convincing literature in the literatus which can clarify their relationship. However, it is sure that there are a lot of close connections between them, which originated from the cultural communications between the two countries in the long time. No matter how far reaching the effect that Chinese literature has on the works of <Chunhyangjeon>, we can still vividly see the visage of the post-Korean and people`s life through the masterpiece of the ancient literary works.

        조선족과 한족의 한국 제품 구매 행태의 매개 변수 효과에 관한 실증 연구

        본 연구는, 우선 중국에 거주하는 조선족과 한족 사이에 한국 제품 구매 행태와 한류에 대한 선호도의 차이가 존재하는 이유를 검증하고자 하는 연구이다. 구체적으로 조선족과 한족 집단 간에 한국 제품 보유/경험 정도, 한국 제품 구매의도와 함께 한류 드라마에 대한 호감도와 한류 스타에 대한 호감도의 차이를 우선 살펴보았다. 이와 함께, 본 연구는 이러한 차이가 존재하게 된 매개 변수의 효과를 검증하였다. 매개 변수로서 중국인으로서의 정체성, 한국어 능력 그리고 한국 노출 정도를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해서 길림성 연길시와 장춘시에 거주하는 조선족과 한족 대학생 각각 160명, 총 320명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 검증 결과, 조선족과 한족 집단 간에 한국 제품 구매 행태와 한류에 대한 선호도 차이가 존재하였으나, 그 차이는 매개 변수의 차이 즉 중국인으로서의 정체성, 한국어 구사 능력 그리고 한국 노출 정도의 차이에 의해 발생한 것으로 발견되었다. 이와 함께, 이들 매개변수를 통제한 결과, 두 민족 집단 간의 차이가 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 민족 간의 차이는 매개 변수의 차이에 의해 발생하는 것임을 시사해주는 결과이다. 마지막으로 학술적인 측면뿐만 아니라 마케팅 관점에서 시사점이 논의된다. This study is first intended to empirically investigate differences between Korean Chinese and Han Chinese in their consumption behavior towards Korean products and their attitudes towards Korean dramas. In addition, such differences are hypothesized to be mediated by their differences in Chinese identity, Korean linguistic abilities, and exposures to Korea and Korean TV programs. Surveys were carried out with college students at two major universities in the Gilin province with 160 Korean Chinese and 160 Han Chinese. Our findings indicate that there exist differences between Korean Chinese and Han Chinese in their experiences and purchase intentions of Korean products and in their attitudes toward Korean TV dramas and stars. But such differences were found to be mediated by their differences in Chinese identity, Korean linguistic abilities, and exposures to Korea and Korean TV programs. Finally, academic and marketing implications were discussed.

        韩国地名的文化传统研究

        지명은 일종의 언어문자부호로 더욱 귀중한 언어문화유산이다. 지명은 한 지역, 민족, 국가의 고유 언어 형식을 반영할 뿐만 아니라 그 전통적인 문화, 역사, 사고방식 등 특징을 농축하였다. 지명의 명명은 한 지역과 민족 특유의 정신세계를 체현한다. 따라서 지명은 언어현상이지만 일반적인 언어현상과 다르게 나름의 문화적인 특성을 가지고 있다. 한국의 지명은 수천 년 동안 쌍인 한국 문화전통의 누적물일 뿐 아니라 중국 전통문화도 들어 있다는 것이다. 따라서 한국의 지명 문화를 좀 더 객관적이고 깊이 있게 이해하려면 ‘한국적인 미’ 외에, 중국 전통문화에서 받은 영향을 또한 소홀히 여기면 안 되는 부분이다. 이에 필자는 그 동안의 연구를 근간으로 하여, 외국인의 시각으로 한국 지명에서 투영된 중국 전통문화와의 유사성을 유의하면서 한국 지명의 명명 방식과 문화적 의미, 그리고 그 중의 전통을 더 깊게 찾아보고자 한다. 地名是一种语言文字符号,更是贵重的语言文化遗产。地名不仅反映了一个国家、地区、民族的固有语言形式,更浓缩了其传统的文化、历史、思考方式等特征。地名的命名,体现了一个地区和民族特有的精神世界。因此,地名虽然是一种语言现象,但又不同于一般的语言现象,还具有一定的文化特征。 韩国的地名不仅积累了数千年的韩国文化传统,也融合了深厚的中国传统文化。因此,要想更加客观深刻地理解韩国的地名文化,除了对韩国特有的地名文化进行考察外,中国传统文化的影响研究也是不可忽视的一部分。对此,笔者将前期研究做为基础,以外国人的视角,从查找中韩两国文化的传统入手,通过对韩国地名命名方式的分析,来管窥韩国地名中所蕴含的深层思想和文化涵义。

      • Genetic Variants at 6p21.1 and 7p15.3 Identified by GWASs of Multiple Cancers and Ovarian Cancer Risk: a Case-control Study in Han Chinese Women

