Ni(Ⅱ)와 그의 Dibenzoylmethane 착물의 환원반응에 관한 전기화학적 연구

DMF에 녹아있는 Ni(Ⅱ) 이온과 Ni(DBM)₂착화합물에 대한 순환 전압-전류곡선과 폴라로그램을 측정하여 이들의 전기화학적 특성을 조사하였다. 아울러서 이들은 수은 전극 표면에서 환원되는 전극반응의 반응구조를 제안하였다. Electoechemical behavior of Ni(Ⅱ) ions and bis-(benzoylmethan-ato) Ni(II) complex in dimethylformamide was studied on mercury electrode by means of cyclic voltammetry and polarography. The reduction mechanism of each electroactive species is also deduced from the kinetic data.

나피온을 백금전극의 표면에 입힌 뒤, 황산 산성용액에서 아닐린을 전기화학적으로 산화시켜 폴리아닐린-나피온 공중합체(copolymer)를 합성하였다. 이 고분자 막의 전극중합에 영향을 주는 요인, 산화 및 성장 반응구조, 성장한 고분자 막의 전기화학적 거동을 순환 전압-전류법(cyclic voltammetry)을 통하여 연구하였다. 또한 고분자 막의 전기화학적 응용 가능성을 조사하기 위해 수소 이온에 대한 감응 정도를 유리전극과 비교하였다. Kinectics of electrochemical polymerization of aniline on a Nafion-coated platinium electrode in aqueous sulfuric acid solutions was studied by means of cyclic voltammetry and kinetic measurements of anodic oxidation. The optimium conditions for polymerization of aniline, the polymerization mechanism, and the products of degradation reaction were suggested. The use of polyaniline electrode as a pH-electrode was also investigated.
Electrochemical Studies on Oxidation of Aniline in Apueous Acidic Solutions

Kinetics of electrochemical oxidation of aniline on a platinum electrode in acidic aqueous solutions was studied by means of cyclic voltammetry and kinetic measurements of anodic oxidation. Aniline molecule appeared to be initially oxidized via two-electron transfer to produce oxidized deprotonated aniline ion (φ-NH??), which subsequently undergoes nucleophilic attack by the parent aniline and results in head-to-tail coupling to yield a dimerized species. Because of easier oxidation of this dimeric species in comparison to aniline, polymerization readily propagates through further oxidation via two-electron transfer, which is followed by coupling with non-oxidized monomer and concurrent expulsion of a proton. Then, under the oxidation-potential region of aniline, the propagation of polyaniline-film occurs through aniline oxidation and through polyaniline oxidation that occur compertitively.
Electrochemical Reduction of Nitrobenzene and Substituted Nitrobenzenes on Lead Electrode

Electrochemical reduction of nitrobenzene and substituted nitrobenzenes on lead electrode was studied by galvano-static measurements and cyclic voltammetry in basic ethanol-water solvents. Nitroso compounds or hydroxylamines were detected as the main reduction product depending on the potential. Mechanisms of production and further reduction of substituted and unsubstituted nitrosobenzenes are deduced from Tafel slope, pH dependence and reaction order. The reduction of most of the substituted nitrobenzenes to corresponding nitrosobenzene derivatives seemed to follow the reaction mechanism of nitrobenzene reduction with a few exceptions. A Hammett type relationship between the magnitude of the reduction current and the kinds of substituents was found with the ${\rho}$ value of 0.54.
Electrochemical and Spectrophotometric Studies on Polyaniline and its Degradation

A spectroelectrochemical study on the redox chemistry of polyaniline (PANI) was carried out by using indium-tin oxide (ITO) transparent electrode in aqueous acidic solutions. Three different PANI-derived species were observed depending on the potential. The most highly oxidized species having alternating benzenoid-quinoid structures degraded through hydrolysis reaction. The degradation products were confirmed to be p-benzoquinone (BQ) and p-diaminobenzene (PDAB) by spectrophotometry anld potentiostatic experiments. Finally, a degradation mechanism is deduced from the observed behaviour.

정류상태(steady state)와 과도상태(transient state)의 Tafel 기울기, 순환 전압-전류 곡선, 임피던스 측정자료에 기초하여 인공해수에서 구리의 부식과 부동화에 대한 반응 메커니즘을 제안하였다. 구리의 산화환원 반응은 인공해수에서의 산소농도와 전극전위에 의존함을 알 수 있었다. Based on the cyclic voltammograms, potentiodynamic polarizations, transient and steady state Tafel plots and electrochemical impedence spectroscopy, we proposed the copper redox mechanism of the corrosion and passivation in artificial sea water. The copper redox mechanism showed the dependence of the concentration of oxygen in artificial sea water and electrode potentials.
