        반복성, 다의성, 그리고 문장분해

        Lee, Chong-min (1994) Recursivenes, ambiguity, and sentence complexity. Linguistics, vol. 2. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the sentence complexity, focussing on the structrural recursiveness and ambiguity. When a person starts to understand the comprehension process of complex sentences, the two factors of recursion and ambiguity should be resolved for a fuller contextual information. Further, the principle of disambiguation is proposed to account for the technical strategies of complex sentences.

        Propofol 마취와 Enflurane 마취간의 인지기능 및 정신운동기능의 회복에 관한 비교

        Backgrounds: For out-patient anesthesia a safe and rapid postoperative recovery, especially, the full recovery of psychological function for $quot;street fitness$quot; has become increasingly important. Up to the present, the scoring system - Steward postanesthesia recovery score - has been frequently used for the decision of discharge. But this system focuses on recovery of vital signs, other objective tests are needed to investigate cognitive and psychomotor function which is suitable for estimation of $quot;street fitness$quot;. Methods: The propofol group(n=70) received fentanyl 0.8 ㎍/kg followed by propofol I mg/kg for anesthesia induction. Continuous propofol infusion was initiated upon induction. Ventilation was supported with N₂O-O₂ mixture. The enflurane group(n=70) was induced with sodium thiopental 4 mg/kg. 2.0 vo1% of enflurane with N₂O-O₂ mixture was initiated immediately upon induction. Both group received vecuronium 0.08 mg/kg as muscle relaxants. We measured Steward postanesthesia recovery score as scoring sm and seven kinds of parameters as cognitive and psychomotor function test. The tests were performed at three measurement points; the day before the operation and 30, 60 minutes after extubation. Results: By the scoring system, no difference in recovery score at postop. 60 min. could be found between two groups. But by the cognitive and psychomotor function test, propofol group showed significantly better recovery than enflurane group at all tests, reaching control values at postop. 60 min. Conclusions: The scoring system is not suitable method for decision of discharge, thus cognitive and psychomotor function test should be performed for $quot;street fitness$quot; after outpatient anesthesia. Propofol was associated with less impairment in cognitive and psychomotor function than enflurane.

        열처리에 따른 CVD Cu 박막의 미세구조 및 전기 비저항의 변화

        열처리에 따른 Cu 박막의 미세구조 및 전기 비저항의 변화를 조사하였다. Cu(hfac)(TMVS)를 원료로 하는 저압화학증착법에 의해 증착온도를 160℃에서 330℃까지 변화시키면서 TiN 기판 위에 Cu 박막을 제조하였고 450℃에서 30분간 열처리하였다. 증착온도에 따라 표면이 평평한 Cu 박막을 형성하는 표면 반응제한지역과 표면이 거친 Cu 박막을 형성하는 물질전달제한지역이 관찰되었다. 열처리 후 Cu 박막은 전체적으로 표면이 평탄해졌고 결정립의 크기는 모든 증착온도에서 증가하였는데 그 편차 역시 증가하여 EM 저항성 측면에서는 큰 효과를 보이지 못할 것으로 판단된다. 비저항은 증착온도 200℃에서 급격히 증가하였고 열처리 후에는 모든 증착온도에서 비저항이 감소하였는데 표면반응제한지역에서는 결정립 성장에 의한 약간의 비저항 감소를 보였으나 물질전달제한지역에서는 응집에 의해 Cu 결정립간의 전기적 연결 상태가 향상되어 급격한 비저항 감소를 보였다. The effects of the thermal annealing on the microstructure and the electrical resistivity of the copper films were studied. Copper film was prepared on TiN substrate by the low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) using Cu(hfac)(TMVS) as the precursor at the deposition temperature between 160 and 330℃, and then annealed at 450℃ for 30 min. There were two distinct temperature regions, one is the surface reaction limited region, producing smooth surfaced copper film, and the other is the mass transport limited region which produces rough surfaced film. After annealing, the surfaces of the copper films had tendency to become smooth, and the grain size enlarged in all deposition temperature regions. However, the deviation of the grain size was increased too much to improve the EM resistance. The electrical resistivity showed a rapid increase at the deposition temperature of 200℃. After annealing, the resistivity of the copper film deposited in the surface reaction limited region decreased slightly by the grain growth, but ones deposited in the mass transport limited region decreased drastically by coalescence of the grains, causing the improvements of the electrical connections among copper grains.

        메시지 프레이밍 효과에 대한 재고찰: 개인적 관여도와 상황적 관여도의 조절효과 비교를 중심으로

        This study aims to compare the direction of moderating effects of person-oriented enduring involvement versus situation-oriented(situational) involvement in the message framing contexts(gain vs. loss). This study argues that the directions of moderating effects of these two different types of involvement would be different. This difference is based upon the different role of enduring and situational involvement in information processing. Situational involvement plays a role of motivation and ability together in information processing while enduring involvement plays only a role of motivation. For testing the hypotheses, two experiments were conducted. The findings appeared to be consistent with our grand expectation that enduring involvement and situational involvement differently moderate message framing effects with respect of the directions. Yet the detailed findings revealed to be a little bit mixed or complicated. This study discussed intensively in these regards. 본 연구의 목적은 메시지 프레이밍에 미치는 개인적 관여도와 상황적 관여도의 조절효과를 비교하는 데에 있다. 본 연구는 개인적 관여도와 상황적 관여도가 일반 정보처리 과정에서 보여주는 상이한 역할에 근거하여, 이러한 차이가 메시지 프레이밍 상황에서도 상이한 조절효과를 보일 것이라 상정하고 있다. 부연하면, 일반적으로 상황적 관여도는 정보처리과정에서 동기와 능력의 역할을 동시에 수행하고 있는 반면에 개인적 관여도는 동기의 역할만을 수행하는 것으로 보고 있기 때문이다. 가설검증을 위해 두 차례의 실험이 실시되었다. 실험 결과는 전반적으로 본 연구가 상정했던 대로 두 관여도의 상이한 조절효과를 발견할 수 있었다. 하지만 세부적으로 볼 때 연구 결과가 다소 복잡하게 얽혀 있는 것으로 나타났다.

