        論文(론문) : 大腸正格證(대장정격증)과 장누수증후군(Leaky Gut Syndrome)과의 관계 考察(고찰)

        A Study on the Relationship between Dae-Jang-Jung-Gyeok(大腸正格) and Leaky Gut Syndrome Lee Jin-Cheoul1·Park Sang-Kyun2·Bang Jung-kyun3 *1Dept. of Medical History, College of Korean Medicine, Kyunghee University 2Dept. of Meridian, College of Korean Medicine, Sangji University 3Dept. of Korean Medical Classics and History, College of Korean Medicine, Sangji University Objective: If the penetration ratio of the intestinal mucosa is increased, the toxic or unhealthy materials - which should not be absorbed into our bodies - will be come into our bodies. They cause a sort of anti-toxic response or confusion of the immune system, and ultimately bring various types of diseases. This syndrome is related "Poison in Excrement" or "Internal Damage(內傷發□)" and Leaky Gut Syndrome, so I will study on the relationship between them. Method: Study on the relationship between Dae-Jang-Jung-gyeok and Leaky Gut Syndrome. Result: Korean doctors in ancient times called this syndrome "Poison in Excrement" or "Internal Damage(內傷發□)" and treated it with "Dae-Jang-Jung-Gyeok(大腸正格)". Leaky Gut Syndrome is a sort of clinical lesion, which allows foreign and harmful toxins in and results in a disorder of the immune system due to the leaking intestinal mucosa. Conclusion: Based upon the analyses, Dae-Jang-Jung-Gyeok and Leaky Gut Syndrome are closely related. Therefore diseases caused by the Leaky Gut Syndrome might be expected to be cured by Dae-Jang-Jung-Gyeok. Particularly the use of treatments for self-immune diseases and allergic diseases such as atopyic dermatitis and articular rheumatism should be expected to reveal a new path of treatment for other disorders such as Leaky Gut Syndrome.         Interpretation of the Five Viscera's Ascending Kidney-Water and Descending Heart-Yang

        According to the principle of ascending water and descending fire, water has the property of wetting downward, which is the opposite of fire, which has the property of blazing upward. Thus, they work differently according to their innate properties. Nature and the human body maintain harmony through the interaction of ascending water and descending fire. When applied to the human body, the heart and kidney are the center of this principle. In other words, the heart above is the fire and the kidney downward is water. When the heart-fire harmonizes downward, the kidney becomes warm, enabling genuine vital functions to be active. When the kidney yin moves upward, the heart receives the nourishing yin to harmonize nutrients and blood. Thereby, physiological functions become normal throughout the blood meridians. However, in the ascending kidneywater and descending heart-yang of the heart and the kidney, the liver and lung are the major functional organs. In other words, the liver through the dispersing and raising yang functions moves water, which is the vital essence of the kidney, upward. And the lung, through the astriction?clearing of the lung and descending Qi?dispersing functions, moves the heart-fire downward. These functions are deeply related with changing seasons; thus, these functions can be explained with the ascending kidney-water and descending heart-yang of the five viscera.

        Interpretation of 'Tri-jiao' presented in ${\ulcorner}\;SuWen\;\cdot\;Linglanbidianlun\;{\lrcorner}$

        There are wide variations in the definition and functions of tri-jiao among investigators in the area of Chinese medicine. Given a wide spectrum of views, it is difficult to identify uniform opinions about the definition and functions of tri-jiao. This paper is intended to clarify the meaning of the tri-jiao, which was presented as 'it builds a waterway and serves as the passage for the flow of Shuidao' in ${\ulcorner}\;SuWen\;\cdot\;Linglanbidianlun\;{\lrcorner}$ a classic text of traditional Chinese medicine. Investigators have been divided in their opinions in interpreting this reference; some claim that tri-jiao regulates fluid metabolism in the entire body while others assert that the role of tri-jiao is limited to lower-jiao that controls urination function. However, this does not appear convincing given the description in other texts of ${\ulcorner}\;SuWen\;\cdot\;Linglanbidianlun\;{\lrcorner}$, in which functions of 12 organs were explained in a summarized manner. The assumption that the role of tri-jiao is closely linked with lower-jiao seems to have deviated from the meaning of the original texts. Besides, fluid metabolism involves the entire body, and any pathological changes caused by disorders of fluid metabolism can affect any part of the body, not only the lower area of the body cavity. The phrase, 'passage for the flow of Shuidao,' expressed in the texts of ${\ulcorner}\;SuWen\;\cdot\;Linglanbidianlun\;{\lrcorner}$ is likely to mean that body fluid is also distributed and transported to the whole body along with primordial-Qi via tri-jiao. The phrase, 'passage for the flow of Shuidao' means that tri-jiao is involved in regulating body fluid metabolism and that it plays an important role in fluid distribution.

