      • 제2형 당뇨병 환자에서의 지속적 피하 인슐린 주입 치료시 관해

        Background: It is well known that chronic hyperglycemia can deteriorate pancreatic beta cell function and insulin sensitivity in animal and human studies, and the normalization of blood glucose can reverse them. Our purpose of the study was to investigate the remission pattern after treating patients with continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) therapy, and compare the clinical characteristics of remitted and non-remitted patients in a retrospective way. Methods: We selected 91 type 2 diabetic patients who had been admitted to KonKuk University hospital from January 1993 to August 1993. After hospitalization, all subjects were treated with insulin pump (Sooil, Seoul, Korea) for intensive blood glucose control until remission occurred. Remission is defined as long-term good glycemic control without any medication. After fifteen to seventeen months of CSII therapy, the induction of remission was examined. Serum c-peptide levels, hemoglobin A1c, and serum lipid profiles were measured after hospitalization and before discharge. Results: Overall 34.4% of all subjects had remission after 53.6±38.9 days of CSII therapy and remission lasted for average 13.6 ± 8.9 months during the study periods. Some clinical characteristics of the patients prior to CSII therapy influenced the remission occurrence. The remission was more frequently induced when patients started CSII therapy with insulin pump in younger age, higher body mass index, shorter diabetic duration, lower post-prandial blood glucose levels, higher post-pandial serum c-peptide levels, and less chronic diabetic complications. Conculsion: These findings suggest that long-term CSII therapy can induce remission in a significant proportion of mild type 2 diabetic patients. Thus, it is desirable that the intensive insulin treatment by CSII is considered as not the last treatment., but an initial management of mild type 2 diabetic patients.

        New cephalosporin antibiotics, 7-[(3,4-dihydro-6-methoxycarbonyl-2,2-dimethyl-2H-1,4-thiazin-3-yl 1-oxide) -acetamido]-3-heterocyclothiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid derivatives (2a-2d) were synthesized. Anti-bacterial activities of these new cephalosporin derivatives and the relationship between their stucture and their activities were examined. Among them, 7-[3,4-dihydro-6-methoxycarbonyl-2,2-dimethyl-2H-1,4- thiazin-3-yl1-oxide)acetamido]-3-[(2-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-5-yl)thiomethyl]-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid exhibited the broad antibacterial activities against Gram(+) and Gram(-) bacteria.

        We have performed a 3D-QSAR/ CoMFA analysis of the cytotoxiv activities of thirty-five 3-arylisoquinoline derivative against SK-OV-3 tumor cell line. The results suggested that the electrostatic, steric and hydrophobic factors of 3-arylisoquinoline were strongly correlated with the antitumor activity. Considerable predictive ability (cross-validated r2 as high as 0.841) was obtained through CoMFA.

        objective: Among the patient who injured by traffic accident, they complaint decreased cognitive functioning from severe traumatic brain injury and mild traumatic brain injury such as 'post-concussional syndrome' to 'compensation neurosis' But Physicions ignore the evaluation and treatment of the patient with mild traumatic brain injury and no head trauma history who complaint cognitive disturbance, because they are tend to considered as malingering or 'compensation neurosis'. In this study, the authors evaluated cognitive functioning of the patient with post-traumatic stress disorder who were admitted by traffic accident and were no evidence of head trauma. method : Among the thirty patients who were admitted by traffic accident in Soonchunhyang university hospital, authors selected the patients that 1) had no evidence of head trauma, and 2) have no prominent faking-bad attitude, and 3)have the symtomatology of posttraumatic stress disorder. The number of the selected patient was eighteen, and authors performed physical and psychiatric examination including computed neuropsychological test. results : the result of computed neuropsychological test, thirteen patients had mild attention impariment and, six patients had impairment of immediate recalling, ten patients had mild visuoperceptual disablilty. conclusions : In this study, some patients with posttraumatic stress disorder had impaired attention, immediate recalling, visuoperceptual functioning in computed neuopsychological test.

      • 벡터제어를 이용한 표면형 영구자석 동기전동기의 최대효율제어

        In general, surface type permenent magent synchronous motor is controlled by the i_d=0 control method for producing maximum torque per ampere below the rated speed. And it is controlled by the field-weakening control method in order to expand the operating speed limits. However, these control methods do not consider the efficiency. So it is required to minimize the loss. This paper proposes a maximum efficiency control algorithm for surface type permanent magnet synchronous motors. The proposed maximum efficiency algorithm is derived from minimizing the core loss and copper loss. In this method the optimum d-axis current is supplied by the vector controller which solves the maximum efficiency control algorithm. From the computer simulation and experimental results. the improvement of the efficiency with the proposed control system was confirmed.

