Likability, Image, and Visit Intention in the Korean Wave in Kazakhstan
Gauhar Uatay,Earl L. Reid,이해영 (사)한국조리학회 2018 한국조리학회지 Vol.24 No.7
In order to gain a deeper understanding of the influence of Hallyu in Kazakhstan, this study examined the influence of the likability of genres of Hallyu. Specifically, likability of Korean TV/dramas, Korean popular music and Korean cuisine were suggested as three main components that affect the image of Hallyu. Meanwhile, three types of likability were proposed and image were also differentiated into two types such as Hallyu image and country image. This study contributed to providing comprehensive managerial suggestions for the promotion of Hallyu through the verification of the different roles of likability on image and visit intention. This study further suggested a detailed communication plan for revitalizing genre-based likability. Data were collected through an online survey using Google Forms from Kazakh people who had experienced Hallyu. The results showed that the likability of each genre of Hallyu, as a whole, appeared to play an important role in significantly and positively affecting the overall image of Hallyu. The image of Hallyu then exhibited a positive influence on the image of Korea, which in turn resulted in a positive impact on visit intention. Various communication strategies and practical implications are further discussed.
Gaging Customer Response to Dawn Delivery Service Using Social Big Data
Gauhar Uatay,조동석,이해영 (사)한국조리학회 2020 한국조리학회지 Vol.26 No.2
The purpose of this study was to explore customer perceptions and impressions of dawn delivery services. Using big data from Naver blog posts, 11,048 texts were analyzed to predict customer emotions and satisfaction through keywords such as product, purchase, delivery, utilization, and price. The results of the association analysis found these factors to have a positive impact on customer emotions. Furthermore, the results provide insight on customer emotions related to specific brands of Korean dawn delivery services specifically Market Kurly, Coupang, and SSG. The findings identify areas of customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction for leading early morning delivery services. Specifically, Market Kurly and Coupang seemed to posses strong discounting systems, while SSG excelled in its refunding procedure. In addition, the level of information implemented by Market Kurly was found to play a negative role in customers’ emotions.

<P>Gynostemma pentaphyllum is widely used in Asian countries as a herbal medicine to treat dyslipidemia, type 2 diabetes and inflammation. An ethanol extract of G. pentaphyllum lessened obesity by activating AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). The levels of damulins A and B, components responsible for AMPK activation in the extract, were increased by autoclaving in a time-dependent manner. Heat-processed G. pentaphyllum extract, actiponin containing damulins A (0.93 %, w/w) and B (0.68 %, w/w), significantly stimulated fat oxidation and glucose uptake via AMPK activation in L6 myotube cells. Oral administration of actiponin to ob/ob mice for 8 weeks decreased body weight gain, liver weight, and blood cholesterol levels with AMPK activation in the soleus muscle. Our results demonstrate the beneficial effect of G. pentaphyllum on improving obesity and have elucidated the underlying molecular mechanisms.</P>

The purpose of this study was to make out the solo travel behavior paradigm of female travelers by examining the roles of different types of travel constraints that arise in the process of making travel decisions. Specifically, structural constraints, interpersonal constraints, and intrapersonal constraints were proposed as three negative factors that hinder female travelers’ solo travel. Results showed that interpersonal constraints negatively affect attitudes toward solo travel and travel intention. Intrapersonal constraints had a negative influence only on attitude toward solo travel, while structural constraints had no impact on both attitude toward solo travel and travel intention. The moderating role of cultural distance on the proposed relationships was also tested for more practical information. Results found that interpersonal constraints affect both attitude and intention to travel solo at high cultural distance, while structural constraints significantly impact solo travel intention at low cultural distance. Based on the relative importance of some constraints, various marketing strategies and directions were discussed.
In Vitro Antidiabetic Effects and Antioxidant Potential of <i> Cassia nemophila</i> Pods
Rehman, Gauhar,Hamayun, Muhammad,Iqbal, Amjad,Ul Islam, Saif,Arshad, Saba,Zaman, Khair,Ahmad, Ayaz,Shehzad, Adeeb,Hussain, Anwar,Lee, InJung Hindawi 2018 BioMed research international Vol.2018 No.-
<P>The antidiabetic and antioxidant potential of ethanolic extract of<I> Cassia nemophila</I> pod (EECNP) was evaluated by three in vitro assays, including yeast glucose uptake assay, glucose adsorption assay, and DPPH radical scavenging activity. The result revealed that the extracts have enhanced the uptake of glucose through the plasma membrane of yeast cells. A linear increase in glucose uptake by yeast cells was noticed with gradual increase in the concentration of the test samples. Moreover, the adsorption capacity of the EECNP was directly proportional to the molar concentration of glucose. Also, the DPPH radical scavenging capacity of the extract was increased to a maximum value of 43.3% at 80 <I>μ</I>g/ml, which was then decreased to 41.9% at 100 <I>μ</I>g/ml. From the results, it was concluded that EECNP possess good antidiabetic and antioxidant properties as shown by in vitro assays.</P>
Pathway Fractional Integral Formulas Involving Extended Mittag-Leffler Functions in the Kernel
Rahman, Gauhar,Nisar, Kottakkaran Sooppy,Choi, Junesang,Mubeen, Shahid,Arshad, Muhammad Department of Mathematics 2019 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.59 No.1
Since the Mittag-Leffler function was introduced in 1903, a variety of extensions and generalizations with diverse applications have been presented and investigated. In this paper, we aim to introduce some presumably new and remarkably different extensions of the Mittag-Leffler function, and use these to present the pathway fractional integral formulas. We point out relevant connections of some particular cases of our main results with known results.

