        Graphene Oxide Nanoplatelets Grafted Jute Fibers Reinforced PP Composites

        To improve mechanical and thermal properties of jute fibers (JFs) reinforced polypropylene (PP) composites, asurface treatment method by grafting graphene oxide nanoplatelets (GONPs) onto JFs was developed. The GONPseffectively enhanced the interfacial adhesion between JFs and PP matrix via improving mechanical interlocking. The resultsshow that PP/JFs-KH570-GONPs composites had the significant improvement of 16.2 % and 12.4 % in tensile and flexuralstrength, respectively. And the thermal property of PP/JFs-Silane-GONPs composites was also improved after treatment. These high performance composites have the potential to be applied in many fields, such as the automotive industry,household products and so on.

        Influence of Force Loading Methods on the Prediction Accuracy of Electromagnetic Vibration and Noise in Electric Motors with Different Pole/Slot Combinations

        This study investigates the infuence of three force loading methods on the prediction accuracy of electromagnetic vibration and noise in electric motors with diferent pole/slot combinations. The calculation approach of diferent electromagnetic force loading methods is frstly deduced and analyzed. Then, a multi-physics model for vibration and noise prediction is established and validated with a noise test. Finally, electric motors with three pole/slot combinations are selected, and the electromagnetic noise predicted by diferent force loading methods is compared. The results show that distributed force loading method of the electromagnetic force leads to a more accurate solution to the acoustic noise, even if the concentrated force considers the equivalent force couple produced by the translation of the nodal force action point. This study can provide guidance for the design of low-noise electric motors.

        Study on nanosized zircon powder based dual sensitive sensor

        Study on the nanosized ceramic material of ZrO2 which has usually been used as electronic ceramics, function ceramics, structure ceramics and so on. The material of ZrO2 was made by low-temperature super alkaline condition. The powder was detected by XRD, and the result showed that the material was pure ZrO2. According to the Scherer formula computation, the ZrO2 average grain diameter was about 21 nm. The material was sensitive both to the ammonia and to the humidity. Full performance test was carried to the sensor made by the sensitive material. To 20 × 10-6 NH3, the sensitive is 3, and to 1000 × 10-6 NH3, the sensitive is 12.5. The sensor has good selectivity, and has almost no sensitive to else gases, so it is a good gas sensor with excellent selectivity. To 1000 × 10-6 NH3, the response time is 2 s, and recovering time is also only 27 s. The sensitive range of humidity is 25–98%RH under 25 ℃ . Both response and recovered time of humidity are less than 30s. The sensor realized the dual sensitive.         RNA-seq for comparative transcript profiling in leaves of strawberry seedlings under salinity stress

        As a major economic crop, strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.) has been widely planted in the world because of their adaptability and high economic efficiency. In the process of strawberry production, the traditional techniques of furrow irrigation, irrigating irrigation and water and fertilizer management are still relatively common, resulting in secondary salinization of the soil and an imbalance of nutrient ratio, resulting in a decrease in strawberry yield and quality. A total of 2334, 2718 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified in the 3-day, 6-day salt-treated leaf tissues compared with the controls, respectively. Based on the analysis of DEG function annotation and enrichment, a pattern of strawberry leaves response to NaCl stress was proposed. The processes related to plant hormone signal and lipid metabolism pathway were noted in the response of strawberry leaves to NaCl. Our transcriptome data provides valuable insights into genes involved in the growing process of strawberry seedlings under salt stress, and may help in developing seedlings with enhanced responses to salt stress in the years to come.
