      • Stellite 6 합금의 열간 압연 특성

        The aim of the investigation was to study the effect of hot working on the tensile properties of the Stellite 6 alloy, normally used in the form of castings. To determine most suitable hot working temperature, firstly specimens were preheated so as to obtain maximum deformation without cracking, upsetting tests were preformed at temperatures ranging from 1150 to 1300℃ at intervals of 50℃. As the result, the deformation of 35% without cracking is possible at 1250℃. Both cast and hot worked specimens were investigated microstructure, composition of carbides, constituting phase and hardness of specimens by using SEM and tensile test was carried out in order to know tensile properties of specimens. As the result of observing Microstructure, hot workings breakdowns eutectic carbide network in the Stellite 6 alloy, and eutectic carbides are aligned in rolling direction. The result of the tensile test, hot worked specimen is much higher than the casting specimen in the tensile properties.

        한국형 지역사회경찰활동의 발전방안

        이 논문에서는 우리나라 뿐 아니라 여러 국가에서 경찰활동으로 경찰개혁의 한 부분인 지역사회 경찰활동을 평가하기 위한 것이다. 특히 이러한 경찰활동이 지역사회와 지역주민들의 안전, 삶의 질에 어떠한 긍정적인 영향을 가져왔는지를 검증해 우리나라 실정에 알맞은 경찰개혁의 일부분으로서의 지역사회 경찰활동의 발전방향을 모색해 보고자 하는 것이 주된 목적이라 할 수 있다. 우리나라는 아직도 전통적 경찰활동 방식에 젖어 있어 지역사회 경찰활동에 대하여 부정적 견해를 보이고 있다. 그리하여 우리나라 경찰활동의 대부분은 사후 대응적인 역할에 머물러 있는 실정이다. 이러한 현상은 지역사회 경찰활동 개념에 대한 인식의 부족과 이에 대한 적절한 교육의 부재에서 그 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 따라서 우리나라에서 효율적인 경찰활동을 수행하기 위해서 선행요건으로 첫째, 경찰의 정치적 독립과 수사권 독립 둘째, 조직의 분권화 셋째, 경찰관의 역할 정립 넷째, 경찰의 이미지개선이 선행 되어야 한다. 이러한 선행요건으로 지역사회 경찰활동의 발전적 방안으로는 첫째, 지역경찰제의 활성화 둘째, 시민의 자발적 참여 유도 셋째, 자치단체 지역공공단체와 협력강화 넷째, 순찰의 내실화 다섯째, 시민경찰학교의 활성화를 통하여 지역사회 경찰활동을 하루 빨리 정착 시켜야 할 것이다. 물고기가 물을 떠나서는 살수 없듯이 경찰은 지역과 지역주민을 떠나서는 존재의 가치가 없다. 이러한 관계를 정확히 인식하고 지역주민들과 유기적 협조체제를 유지하는 ‘지역사회 경찰활동󰡑을 하루빨리 정착시켜 급변하는 현대사회에서 파생하는 각종 신종범죄에 효율적으로 대응하는 사회공존 협력체제를 만들어 보다 더 친절하고 공정한 경찰로 재탄생이 되어야 할 것이다. This article aims for evaluating the community policing as a part of police reform not only in Korea but also in other nations. Especially, this article focuses on examination of community policing whether it brought the positive effects on the safety and the quality of life in the community and their residents, and tries to find a desirable direction of community policing as a police reform. Korean still has a negative view of the community policing because they are get used to the traditional one. Most of the policing we receive remain, therefore, reactive. This present situation comes from the lack of perception on community policing and proper training and education of it. Accordingly, to perform the effective policing in Korea, at first, political and police prosecution independence of Police, second, the decentralization of police organization, third, the establishment on role of police, and the last, the improvement of image on police are needed to precede. Based on these factors, the revitalization of local police system and citizen police academies, the inducement of citizens's participation and the reinforcement of cooperation between local organizations and substance of patrol are indicated to settle down the community policing. Police won't be recognized unless they are not attached to the community and their residents. It is needed to perceive this relation and settle down the community policing, and it is also needed to recreate the kinder and fairer police consequently in rapidly changing modern society.

      • Fe-C-Cr-Mo-V계 공구강의 미세조직과 건식 긁힘 마멸 거동 (마모재 : Al₂O₃)

        High carbon- high chromium tool steels display a number of advantages in abr asive wear applications. They contain moderat e amounts of chromium that produces massive chromium- rich carbides in an austenitic matrix of sufficient hardenability to be transformed to martensit e with relatively simple heat treatment . In this study the role of vanadium- rich carbides with high hardness as well as chromium- rich carbides in improving abrasive wear resistance was investigat ed using a series of Fe- C- Cr -Mo- V system alloys with varying carbide volume fr action. The abr asive wear resistance of the alloys against Al₂O₃ harder than chromium- rich carbides but softer than vanadium- rich carbides was measured with a dry abrasive rubber wheel abr asion test. The abr asive wear resist ance was affected by a volume fraction and variety of carbide because of a differance of hardness between carbide and abrasive. As a result, The specimen with the most volume fraction of vanadium- rich carbide harder than Al2O3 had the mot excellent abrasive wear resistance.