Various extensions of the Euler’s beta function have, recently, been presented and investigated. Here, choosing to use a fully extended beta function, we introduce an extended hypergeometric function, an extended confluent hypergeometric function, and an extension of the Appell function F1. We, also, use the fully extended beta function to introduce an extended Riemann-Liouville type integral operator and investigate its associated formulas and generating relations. The results presented here, being very general, can be specialized to yield some known and new results.

We aim to establish certain Gronwall type inequalities associated with Riemann-Liouville k- and Hadamard k-fractional derivatives. The results presented here are sure to be new and potentially useful, in particular, in analyzing dependence solutions of certain k-fractional differential equations of arbitrary real order with initial conditions. Some interesting special cases of our main results are also considered.
ON A CERTAIN EXTENSION OF THE RIEMANN-LIOUVILLE FRACTIONAL DERIVATIVE OPERATOR
Nisar, Kottakkaran Sooppy,Rahman, Gauhar,Tomovski, Zivorad Korean Mathematical Society 2019 대한수학회논문집 Vol.34 No.2
The main aim of this present paper is to present a new extension of the fractional derivative operator by using the extension of beta function recently defined by Shadab et al. [19]. Moreover, we establish some results related to the newly defined modified fractional derivative operator such as Mellin transform and relations to extended hypergeometric and Appell's function via generating functions.

Purpose: To review safety and efficacy of robotic-assisted simple prostatectomy (RASP) compared to open simple prostatectomy (OP). Materials and Methods: A comprehensive literature search was performed to assess the differences in perioperative course and functional outcomes in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia and surgical indication. The incidences of complications were pooled using the Cochran–Mantel–Haenszel Method and expressed as odds ratio (OR), 95% confidence interval (CI), and p-values. Perioperative course and functional outcomes were pooled using the inverse variance of the mean difference (MD), 95% CI, and p-values. Analyses were two-tailed and the significance was set at p<0.05. Results: Eight studies were accepted. Meta-analysis showed significantly longer surgical time (MD, 43.72; 95% CI, 30.57–56.88; p<0.00001) with a significantly lower estimated blood loss (MD, -563.20; 95% CI, −739.95 to −386.46; p<0.00001) and shorter postoperative stay (MD, −2.85; 95% CI, −3.72 to −1.99; p<0.00001) in RASP. Catheterization time did not differ (MD, 0.65; 95% CI, −2.17 to 3.48; p=0.65). The risk of blood transfusion was significantly higher in OP (OR, 0.23; 95% CI, 0.17–0.33; p<0.00001). The risk of recatheterization (OR, 1.96; 95% CI, 0.32–11.93; p=0.47), postoperative urinary infections (OR, 0.89; 95% CI, 0.23–3.51; p=0.87) and 30-day readmission rate (OR, 0.96; 95% CI, 0.61–1.51; p=0.86) did not differ. At 3-month follow-up, functional outcomes were similar. Conclusions: RASP demonstrated a better perioperative outcome and equal early functional outcomes as compared to OP. These findings should be balanced against the longer operative time and higher cost of robotic surgery.
