      • 전측 시개전핵의 하행성 통각 조절계에 대한 중뇌수도주변회백질의 관여

        이 연구는 전측 시개전핵의 자극으로 인한 하행성 통각 억제 체계에 중뇌수도주변회백질이 관여하는가를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 펜토바비탈로 마취된 쥐의 꼬리튀기 반사를 사용하여 전측 시개전핵을 전기자극하고 중뇌수도주변회백질에 리도카인을 주입한 결과 전측 시개전핵의 자극으로 유발된 무통 효과가 억제되었다. 하올리브 수준의 복측 연수에 WGA-HRP를 주입하였을 때 중뇌수도주변회백질의 복외측 부위에 표지된(labeled) 뉴론이 집중적으로 관찰되었으며, 전측 시개전핵에서도 표지된 뉴론이 발견되었다. 이러한 결과는 전측 시개전핵의 하행성 통각 억제 체계에 최소한 부분적으로 중뇌수도주변회백질이 관여한다는 것을 시사한다. This study was conducted to determine whether the periaqueductal gray (PAG) is involved in descending pain inhibition system mediated by the anterior pretectal nucleus (APTN). Pain sensitivity was assessed using tail-flick test to radiant heat in the rat anaesthetized with pentobarbital. Microinjections of lidocaine into the PAG inhibited the analgesic effects of stimulating the APTN. After WGA-HRP was injected into the ventral medulla at the level of the inferior olivary nuclei, the labeled neurons were detected in the ventrolateral PAG and in the APTN. The results suggest that the PAG is at least partially involved in a descending antinociceptive pathway originating in the APTN.

      • 전측 시개전핵의 하행성 통각 조절계에 대한 하올리브 수준의 복측 연수의 관여

        본 연구는 전측 시개전핵의 자극으로 인한 하행성 통각 억제 체계에 하올리브 수준의 복측 연수가 관여하는가를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 펜토바비탈로 마취된 쥐의 꼬리튀기 반사를 사용하여 전측 시개전핵을 전기자극하고 복측 연수를 전기손상시키거나 리도카인을 주입한 결과 전측 시개전핵의 자극으로 유발된 무통 효과가 억제되었다. 반대로 복측 연수를 전기자극하거나 글루타메이트를 주입하여 세포체를 활성화시키면 마찬가지로 무통이 발생하였다. 이 결과는 전측 시개전핵의 하행성 통각 억제 체계에 하올리브 수준의 복측 연수가 관여한다는 것을 시사한다. The present study was conducted to determine whether the ventral medulla (VM) at the level of the inferior olive (IO) is involved in descending pain inhibition system including the anterior pretectal nucleus (APTN). Pain sensitivity was assessed using tail-flick test to radiant heat in the rat anaesthetized with pentobarbital. Electrolytic lesions of the VM or microinjections of lidocaine into the VM inhibited the analgesic effects of stimulating the APTN. Electrical stimulation of the VM or microinjections of glutamate into the VM produced analgesic effects similar to those of stimulating the APTN. These results suggest that the VM including the IO is involved in a descending antinociceptive pathway originating in the APTN.

      • 가치공학변경제안제도의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

        우리나라의 건설산업은 국내건설시장의 전면 개방과 표준품셈제도의 단계적 폐지와 같은 새로운 환경변화에 직면하고 있으며, 이러한 상황하에서 건설산업은 사고의 혁신과 기술혁신 필요하다. 선진국에서는 이 치열한 생존경쟁에서 살아남고 국가예산절감의 한 방편으로 가치공학을 통하여 큰 성과를 거두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국가예산의 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 건설공사에 대해서 미국, 일본과 우리나라의 가치공학변경제안제도, 시행 절차, 공사비절감 사례 등을 비교·분석하고, 국가예산절감을 위한 한 방편으로 공공공사에 대하여 가치공학변경제안제도를 활성화 시키고 나아가서 민간공사에서도 가치공학을 적극 활용할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 제시하고자 하였으며, 5가지의 방안을 제시하였다. The construction industry in Korea is confronted with new environment such as opening market for domestic construction and withdrawing of standard unit system. Under these circumstances, the construction industry needs technology and thought innovation. The developed countries is successful through Value Engineering(VE) in order to survive in this fierce struggle for existence and save national budget. This study tries to provide the encouragement of VE change proposal system to public construction projects as well as private construction projects with comparison and analysis of USA, Japan and Korean VE change proposal system, procedure and examples of saving budgets, and provides five alternative proposals.

      • 알코올 용매로부터 알콕사이드졸겔법에 의한 알루미나 미분말의 제조

        Al(??)₃를 알코올 용매하에 아세틸아세톤과 반응시킨 후 부분가수분해 하여 alumina precusor sol을 얻었다. 생성된 졸의 특성을 알아보기 위하여 산의 농도에 따른 졸의 상태를 조사하였다. 또한 이 졸로부터 얻어진 분말은 각 온도별로 열처리하여 결정의 전이과정 및 각 온도에서의 결정상태 등을 조사하였다. 건조분말은 90℃에서 비정질로서 polymenc sol의 특성을 나타내었으며 900℃에서는 ? -Al₂O₃, 1050 ℃에서는 α- Al₂O₃의 단일상이 각각 관찰되었다. 또, 비정질분말과 α- Al₂O₃에서는 6배위한 Al을, 그리고 ??-Al₂O₃에서는 4배위한 Al을 각각 확인할 수 있었다. Alumina precusor sol was obtained by the reaction of Al(??)₃ and acetylacetone in the alcohol solvent followed by the partial hydrolysis. In order to investigate the characteristics of the obtained sol, the state of the sol with the concentration of the acid was investigated. The powders obtained from this sol were calcined at the various temperatures. The transition of crystals and crystal state were investigated at the various temperatures. The powders dried at 90 ℃ showed the characteristies of polymeric sol and at 900℃ showed ??-Al₂O₃, at 1050℃ showed the single phase of α-Al₂O₃.

