This paper presents the optimization of expanding velocity for tube expanding process in the manufacturing of a heat exchanger. In specific, the expanding velocity has a great influence on the performance of a heat exchanger because it is a key variable determining the quantity of tube expanding at assembly stage as well as a key parameter determining overall production rate. The simulation showed that the genetic algorithm used in this paper resulted in the optimal tube expanding velocity by performing the following series of iteration; the generation of arbitrary population for tube expanding parameters, consequently the generation of tube expanding velocities, the evaluation of tube expanding quantity using the pre-trained data of plastic deformation by means of a neural network, and finally the generation of next population using a penalty function and a Roulette wheel method.
Maypole Type 편조기의 Guide Track의 동적 모델링 및 해석

Braiding machines of maypole type complex guide tracks. It is not easy to speed up driers while carriers are moving at high speed. This paper presents a new design approach using dynamic analysis and modeling for moving carriers on the guided tracks. The proposed approach will be shown to be effective by using simulation tool, WORKING MODEL 2D^??, for high drivers on new models of braiding machines of maypole type.
Bezier Spline을 이용한 용접 로봇의 새로운 Weaving Motion 궤적 생성 알고리즘

In this paper, we propose a new weaving trajectory algorithm for the are welding of a articulated manipulator. The algorithm uses the theory of Bezier spline. We make a comparison between the conventional algorithms using Catmull-Rom curve and the new algorithms using Bezier spline. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated based on the MATLAB environment in order to illustrate its good performance. Through simulations, the proposed algorithm can result in high-speed and flexible weaving trajectory planning so that it s trajectory cannot penetrate into a base metal compared to the conventional algorithm using Catmull-Rom curve.

By the reason of increased demand of high productivity and quality, the manufacturer have an effort in many directions of a machine tool industries. Among there, we proposed method of decreasing displacement in MC(machining center). In other words, Quality related with vibration of a tool cutting products. For decreasing it, improved by optimizing a shape of the column-part and acceleration curves of motors In this paper we could find design factors has much influence on decreasing the displacement using the DOE(Design of Experiments) and optimized the level of the factors using ADAMS^(R) and MINITAB^(R). And we suggest optimized a acceleration curve using Matlab^(R).

A cycloidal curve is generated as the trajectory of a point rigidly connected to the circle that rolls over another circle. There are several examples of application of cycloidal gearing not only in instruments but in machines as well that show the strength of positions that are still kept by cycloidal gearing. This program includes three modules. In the initial data input module, the variables which are necessary to design of gear are inputted by user. In the analysis and design module, The informations on a gear tooth profile is gotten through analysis of gear and the tooth profile is drawn. and In the last module, NC code for cycloidal gear is producted by Biarc curve fitting with position coordinates of gear tooth profile and pressure angles.

본 연구의 목적은 골프웨어 소비자들을 대상으로 전반적은 구매행동(구매 시 상품선택요인의 중요도, 구매 시 정보원의 활용도, 아이템 소유현황, 구매목적, 구매횟수, 브랜드 선호도)의 특성을 연구하고 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 상품선택요인의 중요도와 정보원의 활용의 차이를 규명하는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 측정도구로는 선행연구들을 토대로 연구자가 수정ㆍ보완한 설문지를 사용하였고, 응답자의 구매 행동에 관한 문항과 인구통계적 특성 문항으로 구성되었다. 조사대상은 서울과 경기지역의 30대 미만에서 70대 이상까지 골프를 하는 남녀 소비자를 대상으로 총 530부의 설문지를 배부하여 그 중 452부를 본 연구의 최종 분석자료로 사용하였다. 자료의 분석을 위해 빈도분석과 백분율, Cronbach's α계수, 상관분석, t-test, 분산분석(ANOVA), Tukey's test 등의 통계분석기법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 골프웨어의 구매목적에서는 골프와 일상복으로 겸한다는 응답자와, 구매횟수에서는 계절이 바뀔 때마다 구매한다는 응답자가 가장 많았다. 인구통계학적 변인에 따라 구매 시 상품선택요인의 중요도와 정보원의 활동도에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. The purposes of the study were to understand general purchasing behavior of golf wear consumers and to figure out differences in purchasing behaviors and use of information according to demographic characteristics. As a measuring tool, the questionnaire was developed by the researchers based on previous studies. And the questionnaire consists of questions regarding purchasing behavior of golf wear consumers and demographical characteristics. The total of 530 questionnaires were distributed to male and female golfers, and 452 ones were used for the analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis, Cronbach's α coefficient, t-test, ANOVA and Tukey's test were used. The findings from the study were summarized as follows: 1) Golf wear was used as active golf wear as well as everyday casual wear. 2) There were differences in importance of merchandise selection factors according to consumers' demographic characteristics. 3) There were differences in use of information source when selecting golf wear as a merchandise according to consumers' demographic characteristics.

As personal computers are being developed, most softwares are based on window-based operating systems recently. The programmable logic controllers (PLC's) which are usually operated based on the DOS system should be adapted to the window-based environment in order to have the multi-tasking and flexibility of PLC programs. In this paper, the PLC driving programs which are based on the window-based operating systems are developed for the hardwares in which only DOS-based driving programs are being used currently.

Unmanned vehicles have to decide their velocities suitable for the paths which should be generated by the vehicles themselves, based on the kinematic and dynamic aspects of vehicles. For this purpose, this paper is to propose a mathematical modeling of turning trace for the cornering of an unmanned vehicle by using normal-tangent coordinates as well as extracting the characteristics of behavior for car drivers in cornering. In the proposed modeling, the limitations of velocity can be determined based on the knowledge that the handling of drivers means the control of radius of curvature. The proposed modeling can reduce computational load and generate turning angles and velocities suitable for the cornering of unmanned vehicles.