      • 이성의 타락 : Blake의 The Book of Urizen에 관한 연구 A Study on Blake's The Book of Urizen

        The Book of Urizen is one of 'The Lambeth Books' which are "Blake's first complete attempt to state, by means of an explicit myth, the silmultaneity of cosmic. historical and psychological events." It is "an attack on legalism in thought and religion," in the form of a myth designed as the Genesis of Blake's 'Bible of Hell' and describing the Creation and th Fall. Its central theme is that the Creation is not the beginning of existence(for all things are eternal) but a consequence of teh Fall. The Fall is the process of division of the original unity which is caused by teh selfish act of a portion of a whole, which is a disruptive act in any whole, individual, social, or cosmic, because it is the agent of isolation. The protagonist of this book is Urizen(Reason), who is fallen through the separation from Los(Imagination). And the fallen Los is divided from his Emanation Enitharmon because of Pity, one of Blake's negative and suspicious virtues. The consequence of this Fall is the Creation of this physical world and the beginning of Science and Religion. The aim of this thesis is to illuminate the meaning of the Creation and the Fall, the nature of the fallen Reason and Imagination and of Energy(Orc) as a possibility of regeneration, and the concept of Science and Religion illustrated in The Book of Urizen.

      • 수은(Hg)에 노출된 토마토 유모에 있어서 Ascorbic acid 산화에 대한 Anthocyanin의 항산화 기능

        토마토(Lycopersin esculentum) 유묘을 Hg에 노출시켰을 때 줄기와 잎에서 anthocyanin농도의 증가가 관찰되었으며, anthocyanin은 Hg에 의한 ascorbic acid의 산화를 억제하였다. 이러한 실험결과들은 anthocyanin의 Hg의 독성효과에 대항하여 Hg와 복합체를 형성하여 항산화제로서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있으며 ascorbic acid도 이러한 반응을 촉진시킬 수 있음을 보여준다. Mercury exposure caused an overall increase of anthocyanins in stems and leaves of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) seedlings. Furthermore, mercury increased the oxidation of ascorbic acid, and the oxidation reaction was suppressed by addition of anthocyanin. Our results suggest that anthocyanin not only chelates Hg ions, but also forms an ascorbic acid-metal-anthocyanin complex, which could be the possible protection mechanism from Hg-induced phytotoxicity.

        This paper aims to illuminate the syntax of word order, focussing on the examples rather than the theoretical arguments. From the view of pedagogical grammar or contemporary traditional grammar, the principles of end-weight is proposed like the following : that is, a heavy constituent tends to be placed towards or at the end of a sentence. The notion of a heavy element or constituent is adopted to refer to the long and complex phrase in a sentence. The principle of end-weight is one of those which determine the word order of English ; there are other principles such as the principle of given-new information, the principle of end-focus, the principle of natural word order, etc. (Lee 1987). We discuss extraposition constructions, heavy-NP shift structures and symmetrical sentences.

        접촉각 측정에 의한 사이즈 분석

        접촉각(Contact Angle)이란 액체가 고체표면 위에서 열역학적으로 평형을 이룰 때 형성하는 각을 의미하며, 고체와 액체 사이에서 이루는 접촉각의 측정은 접착, 표면처리, 폴리머 표면 분석과 같은 많은 분야에서 잘 알려진 기술이다. 이러한 접촉각은 종이의 내수성에 대한 정밀한 예측을 가능하게 하는데 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 접촉각 자동 측정 시스템(AMS-2001)은 종이에 부여된 내수성을 종이 시료 상에 형성된 접촉각 측정을 통하여 정량화 할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 AMS-2001을 이용하면 사이징 처리된 종이의 접촉각, 발수각, 액적의 폭, 지름, 표면장력 등을 측정할 수 있었고, 액적이 변화되는 모양을 디지털 화상을 통하여 추적할 수 있었으며 또한 기존의 Stockigt 실험 방법과 거의 유사한 재현성 및 신뢰성을 나타낼 수 있었다. The contact angle formed by a droplet of water used to estimate a repellency property of paper. The conventional systems measuring a contact angle are based on a manual measurement of the angle by a 3-point determination such as a far-left or far-right point, and a top point of a water droplet on a sample sheet. Thus the manual method to analyze a water repellency property can be greatly affected by an operator's bias. The new method to measure a sizing degree by a contact angle was developed using an automatic determination of 3-end point coordinates of the water droplet, which could diminish the operator's bias during measurement. The system could also quantify width and height of a water droplet, a surface tension of a solid specimen, and a time elapsed during complete absorption of water into a sheet. Finally, the values measured by the system were quite reproducible and reliable.

      • 한라산 경사면의 일사량 및 기온 추정 모형

        A prototype air temperature and solar irradiance simulation model was developed to predict the distribution pattern over the slope of Mt. Halla in Chejudo. The model is based on potential effects of major topo-geographical factors on hourly air temperature derived from principal component analysjs multiple regression analysis. Although the model outputs were not validated yet, the precision based on 1km by 1km grid and small RMS error show a feasibility for practical applications to diverse economic activities in Cheju Island.