        A recent study summarized several published genome-wide association studies (GWASs) of cancer and reported two pleiotropic loci at 6p21.1 and 7p15.3 contributing to multiple cancers including lung cancer, noncardia gastric cancer (NCGC), and esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma (ESCC) in Han Chinese. However, it is not known whether such genetic variants have similar effects on the risk of gynecologic cancers, such as ovarian cancer. Hence, we explored associations between genetic variants in 6p21.1 and 7p15.3 and ovarian cancer risk in Han Chinese women. We performed an independent case-control study by genotyping the two loci (rs2494938 A > G at 6p21.1 and rs2285947 A > G at 7p15.3) in a total of 377 ovarian cancer cases and 1,034 cancer-free controls using TaqMan allelic discrimination assay. We found that rs2285947 at 7p15.3 was significantly associated with risk of ovarian cancer with per allele odds ratio (OR) of 1.33 [95% confidence interval (CI): 1.08-1.64, P=0.008]. However, no significant association was observed between rs2494938 and ovarian cancer risk. Our results showed that rs2285947 at 7p15.3 may also contribute to the development of ovarian cancer in Han Chinese women, further suggesting pleiotropy of 7p15.3 in multiple cancers.

        The CREG1-FBXO27-LAMP2 axis alleviates diabetic cardiomyopathy by promoting autophagy in cardiomyocytes

        Autophagy plays an important role in the development of diabetic cardiomyopathy. Cellular repressor of E1A-stimulated genes 1 (CREG1) is an important myocardial protective factor. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects and mechanisms of CREG1 in diabetic cardiomyopathy. Male C57BL/6 J mice, Creg1 transgenic mice and cardiac-specific knockout mice were used to establish a type 2 diabetes model. Small animal ultrasound, Masson’s staining and western blotting were used to evaluate cardiac function, myocardial fibrosis and autophagy. Neonatal mouse cardiomyocytes (NMCMs) were stimulated with palmitate, and the effects of CREG1 on NMCMs autophagy were examined. CREG1 deficiency exacerbated cardiac dysfunction, cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis in mice with diabetic cardiomyopathy, which was accompanied by exacerbated autophagy dysfunction. CREG1 overexpression improved cardiac function and ameliorated cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis in diabetic cardiomyopathy by improving autophagy. CREG1 protein expression was decreased in palmitate-induced NMCMs. CREG1 knockdown exacerbated cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and inhibited autophagy. CREG1 overexpression inhibited cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and improved autophagy. LAMP2 overexpression reversed the effect of CREG1 knockdown on palmitate-induced inhibition of cardiomyocyte autophagy. CREG1 inhibited LAMP2 protein degradation by inhibiting the protein expression of F-box protein 27 (FBXO27). Our findings indicate new roles of CREG1 in the development of diabetic cardiomyopathy.

      • Electrospun Sn-doped LiTi2(PO4)3/C nanofibers for ultra-fast charging and discharging

        <P>Sn-doped LiTi2(PO4)(3)/C composite nanofibers are synthesized by a facile electrospinning process. The unique one dimensional nanostructure combined with a uniform electrically conductive carbon matrix allows high-rate transportation of lithium ions and electrons. Besides, Sn-doping could further decrease the electrochemical resistance. Sn-doped LiTi2(PO4)(3)/C composite nanofibers exhibit excellent electrochemical performance, especially ultra-fast charging/discharge capability. At a charging rate of about 600 C (64 A g(-1), 6 s), 66.2% capacity (68.9 mA h g(-1)) could be obtained when matched with a Li metal counter electrode. They also exhibit excellent electrochemical properties as an anode material for aqueous rechargeable lithium batteries. Sn-doped LiTi2(PO4)(3)/C composite nanofibers are promising electrode materials for both nonaqueous and aqueous lithium ion batteries.</P>

      • Cervical Cancer Gene Therapy by Gene Loaded PEG-PLA Nanomedicine

        Background and Aims: Advances in the treatment of cervical cancer over the last decade have predominantly involved the development of genes directed at molecular targets. Gene therapy is recognized to be a novel method for the treatment of cervical cancer. Genes can be administered into target cells via nanocarriers. This study aimed to develop systemically administrable nano-vectors. Floate (Fa) containing gene loaded nanoparticles (NPs) could target HeLa human cervical cancer cells through combination with receptors on the cells to increase the nuclear uptake of genetic materials. Methods: Fa was linked onto Poly (ethylene glycol)-b-poly (D, L-lactide) (PEG-PLA) to form Fa-PEG-PLA, and the resulting material was used to load plasmids of enhanced green fluorescence protein (pEGFP) to obtain gene loaded nanoparticles (Fa-NPs/DNA). Physical-chemical characteristics, in vitro release and cytotoxicity of Fa-NPs/DNA were evaluated. The in vitro transfection efficiency of Fa-NPs/DNA was evaluated in HeLa cells and human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). PEG-PLA without Fa was used to load pEGFP from NPs/DNA as a control. Results: Fa-NPs/DNA has a particle size of 183 nm and a gene loading quantity of 92%. After 72h of transfection, Fa-NPs/DNA displayed over 20% higher transfection efficiency than NPs/DNA and 40% higher than naked DNA in HeLa cells. However, in HUVECs, no significant difference appeared between Fa-NPs/DNA and NPs/DNA. Conclusions: Fa-PEG-PLA NPs could function as excellent materials for gene loading. This nano-approach could be used as tumor cell targeted medicine for the treatment of cervical cancer.