        두부회전에 따른 측모두부방사선 계측치의 변화

        본 연구는 측모두부방사선사진 촬영시 발생될 수 있는 두부회전이 측정된 선, 각계측치들에 어느 정도의 투사오차를 야기시키는지 알아보기 위해 조선대학교 의과대학 해부학교실에 소장중인 건조두개골 중 비교적 상태가 양호하고 특별한 비대칭이 없는 영구치열기의 건조두개골 17개를 표본으로 선택하여 시행하였다. 각각의 건조두개골을 수직축(Z축)을 중심으로 기준위치(0˚)에 대해 1˚ 간격으로 ±15˚ 까지 실험적으로 회전시켜 총 527장의 측모두부방사선사진을 촬영하였다. 이를 근거로 기준위치(0˚)에서의 계측치와 각 회전각에서의 계측치들 사이에 paired t-test를 시행하여 측모두부방사선사진 계측치 간의 차이를 규명하였으며, 이를 통해 투사오차의 관점에서 교정학적으로 유용한 측모두부방사선 계측항목을 구한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1.각계측항목이 선계측항목에 비해 투사오차가 작았다. 2.각계측항목은 정중시상면에 위치한 기준점들을 많이 포함할수록 투사오차가 작았다. 3.수평선계측항목의 길이는 필름방향으로 회전됨에 따라 점진적으로 감소되었으나, 초점 방향으로 회전됨에 따라서는 증가되다가 감소되었으며 상대적으로 그 변화양이 작았다. 4.두부회전에 따른 투사오차는 수직선계측항목에 비해 수평선계측항목에서 컸다. 5.수직선계측항목은 회전축으로부터 거리가 증가함에 따라 투사오차가 증가하였다. 이상을 종합해 볼 때 두부회전에 따른 측모두부방사선사진 계측치의 투사오차를 최소로 하기 위해서는 선계측항목보다는 각계측항목을 사용하는 것이 유용할 것으로 사료된다. This study was performed to find out the effect of projection errors on cephalometric linear and angular measurements according to head rotation during taking lateral cephalometric radiographs. Seventeen skulls with permanent dentition and no gross asymmetry were obtained from the Department of Anatomy, Medical School, Chosun University. Total 527 x-ray films were taken with 1˚ interval from the reference position(0˚) to ±15˚ around the vertical axis (Z axis) which is perpendicular to the midpoint of the line connecting the center of two ear rods in submento-vertex direction. Statistical analysis was performed by faired t-test if there were statistically significant differences between the mean of the reference position(0") and that of each rotation angle. The following results were obtained. 1.The projection errors of angular measurements were smaller than those of linear measurements. 2.The projection errors of angular measurements including midline landmarks were smaller than those including bilateral landmarks. 3.The horizontal linear measurements were gradually decreased when the skull was rotated toward the film, but slightly increased and then decreased when the skull was rotated toward the focal spot. However, the changes were smaller in focal direction. 4.The projection errors of horizontal linear measurements were larger than those of vertical linear measurements. 5.The projection errors of vertical linear measurements were increased with increased distance from the rotation axis to vertical measurements. It is concluded that the use of angular measeurements rather than linear measurements is recommended to minimize the projection errors.

        The purpose of this study was to analyze international contest levels and the competition techniques traits of each category, individual scoring - losing techniques of world elite judokas who were awarded in the international judo tournaments (I.J.T.) (part 1: ~O.G '96, part 2 :from O.G '96 to July, 2000), and who are expected to participate in the 27th Olympic Games(O.G.) Sydney 2000 to prepare the 27th O.G. which will be held from 16. to 22. September 2000 at Exhibition (Center, Darling Harbour, in Sydney, Australia The records of the results and contents of competition were obtained out of (115 for man,) I.J.T., world elite judokas. To decide individual contest levels, groups were derided into 3(A,B,C)groups and points were graded by 3 ways. The I.J.T. that were derided into 3 groups are shown in the table 1.

        Microwave Dielectric Properties of Ti-Te system Ceramics for Triplexer Filter

        In this study, the compositions for the microwave dielectric materials were investigated to obtain the improved dielectric properties, the high temperature stability, and the sintering temperature of less than $900^{\circ}C$, which was necessary for cofiring with the internal conductor of silver. In addition, the dielectric sheets were prepared by the tape casting technique, after which the sheets were laminated and sintered. In this process, the optimum ratio of powder and binder, laminating pressure, temperature, and possibility for cofiring with the internal conductor were studied. Finally, multilayer chip treplexer filter for the 800-2,000 MHz range were fabricated, and the frequency characteristics of the triplexer filter were investigated. When the $0.6TiTe_3O_8-0.4MgTiO_3+3wt%SnO+7wt%H_3BO_3$ ceramics were sintered at $820^{\circ}C$ for 0.3 hours, the microwave dielectric properties of the dielectric constant of 29.91, quality factor of 33,000 GHz, and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of -2.76 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ were obtained. Using the Advanced Design System (ADS) and High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), the multilayer chip triplexer filter acting at the range of 800-2,000 MHz were simulated and manufactured. The manufactured triplexer filter had the excellent frequency properties in the CDAM800, GPS and PCS frequency regions, respectively.

        Design of the Crab label tag with a loop matching feed and a modified dipole structure at 900 ㎒

        The Crab label tag with a loop matching feed and a modified dipole antenna structure was proposed. The antenna impedance is conjugated easily to a radio frequency identification IC chip impedance by a loop matching feed. The reading range of the crab structure tag is 0.9?1.0 m from the upper side of the formula milk can lid. The fabricated label tag size is 44.0 × 44.0 ㎟. The operating frequency at -3 ㏈ return loss is 861.0?929.0 ㎒, and the maximum reading range at the anechoic chamber is 1.5 m.