        High carbon-high chromium tool steels display a number of advantages in abrasive wear applications. In this study the role of vanadium-rich carbides with high hardness as well as chromium-rich carbides in improving abrasive wear resistance was investigated using a series of Fe-C-Cr-Mo-V system alloys with varying carbide volume fraction. The abrasive wear resistance of the alloys against SiO2 softer than vanadium-rich carbide and chromium-rich carbide was measured with a dry abrasive rubber wheel abrasion test. The abrasive wear resistance was affected by a volume fraction and variety of carbide because of a differance of hardness between carbide and abrasive. As a result, The specimen with the most volume fraction of the total of carbide volume fraction had the most excellent abrasive wear resistance.

        인구구조의 변화와 노인문제

        The purpose of this paper is to analyze change of age structure and aging problems. According to NSO(The National Statistical Office), South Korea has become ahing society. The population of the aged is increasing rapidly as a result of better living conditions and the advancement medical technology. Meanwhile, TFR(Total Fortile Rates) is decreasing rapidly as a result of change of social environment, such as women's high educational level achievement and participation in economic activities, late marriage in life and transformation of women's life style. Population Aged 65 and Over(in thousands) and TFR Selected Years. (본문참조) Compared with other developed countries, the numbers of the aged is not yet serious problem in South Korea. South Korea has a strong tradition of family support for the elderly but now this has weakened family support. The central and local government is tasked with preparing a social safety net.

      • M_(7)C₃형 크롬탄화물의 경도에 미치는 고용원소(V, Mo, Mn)의 영향

        This study makes an investigation into the effect of dissolved alloy element (V,Mo,Mn) on hardness of the M_(7)C₃ type chromium carbide. Dis solved alloy element (V,Mo,Mn) content in M_(7)C₃ type chromium carbide was analyzed by EDS and micro- hardness of the M_(7)C₃ type chromium carbide was measured by micro- Vicker s hardness tester . Increasing to V, Mo content in specimen, result to increasing dissolved V, Mo content in M_(7)C₃ type chromium carbide. Also hardnes s of M_(7)C₃ type chromium carbide was increased. At this point , V added specimen was superior to Mo added specimen. According as Mn content in specimen increases , Mn cont ent in M_(7)C₃ type chromium carbide some increased but hardness in M_(7)C₃ type chromium carbide some decreased.

      • TMP의 감마 放射線分解에 있어서의 할로벤젠에 의한 Electron-scavenging에 關한 硏究

        TMP의 방사선분해에 의한 메탄과 수소생성을 electron-scavenger(halobenzene)의 거동으로 연구하였다. electron-scavenger는 메탄의 수율에 대해서는 미비한 효과였지만, 수소의 수율을 억제함을 알 수 있었다. Hummel의 실험식으로부터 얻은 실험적파라미터 α는 6.5ℓ/㏖였으며 ??+??의 값은 3.5를 얻었다. The formation of methane and hydrogen in the γ-radiolysis of TMP has been studied in the presence of an electron-scavenger(halobenzene). Electron-scavenger are found to depress the hydrogen yield and have only a slight effect on the methane yield. From Hummel empirical equation, empirical parameter(α) was obtain 6.5ℓ/㏖. The value of ??, ?? thus obtained are 3.5.

      • 사람 적혈구 막에 있어서 Carnitine acyltransferase 효소에 관한 연구

        사람 적혈구막에서 palmitoyl carnitine을 생성하는 효소계의 존재를 확인하였는데 이 효소계에 의해 palmitoyl coenzyme A와 DL-Carnitine(methyl-14C)으로부터 palmitoyl carnitine-14C이 생합성됨을 고찰하였고, 한편 이 효소계에 의해 화학적으로 합성한 palmitoyl-14C-carnitine이 palmitic acid-14C과 carnitine으로 가수분해됨을 확인하였다. 이 효소계에 의해서나 또는 화학적 방법에 의해 만들어진 palmitoyl carnitine은 적혈구막을 용해하며 이때 막에 부착된 효소계인 Adenosine Triphosphatase나 Glucose-6-phosphatase등이 활성화됨을 발견하였다. An enzyme system in human erythrocyte membrane was found to catalyze the formation of palmitoyl carnitine-14C from palmitoyl coenzyme A and carnitine-(methyl-14C). It was also confirmed that the same enzyme acts on the hydrolysis of palmitoyl-14C-carnitine into palmitic acid-14C and carnitine. Palmitoyl carnitine formed from this enzyme system or other chemical method solubilized the erythrocyte membrane and stimulated significantly the membrane bound enzymes, such as Adeno-sine Triphosphatase (ATPase) and Glucose-6-phosphatase (G-6-Pase) tried.
