Effect of Ionizing Radiation on Rat Tissue: Proteomic and Biochemical Analysis

<P>Reactive oxygen species (ROS), generated by ionizing radiation, has been implicated in its effect on living tissues. We confirmed the changes in the oxidative stress markers upon irradiation. We characterized the changes in the proteome profile in rat liver after administering irradiation, and the affected proteins were identified by MALDI-TOF-MS and ESI-MS/MS. The identified proteins represent diverse sets of proteins participating in the cellular metabolism. Our results demonstrated that proteomics analysis is a useful method for characterization of a global proteome change caused by ionizing radiation to unravel the molecular mechanisms involved in the cellular responses to ionizing radiation.</P>
섬유종류 및 잔골재용적비에 따른 HPFRCC의 공학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

In general, concrete showed brittle fracture but HPFRCC(High Performance fiber reinforced cementitious composite) showed ultra high ductile behavior in the hardened state, because of the fiber bridging properties. So a variety of experiments have being performed to access the performance of HPFRCC recently. In this study, to develope HPFRCC with high ductility and strain capacity, effects of fiber types and sand volume fraction were investigated. And results of this study were as follows; · HPFRCC reinforced with PVA or hybrid fiber were superior to PP or singleness. · Effect of sand volume fraction on HPFRCC reinforced with PP was insignificant.
안전한 CALS/EC 서비스 구현을 위한 정보보호기술 표준화 전략

This paper is proposed the standardization strategy of security technology for secure CALS/EC service implementation after analyzing security technology in CALS/EC. In this paper, we discussed about security technology such as cryptography, digital signature, authentication technology and electronic payment protocol(SET) related CALS/EC. In addition to, we investigated why we need the standardization in CALS/EC security technology. According to the standardization, we will expect that compete other developed countries in global market and provide compatibility between heterogeneous systems or countries.

전자 부품의 일종인 LSI 패키지의 제조 과정에서 절연·방진·방습 등을 목적으로 수지 몰딩이 널리 사용되고 있는데, 냉각과정에서 금속과 수지의 계면에 접합 잔류열응력이 발생하여 파괴의 원인이 되고 있다. 접합 잔류열응력의 측정에는 X선 회절법등이 사용되지만 측정상의 어려움과 계면단 응력특이성에 대한 해석의 곤란함 때문에 적절한 모델링에 따른 수치해석적 연구가 새로이 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Al/Epoxy를 몰딩 접합한 세가지의 대표적인 계면 형상을 선정하여 계면에서의 잔류열응력을 경계요소 수치 해석 및 스트레인 게이지를 이용한 실험을 통하여 각각 해석하였다. 수치해석과 실험결과는 정상적으로 잘 일치하였으며, 서브 요소를 사용하므로써 계면단 응력 특이성의 해석 정밀도를 향상시킬 수 있었다. 또한 접합 잔류열응력의 해석결과로부터 수직응력에 의한 계면 박리가 예상되고, 피착체의 두께가 증가할수록 응력 특이성이 강하게 나타남을 확인하였다. In general residual stress is measured by X-ray diffraction method but in case of bonding residual thermal stress it is inadequate technique to examine the stress singularity. Therefore Two-dimensional elastic boundary element analyses were carried out to investigate the residual thermal stress and stress singularity of bonding interface in Al/Epoxy. This boundary element results were compared with the strain gauge measurements. The effects of different interface models, sub-elements and adherend thickness are presented and discussed. On the basis of the obtained results, interface delamination causing by normal stress is expected and stress singularity is observed more intensively increasing with adherend thickness. It is concluded that the bonding strength of Al/Epoxy interface can be estimated correctly by taking into account the stress singularity at the edge of the interface.
축구선수와 아이스하키선수의 슬관절 부위의 등속성 근력의 특성

The purpose of this study was to compare characteristcs of isokinetic muscle strength between soccer and ice-hocky players each 10 subjects. This measurment was included peak torque, angle of peak torque, accl.time, total work, average power, set total work and endurance ratio in knee joint using cybex in velocity of 60˚ /sec and 240˚ /sec. The results were following : 1. The soccer players group was significantly(p<.05) higher than ice-hockey players croup in peak toque of extensor and flexor of both leg of 60˚ /sec and only left leg in 240˚ /sec. 2. Significant difference was found in angle of peak torque between two group in both in right and left legs of 240 ˚/sec when they extend, but no significant difference was found when they flex. 3. No significant difference was found in both flexor and extensor regardless of the angle speed. 4. The soccer players grouts was significantly(p<.05) higher than ice-hockey players group in total work, average power and set total work. 5. Significant difference was found in endurance ratio between two grouts in right leg of 60˚ /sec and 240 ˚/sec in flextion and extention but not in left leg. The results is suggested that subjects of present study show very high extensor and flexsor strength of legs, and the cause of muscle strength difference between two groups is considered speciality of sports including exercise time, using agonist and training method etc.
