Satellite Attitude Tracking Control with Uncertain Parameters
Cat T. Pham,Minhtuan Pham 제어로봇시스템학회 2011 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2011 No.10
This paper proposes an approach for tracking control of the satellite attitude when the satellite"s inertial moment matrix and the environmental torques affecting on the satellite are unknown. The proposed approach uses an artificial neural network (ANN) with online-learning weights to generate the estimate of the uncertain parameters while assuring that the tracking error is always nullified when noises affect on the system. The asymptotical stability of the control system using an ANN is strictly mathematically proven using the Lyapunov stability theorem.

A four-headed biceps brachii muscle and three-headed coracobrachialis muscle, high-originated radial artery and communication between the median and musculocutaneous nerves have been well documented in the available literature. However co-existence of these variations is rare. In this study we aimed to describe multiple variations in the upper limb and discuss their co-existence from clinical and embryological points of view.
Chaos in the fractional order Cellular Neural Network and its sychronization
Phuong Dam Thanh,Cat Pham Thuong 제어로봇시스템학회 2015 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2015 No.10
Chaos and its drive-response synchronization for a fractional-order cellular neural networks (CNN) are studied. It is found that chaos exists in the fractional-order system with six-cell. The phase sychronization of drive and response chaotic trajectories is investigated after that. These works based on lyapunov exponents (LE), lyapunov stability theory and numerical solving fractional-order system in Matlab enviroment.

Three levels of boron (0, 30, 60 ppm) were supplemented in practical corn-soybean based starter and grower diets, containing either adequate or inadequate Ca or P. A total of 1,800, 1-day-old sexed broiler chicks were assigned to six dietary treatments and fed with the experimental diets for 42 days. Boron improved the overall feed conversion ratio, but increased body weight only at 21 days of age (p<0.01). Boron decreased feed intake in the case of feeding on a diet deficient in Ca and P, and tended to increase feed intake when birds received a diet adequate in Ca and P, signifying significant boron by Ca-P interaction (p<0.01). Mortality was not influenced by boron (p>0.05). Dietary Ca and P deprivation reduced body weight and feed consumption significantly, but did not influence the feed conversion ratio and mortality (p>0.05). Serum Ca level, ALP and ALT activities were not influenced either by dietary Ca and P deficiency or boron supplementation. Serum P content increased with respect to boron at 30 ppm. Bone breakage strength was not affected by dietary variables. Tibia ash, Ca and P were increased in response to the supplementation diet with 30 ppm boron, whereas 60 ppm showed no effect in most cases. Accordingly, the dietary boron supplementation of 30 ppm significantly decreased fecal Ca and P excretion, while there was a numerical decline in the 60 ppm boron as compared to the 0 ppm boron group. Data presented herein indicated that boron, either at the 30 ppm or 60 ppm supplementation level, was effective in conversion of feed to body weight, whereas only boron at 30 ppm contributed to the mineralization of bone thereby augmenting more Ca and P while excreting less through faeces.
Optimal Neuro Control of Robot Manipulator
Nguyen Tran Hiep,Pham Thuong Cat 제어로봇시스템학회 2011 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2011 No.10
Recently, radial basis function network (RBFN) is used quite widely when using neural networks as controllers for subjects with multiple uncertain parameters such as the robot. The most important thing when using online learning neural network system is the choice of coefficient for networks with fast convergence speed. So far this coefficient has been chosen by experience and sometimes it takes quite a long time to find a coefficient that satisfies the requirement of the controlling task. Another problem is, when finding coefficients satisfying the required study of the problem and control, we can not conclude that the optimal coefficients. This article refers to the use of genetic algorithms (GA) to find optimal learning coefficient for RBF network is used as a controller for objects whose parameters are uncertain.

Laying hens were fed commercial diets added with supplemented fat (SFAT) at 0.6, 1.2, and 1.8% in order to study the long term dietary effects - on - their productive performance from 22 to 75 wk of age. Five hundred and seventy six Single Comb White Leghorn hens were assigned to one of the four dietary treatments. The experimental phase consisted of three periods of 18 wk each. The final body weight and gain of hens fed on diets with SFAT at 1.2% and 1.8% were lower (p<0.05) than those hens given no SFAT. The SFAT at the 1.2% and 1.8% levels improved egg production rate, egg weight and mass, as well as FCR. Mortality and feed consumption were not affected by dietary SFAT. Administration of a diet with SFAT significantly decreased the cracked-broken egg ratio (p<0.01). The beneficial effects of SFAT on egg production performance were particularly more pronounced at intermediate and later ages. Hence, SFAT by period interactions were significant for all traits studied except feed intake. Hens fed SFAT deposited significantly higher abdominal fat than those on the no-SFAT diet. As a result, SFAT at 1.2% and 1.8% inclusion levels provided benefits in terms of efficient table egg production.
Detection and Classification of Pills Moving at a Very High Speed Using a Bi-IV2 Vision System
Thi Thanh Quyen Bui,Thuong Cat Pham,Keum-Shik Hong 제어로봇시스템학회 2008 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2008 No.10
In this paper, a novel class of information?rocessing systems called Cellular Neural Networks (CNNs) is overviewed. The CNN provides solutions to some real-life problems which are difficult or time-consuming for classical digital computers. The CNN has emerged as a powerful and practically realizable paradigm of multidimensional, locally connected, nonlinear processor arrays. We will introduce a brief concept, mathematical description of CNN, and develop an application of CNN in the ultra-high frame-rate image processing: detection and classification of pills moving at a very high speed using the Bi-IV2 vision system. We also show you our experiment setup in the laboratory, and then experimental results are introduced. The classification is based on the size and shape parameters of different pills and possible missing parts are identified. The implementation of pills classification algorithm runs on Bi-IV2, the program to be run on Bi-IV2 is loaded over Ethernet, and the host computer PC can write/read data to/from the Bi-IV2 over Ethernet.

Background and Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the audiologic results after cochlear implantation (CI) in older patients and the degree of improvement in their quality of life (QoL).Subjects and Methods: Patients over 65 years old who underwent CI at implant center in Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital were included in this study (n=54; 34 males and 20 females). The control group was patient over 65 years old with normal hearing (n=54; 34 males and 20 females). We administered three questionnaires [World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF), World Health Organization Quality of Life-OLD (WHOQOL-OLD)], and Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) to evaluate the QoL, CIrelated effects on activities of daily life, and social activities in all the subjects. Moreover, correlations between speech recognition and the QoL scores were evaluated. The duration of implant use and comorbidities were also examined as potential factors affecting QoL.Results: The patients had remarkable improvements (the mean score of postoperative speech perception 75.7%) in speech perception after CI. The scores for the WHOQOL-OLD and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire responses were similar in both the study and control groups, except those for a two subdomains (social relations and social participation). The patients with longer-term CI had higher scores than those with short-term CI use. In general, the changes in GDS scores were not significant (<i>p</i><0.05).Conclusions: The treatment of hearing loss with CI conferred significant improvement in patient’s QoL (p<0.01). The evaluation of QoL can provide multidimensional insights into a geriatric patient’s progress and, therefore, should be considered by audiologists.
