      • CMC 溶液 氣泡塔에서의 Gas Hold-up 및 氣泡크기 分布

        Gas hold-ups, bubble frequency and bubble size distribution in a bubble column reactor were evaluated experimentally in CMC solutions (<1.0%) with the two-phase flow signal processor. Gas hold-ups were able to be described by the function of the superficial gas velocity, which was represented with Φ=aU_G^b where a=0.018 and b=0.764. Bubble frequency was increased with superficial gas velocity, but this phenomenon was reduced drastically in the higher concentrations of CMC by the results of bubble coalescence (slug flow). Bubble size distribution was corresponded quite well with the logarithmic normal distribution model.

        When a transmission congestion occurs in a special transmission line, system network is divided into two Zone. Korea Power System has especially the "Northward Flow". If Korea Power System should introduce the nodal prices, we would regard Korea Power System as two Zone system. The Similarity Index[1] is a good performance measure for the network reduction. It can be applied to the network reduction in the zone categorized by the nodal prices. This paper deals with a zonal reduction method based on the similarity indices. The proposed method was verified by IEEE 39 bus test system.

        In Conclusion, it is demanded that we throw away a fixed idea that commercial sports facilities are inferior and that we think its desirable direction of development and prepare a positive policy for it as a social physical education sports facility. We ought to not control it by using the laws of merrymaking businesses but consider the way to guide, assist, and encourage it at a dimension of Physical education development from seperate point of view as stated above. It Plays roles to replenish the shortage of public sports facilities especially in our country, So we first evaluate its roles to be being carried out and its performance limit properly and need to grasp newly the roles of public, private and commercial physical education and sports facilities in the whole organization of social physical education. While the national interests and demands in sports are being expended and accelerated nowadays, if commerical sports facilites are negleated in the contempt and indifference in the actual situation of these days, witout the reasonable conversion of conciousness of the people in the administration authorities about this or the propulsion of constrution of public facilities, the menbership free of menbers using facilities will inevitably soar, the approach of most general public enjoying sports to these facilities will be more difficults, and the alienated people from sports facilites may diffuse the conflict and stress caused by a remarkable contrast of the wealth of money by doing various kinds of antisocial and unadaptable behavior and by drinking too much enough to injure health. These make sports for participating and acting disappear and make sport for just hearing and Watching. This was happended severely in the past and it turns away the essence of soprts while the former is a conflict among castes caused by the superiority and inferiority of sports technics, but a phenomenon of these days is a conflict among castes caused by the distinction of the wealth of maney. This promotes the feelings of distance among people and misleads the vigor of living sports, the sports of our life.

      • Isolation and Transcriptional Expression of CuZn Superoxide Dismutase from Codonopsis lanceolata

        To investigate the defense mechanism against the abiotic stress, a cDNA clone encoding a CuZn superoxide dismutase (CuZnSOD) protein was isolated from a cDNA library prepared from tabroot mRNAs of Codonopsis lanceolata. The eDNA, designated ClSODCc, is 799 nucleotides long and has an open reading frame of 459 bp with a deduced amino acid sequence of 152 residues. The deduced amino acid sequence of ClSODCc matched to the previously reported CuZnSODs. Consensus amino acid residues (His-45, -47, -62, -70, -79, -119 and Asp-82) were involved in Cu-, Cu/Zn-, and Zn- binding ligands. The deduced amino acid sequence of ClSODCc showed high homologies (82%-86%) regardless of species. Expression of ClSODCc by oxidative stress was increased up to 1 h after treatment and declined gradually. Much earlier and stronger expression of ClSODCc was observed in the cold stress treatment.

        The separation of the cobalt ion and nickel ion was carried out which was based on the principle of coupling facilitated transport. The principle of coupling facilitated transport was developed and validated by predicting the cobalt ion and nickel ion fluxes through membrane as a function of hydrogen ion concentration in the feed solution, carrier concentration in the membrane, and content of metals ion in the feed solution, flow rate of the feed solution and acid concentration in the stripping solution. Diffusion coefficients of Co-di(2-ethyl hexyl) phosphoric acid and Ni-di(2-ethyl hexyl) phosphoric acid through polytetrafluroethylene membrane were 1.2×10^7㏖/sec and 5.5×10^8㏖/sec, respectively.

      • 미생물을 이용한 Gellan Gum 생성의 Kinetic에 관한 연구

        Polysaccharides produced microbially, have shown themselves to be commercially significant. The reasons for the commercial exploitation of these microbial polysaccharides is because of their unique physical and consistant chemical properties and regularity of supply. Gellan gum is a recently discovered extracellular polysaccaride. This is an anionic heteropolysaccharide that forms viscous solutions and can under certain conditions, form thermoreversible gels with characteristics similar to those formed by both carrigeenan and agar. The aspect of Gellan gum produced by Pseudomonas elodea were investigated under various concentration of carbon sources and nitrogen sources. Sucrose and glucose are used as carbon source, and Bacto-peptone, Promosoy and (NH_4)_2SO_4 are used as nitrogen source. The maximum Gellan gum production was obtained in the culture medium 30.0g/L glucose, 0.6g/L Promosoy at pH 6.6, 37℃. The molecular weight of Gellan gum was 5 × 10 exp (5) which was determined by gel permeation chromatography.