      • DNA methylation predicts recurrence from resected stage III proximal colon cancer

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P><B>BACKGROUND:</B></P><P>In colorectal cancer (CRC), DNA methylation anomalies define distinct subgroups termed CpG island methylator phenotype 1 (CIMP1), CIMP2, and CIMP‐negative. The role of this classification in predicting recurrence and disease‐free survival (DFS) in resected stage III CRC was evaluated.</P><P><B>METHODS:</B></P><P>Sporadic cancers from 161 patients were analyzed. Bisulfite pyrosequencing was used to examine the methylation of 2 global DNA methylation markers (LINE‐1, Alu) and 9 loci (<I>MINT1, MINT2, MINT31, P16, hMLH1, P14, SFRP1</I>, SFRP2, and WNT5A). Mutations in BRAF and KRAS were assayed.</P><P><B>RESULTS:</B></P><P>Gene hypermethylation clustered in discrete groups of patients, indicating the presence of CIMP. K‐means clustering analysis identified 3 discrete subgroups: CIMP1 (n = 22, 13.7%), associated with proximal location and <I>BRAF</I> mutations; CIMP2 (n = 40, 24.8%), associated with <I>KRAS</I> mutations; and CIMP‐negative (n = 99, 61.5%), associated with distal location. In proximal CRC, CIMP1 was correlated with a higher recurrence rate (53% for CIMP1, 18% for CIMP2, and 26% for CIMP‐negative) and a worse DFS (<I>P</I> = .015). Also in proximal CRC, LINE‐1 methylation was lower in patients whose cancer recurred compared with those whose cancer did not recur (<I>P</I> = .049). In multivariate analysis, CIMP1 and low LINE1 methylation were independent prognostic factors for DFS in proximal CRC (<I>P</I> = .008 for classification by K‐means clustering analysis; <I>P</I> = .040 for LINE‐1 methylation status).</P><P><B>CONCLUSIONS:</B></P><P>DNA methylation is a useful biomarker of recurrence in resected stage III proximal but not distal CRC. However, as the number of CIMP1 cases was small in distal CRC, further study is required to validate our findings. Cancer 2011. © 2010 American Cancer Society.</P>

        A Study on Predicting Changes of Future Advertising Characteristics and Types after the Corona 19 Pandemic

        The Corona 19 pandemic is bringing a big change in the fields of politics, economy, society, culture, environment, ecosystem, science and technology, and business management activities and advertising. Therefore, in this study, after the Corona 19 pandemic, we predicted how the characteristics of future advertising and the types of future advertising will change, and we studied countermeasures. We used, a method of analyzing related literature and the Delphi Survey method predicting the future, as a research method. As expert Panel, the subject of the Delphi technique survey, we recruited 30 experts in the field of advertising and future fields with professional insight. We study to predict how the characteristics of future advertising and the types of future advertising will change according to changes in the advertising environment such as social changes, business changes, and consumer changes after the Corona 19 pandemic. In order to cope with these changes in future advertising, it is necessary to actively prepare the advertising industry and advertising experts. Therefore, we suggested countermeasures so that the advertising industry and advertising experts can understand and respond for future advertising changes.

      • Egr-1 Mediates Transcriptional Activation of IGF-Ⅱ Gene in Response to Hypoxia

        We have previously reported that the exposure of human HepG2 cells to hypoxic conditions results in the overexpression of human insulin-like growth factor Ⅱ (IGF_Ⅱ) mRNA whose size is 6.0 kb. This particular size of IGF-Ⅱ mRNA is transcribed under the control of the IGF-Ⅱ P3 promoter. In the present study, to delineate the molecular mechanism for the activation of the IGF-Ⅱ gene, we examined the induction of P3 promoter activity in HepG2-cells by hypoxia in the transient expression system. In this system, thpoxia induced a linear increase within 24 h in the expression of luciferase that was driven by the IGF-Ⅱ P3 promoter. To pattern of regulators of the P3 promoter, Egr-1, Sp-1, and WT1, were analyzed by reverse transcription-PCR and Northern blot analysis. We contrast, the level of WT1, a repressor of IGF-Ⅱ expression, was markedly decreased during hypoxia. The mRNA stability assay revealed that the induction of transcription is the mechanism of underlying Egr-1 mRNA elevation. We then investigated the effects of hypoxia on the DNA binding activity of Egr-1. Both electrophoretic mobility shift assay and supershift assay demonstrated that the DNA binding activity of the Egr-1 protein was increased by hypoxia. In addition, the level of Egr-1 protein increased under the hypoxia as determined by Western blot analysis. Cotransfection of HepG2 cells with an Egr-1 expression vector and an IGF-Ⅱ P3 promoter-luciferase reporter plasmid showed that the transcription of IGF-Ⅱ was activated by Egr-1 in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, the elecation of IGF-Ⅱ P3 promoter activity was induced synergistically by the cotreatment of hypoxia whth Egr-1 overexpression. Deletion of sequences in the IGF-Ⅱ P3 promoter containing Egr-1 binding sites did not respond to hypoxic stress. Taken together, these data strongly indicate that hypoxia-induced IGF-Ⅱ expression in HepG2 cells is due to the enhanced activity of Egr-1 on the IGF-Ⅱ P3 promoter and that the Egr-1 binding site in the IGF-Ⅱ P3 promoter is essential for the transcriptional regulation of IGF-Ⅱ under hypoxic conditions.
