This study explores the concept of place marketing ; what causes it, how regional government react to it and how region can influence it. The focus proposed differs from previous work by integrating the place marketing and regional, city brand. The determinants of place marketing are classified and strategies for place marketing are discussed.

원반회전 반응기에서 액체 분산 특성에 관한 연구

The liquid phase dispersion coefficient was investigated form measurements of trace input and output response signal in CuSo_4 solution. The data were obtained in the ranges of agitator speed from 35rpm to 50rpm, lipuid flow rate from 1300㎖/min to 1800㎖/min and impeller number from 1 to 3,respectively. The result showed that dispersion coefficient D_L were related linearly to superficial velocity agitator speed, and impeller number, respectively. The equation for the dispersion coefficient in Rotaing Disk reactor was expressed as D_L=1.4×10 exp(-6)U_s^(3.08)R^(4.35).

관절염 환자의 실태와 관련요인에 대한 분석적 연구

This study was conducted to examine the condition of patients with arthritis and its related factors. Data were collected from 100 people who suffered from arthritis in Seoul. Busan, Daegu, Daejun, Junjoo, and pohang from April 2, 2000 to July 31, 2000. The results of this study are summarized as follows : 1. 6L0% of the subjects were female. The incidence rate of arthritis was higher in the higher age group, lower educated group, and thinner group. In case of male, the incidence rate was higher in the groups of single, residents in big cities, and technicians. In case of female, it was higher in the groups of the married, residents in towns or villages, and housewives. 2. According to the parts of arthritis, knee joint covered 67.4% and backspine joint covered 9.0%. The incidence rate of arthritis was higher in the groups of forties, housewives, single, irreligious people, residents in towns and villages, primary school graduates, thin people, and walk exercisers. 3. The arthritis patients felt pain most when they stood up (31.5%). According to the time when they felt pain most, the time when they were active during daytime was 31.5% and nighttime was 29.8%. When they got up in the morning was 22.4%, while 10.9% felt pain all cay long. 4. they had arthralgia knees and cramp in crook of the knees (21.8%). Their knees ticked when they moved (21.1%). The had to rest hands on anyplace when they stood up (18.7%) and they could not completely unfold their knees. 5. The medical institutions which diagnosed them showed significant difference in the variables of sex, age, marital status, religion, place in residence, education level, economic status, obesity level, exercise, parts of arthritis, and posture of feeling pain. from above results, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop appropriate medical treatment on the basis of the respondents' socio-democraphic characteristics, pain parts, period of having a pain, satisfaction level with treatment and its related factors. Therefore, related professionals and organizations must develop education program for prevention of arthritis in order to educate them.

초음파를 이용한 교근의 단면두께 측정의 재현성에 대한 연구

Purpose : To determine if ultrasonography is a reliable technique to assess masseter muscle sites within intra- and interobserver and the scanning level and/or the muscle condition affect local cross-sectional dismension (LCSD) measurements of masseter muscle. Materials and Methods : 10 subjects without sign and symptom of temporomandibular disorders and missing posterior teeth were examined by ultrasonography. Bilateral ultrasonographic examinations were performed with a linear (B-scan) 7.5 MHz small-part transducer to register LCSDs of the masseter muscle on three different levels. Scans were made on relaxed and clenching condition. Three oral and maxillofacial radiologists measured at two sessions with a time interval of at least 5 minutes. Results : Variables such as ‘condition’ and ‘level’ had a significant effect on muscle measurements (p>0.05). There was no significant difference betwee‘sessions’(p>0.05) and ‘observers’(p>0.05). LCSDs on lower scan level were significantly thinner than those on upper and middle level. Those on clenching condition were significantly thicker than those on relaxed condition (p<0.05). The scanning level with the highest reproducibility was middle with clenching condition (ICC = 0.90, MSE = 0.55%). Conclusion : The data suggested that ultrasonography was a reliable method for measuring LSCD of masseter muscle in intra- and interobserver and middle scan level showed the most reliable data.

Double pyrolus, one of the relatively rare anomalies of the gastrointestinal tract, is a fistulous communication between the gastric antrum and the duodenal bulb. The first case of a double Pylorus was reported in 1969 by Smith, since then several cases have been reported. Recently, as the frequency of examining upper gastrointestinal series and endoscopy increases, it occurs more frequently and a few cases have been described in our country. According to the reports previously published, it resulted only from cysts, diverticla, atresia, band, membrane malformation of the pylorus, however, it might be also caused by penetration, complication of peptic ulcer. We report a case of double pylorus in a 67-year old man with prolonged administration of corticostetoids due to lumbago who has complained epigastric pain which was confirmed by endoscopy and biopsy.

간 낭종을 동반한 성인 다낭신 환자에서 간 낭종의 감염 1예

Adult polycystic kidney disease(APKD) usually accompanies with renal and extrarenal manifestations and liver cysts are present in aproximately 30% of patients with APKD. Kidney cysts often accompany with hemorrhage, rupture, infection, however, liver cysts are usually asymptomatic and do not impair liver function. Rare complication of liver cysts in patient with APKD include portal hypertension with bleeding esophageal varices and hepatic failure with encephalopathy. But, in APKD patient, infection of liver cysts without infection of renal cysts is extremely rare. We report a case of infected liver cyst in a patient with APKD who has complained generalized abdominal pain and high fever which was confirmed by ultrasound and aspiration. The patient was treated successfully with repeated aspiration and systemic antibiotics.

內燃機關 燃燒室내의 壓力測定에 관한 硏究

In the present study, the influence of the measuring apparatus to the analysis of the combustion is clarified. T재 measuring system used are ; 8-bit system and 12-bit system (composed of 12-bit A/D converter and 16-bit AT grade computer). It was shown that the 12-bit system gave more accurate and more reliable data for the combustion analysis than the 8-bit system.

퍼지제어를 이용한 유도전동기 드라이브의 효율 최적화

Efficiency optimization of an indirect vector controlled induction motor drive is proposed. The loss models are used in the validation of the fuzzy logic based on-line efficiency optimization control. At steady state, the fuzzy controller adaptively changes the excitation current on the basis of measured input power, until the maximum efficiency point is reached. The pulsating torque, due to flux reduction, has been compensated by an ingenious feedforward scheme. During transient state, rated flux is established, to get the best transient response. Through a comprehensive simulation study, the results confirmed the validity of the proposed method.

컨버터로 제어되는 유도전동기 드라이브 시스템의 손실 모델링

An accurate loss model of induction motor drive controlled by the converter is proposed. Steady state fundamental and hamonics loss characteristics, besides the dynamics of the machine are analyzed and incorporated in the model, resulting in a new synchronous frame dynamics d-q equivalent circuit. The converter system has been modeled accurately for condition and switching losses.

These environmental change required national financial institutions to be more competitive. As international rule especially by IMF(International Monetary Fund) came, Korean government and financial institutions have to pay special attention to following issues. ① The improvement of supervisory activity, especially coordination with The Bank of Korea, ② Introduction of advanced financial techniques and development of new financial goods and services, ③ Diversify financial institution's business activities so that increase international competitiveness, ④ Increase government's diplomatic efforts for international policy (especially with IMF) and actively participate in international economic fora.