        The production of gluconic acid by Aspergillus niger KCTC 2119 was studied. The Optimal culture conditions, such as initial pH, temperature, inoculum size and medium composition were established. Maximum overall gluconic acid productivity, 0.13g/L · hr was obtained when the cultivation was carried out at 33℃ and initial pH 5.5 for 72 hrs, with medium containing 110g/L glucose, 0.5g/L (NH_4)_2SO_4, 0.2g/L KH_2PO_4, 1.0g/L MgSO_4·7H_2O, and 0.1g/L corn steep liquor. The metabolic parameters such as specific growth rate, cell and gluconic acid yields were estimated for process improvement.

        The studies on the phenomena of the third phase which appeared in the solvent extraction process of uranium ore processing were performed. The third phase was formed in the presence of phosphomolybdic acid and silicomolybdic acid, especially in reduced state. And its problem could be solved by treatment of solvent with celite 545 before recycling.

      • 韓國學生의 姿勢形成 調査硏究

        In order to study the postures of Korean students, 4,448 students who lives in urban and rural community were participated as subjects and examined by using New York State Posture Rating Test Method with taking photographs. The results were subdivied into postures of body parts, total posture score, leg types, and lateral deviation and analysed as follows. 1. Postures of body parts 1) Head Tilt For elementary and middle school students, the cases of tilted head were shown more frequently in urban than rural and the ratio of the case of the tilted head was increased as grade was higher. On the other hand, high school studends had the opposite tendency. 2) Uneven Shoulder Height For elementary school childs, higher grades had better condition than lower grades, however, for high school students, those in urban had more cases of uneven shoulder than those in rural and girls showed more deviations than boys. 3) Scoliosis Rural childs had more cases of scoliosis than urban childs, but there were no differences of middle and high school students. 4) Uneven Hip Height Urban and rural childs showed some cases of uneven hip which belonged to normal ranges. Middle and high school studedns werw nearly perfect in the hip height, therefore the condition seems to change as they grow older. 5) Pronated Ankles For this part, those in rural showed better conditions than those in ruban in all age groups and, especially high school third grade students were more satisfactory in rural than urban(84% vs 50%) 6) Forward Head Elementary and middle school students appeared to be satisfactory regardless of age, sex and district, however 32% of high school girl students had forward head. 7) Round Shoulders Many students had round shoulders and some of them revealed severe conditions, There were large differences between urban and rural students. 8) Trunk Hyperextension Generally, girls showed better conditions than boys in trunk posture and, for high school boy students, conditions were differed according to their grades. 9) Sagging Abdomen More cases of sagging abdomen were revealed in ruban that rural for elementary girl students(30% vs 14%). For middle and high school students, there were differences between sex, boys showing more cases than girls in middle school and girls in high school. 10) Lordosis There were differences between urban and rural for elementary childs and high school boy students, however no differences were detected in other groups. Mean degrees of lordosis had a tendency of increasing as the age grew. 2. Total Posture Score For elementary childs, both boys and girls showed differences between urban and rural(75.95 vs 70.73, 75.16 vs 82.42), and, in rural girls seems to be more satisfactory than boys in comparison between boys and girls(p<. 001). In middle school group, rural students appeared to be significantly(p<.05) better than urban students for both sex(83.88 vs 81.93, 75.93 vs 75.02) and the result was same for the high school group(86.52 vs 84.03, 80.07 vs 78.10) 3. Leg types For elementary childs, girls revealed more cases of bowlegs and knock-knee than boys(6% vs 8.2%, 20.5% vs 30.3%). In high school group, the girls in rural showed more cases of bowlegs than those in urban(29.7% vs 13.0%) and, the knokc-knee, the result was opposite(19.3% vs 28.4%). 4. Lateral deviation 1) Head Tilt In elementary group, 11% of boys and 6.3% of girls had lateral deviation and, for high school students, 3.6% of boys and 5.4% of girls showed the deviations revealing girls had more cases of deviation than boys. 2) Uneven Shoulder Height 1.8% of elementary boys and 0.5% of girls had uneven shoulder and totally 1.5% of high school students showed uneven shoulder height. 3) Scoliosis 15.5% and 17.4% of elementary boys and 21.6% and 20.7% of girls deviated to right and left respectively. Urban students showed general trends to leftward deviation while rural students showed rightward deviation. 4) Uneven Hip Height In this part of posture, they showed good conditions in all age, sex, and district.