        『傷寒論』病症과 衛氣의 관계에 대한 硏究

        Objectives : Shanghanlon is based on the Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)‘s theory. Therefore, the contents of the Naegyeong can interpret Shanghanlon’s provision, Chengwuji(成無己) followed the same way. Therefore, I studied the relationship between the symptom of Shanghanlon and the defensive Gi(衛氣), I try to prove that the Naegyeong is the theoretical basis of Shanghanlon. Methods : Naegyeong explains that defensive Gi protects the outer parts of the body, and runs the outer parts of the body. So I will explain the spontaneous sweating(自汗) · aversion to cold(惡寒) · pain(痛症) · fever(發熱) · difficulty of urination(小便不利) using the function of defensive Gi. Results & Conclusions : The defensive Gi and the nutrient Gi(營氣) run together, if the defensive Gi is weak, can not protect the nutrient Gi. If the defensive Gi does not perform the function of inducing astringency(固攝), the symptom of spontaneous sweating appears. If aversion to cold is caused by the weak of defensive Gi, we use the treatment of warming the Yang(溫陽). If aversion to cold is caused by the defensive Gi can not run, we use the treatment of activating the Yang(通陽). If the Gi and Blood(氣血) is not feeding properly, the pain occurs. In this case, we use the treatment of activating the Yang(通陽). The fever is caused by the stagnation of defensive Gi. If the defensive Gi is weak, the symptom of difficulty of urination appears.

        소문(素問),맥해(脈解)의 삼음삼양(三陰三陽) 월(月) 배속(配屬)과 경락(經絡) 표리(表裏)의 상관성에 대한 연구

        Objectives: By comparing the correspondence of Three Eums and Yangs (三陰三陽) to calendr in Somun·Make`ae with twelve principal divinatory symbols (十二피卦), this paper intends to explain the exterior and interior of meridian system using the phenomena of the trigrams from Juyeok (卦). It also tries to relate the phenomena of the trigrams with the characteristics of the original Gi (本氣) of Three Eums and Yangs through the interpretation of Three Eums and Yangs assigned to twelve principal divinatory symbols. Methods: This paper compares the correspondence of Three Eums and Yangs to calendar in Somun·Make`ae with twelve principal divinatory symbols. By this, it traces the making of the exterior and interior relationship between Taeeum (太陰)-Yangmyeong (陽明), Soeum (少陰)-Taeyang (太陽), and Gworeum (厥陰)-Soyang (少陽) through the phenomena of trigrams assigned to Three Eums and Yangs. It also interprets Three Eums and Yangs assigned to twelve principal divinatory symbols, using the original Gi of the six atmospheric influences (六氣). Results and Conclusions: Three Eums and Yangs in Somun·Make`ae signify the six meridians of the Leg. Soeum (少陰) is assigned to October in Somun·Make`ae , but it is more appropriate to assign it to July. If Soeum (少陰) is assigned to July, Three Eums and Yangs have phenoma of the trigrams with Eum and Yang Lines (陽爻) counter to each other, and can be explained as the exterior and interior relationship. Lastly, in case of Three Eums and Yangs assigned to twelve principal divinatory symbols, the phenomena of the trigrams can be interpreted as the original Gi of Three Eums and Yangs.

        유창(喩昌)의 의론(醫論) 연구(硏究) -추조론(秋燥論)과 대기론(大氣論)을 중심(中心)으로-

        Yuchang(喩昌), prominent doctor in the early days of Cheong Dynasty, argued in favor of Daegiron(大氣論) and Chujoron(秋燥論). He referred the concept of Daegi(大氣) to the initiatory force that maintains and perpetuates the vital activities of human body. The historical background of his argument can be related to the abuses of the doctrine of warming and tonifying. At that time, the practice of misusing warming and tonifying herbal medicines without deteriorations of a case was widespread among doctors. Dryness and heat disease mechanism was triggered from this malpractice. Subsequently Yuchang(喩昌) witnessed many cases of lung diseases resulting from dryness and heat. That`s why he suggested relieving dryness of the lung as a treatment, further establishing Daegi(大氣)-which correlates with the lung-as the vital fundamentals. Yuchang(喩昌)`s argues that the autumn energy emanates after the Autumn Equinox and that is what Chujo(秋燥) signifies in Chujoron(秋燥論). He articulates that most of the autumn diseases can be attributed to fire and heat. This argument is distinguished from the one that attributes lung diseases to coldness, thus providing an important factor in deteriorating a lung disease.

        론문(論文) : 『상한론(傷寒論)』 소승기탕증(小承氣湯證)에 대한 연구(硏究)

        Objective: The syndrome of daeseunggitang(大承氣湯證) and the syndrome of soseunggitang(小 承氣湯證) are different from pathogenesis of the dry stool(燥屎). Due to the lack of body fluid the syndrome of soseunggitang(小承氣湯證)`s dry stool occurs. However, Soseunggitang(小承氣湯) does not have the appropriate remedy. So I will propose a suitable remedy and I suggest it will be available for disease. Method: Study on the syndrome of soseunggitang in Sanghanlon(傷寒論). Result: The syndrome of soseunggitang and Soseunggitang are not corresponded with each other. The treatment of promoting production of body fluid to relax bowels is necessary for the syndrome of Soseunggitang. Conclusion: Through the analysis, I have the following conclusions. Jeungaegseunggitang(增液承 氣湯) is more suitable for the syndrome of soseunggitang. Soseunggitang is suitable for disease accompanied by interior heat and dampness.
