      • Evolutionary Computing Driven Extreme Learning Machine for Objected Oriented Software Aging Prediction

Ahamad, Shahanawaj International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2022 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.22 No.2

To fulfill user expectations, the rapid evolution of software techniques and approaches has necessitated reliable and flawless software operations. Aging prediction in the software under operation is becoming a basic and unavoidable requirement for ensuring the systems' availability, reliability, and operations. In this paper, an improved evolutionary computing-driven extreme learning scheme (ECD-ELM) has been suggested for object-oriented software aging prediction. To perform aging prediction, we employed a variety of metrics, including program size, McCube complexity metrics, Halstead metrics, runtime failure event metrics, and some unique aging-related metrics (ARM). In our suggested paradigm, extracting OOP software metrics is done after pre-processing, which includes outlier detection and normalization. This technique improved our proposed system's ability to deal with instances with unbalanced biases and metrics. Further, different dimensional reduction and feature selection algorithms such as principal component analysis (PCA), linear discriminant analysis (LDA), and T-Test analysis have been applied. We have suggested a single hidden layer multi-feed forward neural network (SL-MFNN) based ELM, where an adaptive genetic algorithm (AGA) has been applied to estimate the weight and bias parameters for ELM learning. Unlike the traditional neural networks model, the implementation of GA-based ELM with LDA feature selection has outperformed other aging prediction approaches in terms of prediction accuracy, precision, recall, and F-measure. The results affirm that the implementation of outlier detection, normalization of imbalanced metrics, LDA-based feature selection, and GA-based ELM can be the reliable solution for object-oriented software aging prediction.

Effect of High Temperature Deposition on the Diffusion of Nickel in Amorphous Silicon Thin Films

        Md. Ahamad Mohiddon,M. Ghanashyam Krishna 대한금속·재료학회 2014 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.10 No.4

The diffusion of nickel into amorphous Si (a-Si) thin films and the growth of different nickel silicides is reported. a-Si and Ni films were deposited on Borosilicate Glass substrates and annealed in vacuum at temperatures from 200 to 500°C. The average grain size of the films increases from 150 nm to 360 nm with deposition temperature. Cross-sectional scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy have been used in conjunction to reveal the process of diffusion. It is inferred from x-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy analysis on these stacks that Ni3Si is formed at 200°C, NiSi at 300°C and NiSi2 at 400°C. This study reveals that Ni-Si bilayer films deposited at an elevated temperature and subsequently annealed at the deposition temperature formed monophase Ni silicides.

QSAR based therapeutic management of M. tuberculosis

        Shahzaib Ahamad,사피쿠르라만,Faez Iqbal Khan,Neeraja Dwivedi,Sher Ali,김지회,Md. Imtaiyaz Hassan 대한약학회 2017 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.40 No.6

Mycobacterium tuberculosis is responsible forsevere mortality and morbidity worldwide but, under-developedand developing countries are more prone toinfection. In search of effective and wide-spectrum antitubercularagents, interdisciplinary approaches are beingexplored. Of the several approaches used, computer basedquantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) havegained momentum. Structure-based drug design and discoveryimplies a combined knowledge of accurate predictionof ligand poses with the good prediction andinterpretation of statistically validated models derived fromthe 3D-QSAR approach. The validated models are generallyused to screen a small combinatorial library ofpotential synthetic candidates to identify hits which furthersubjected to docking to filter out compounds as novelpotential emerging drug molecules to address multidrugresistanttuberculosis. Several newer models are integratedto QSAR methods which include different types of chemicaland biological data, and simultaneous prediction ofpharmacological activities including toxicities and/or othersafety profiles to get new compounds with desired activity. In the process, several newer molecules have been identifiedwhich are now being assessed for their clinical efficacy. Present review deals with the advances made in thefield highlighting overall future prospects of the developmentof anti-tuberculosis drugs.

      • Energy Regeneration in Boom up by using Three Independent Metering Valves with Load Feed Back control

        Mashruk Ahamad,J. I. Yoon(윤종일),K. K. Ahn(안경관) 유공압건설기계학회 2013 유공압건설기계학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2013 No.6

Conventional hydraulic spool valves with pressure compensator are already replaced by four valve assemblies with independent metering scheme. In recent research on hydraulic system is mainly focusing on energy saving because efficiency of hydraulic system is very low even though it has large power to size ratio. In this paper boom energy regeneration with three independent metering valves are proposed and load feedback control is used to control this system. In this system describe here, two of three independent metering valves are active during metering. The proposed system offers two degree of freedom in controlling. For controlling the velocity one degrees of freedom is used and another one can be used for controlling pressure in an actuator work port or minimize velocity errors due to valve coefficient errors.

The Impact of Microfinance Programs on Borrowers’ Asset Accumulation: An Empirical Study in Bangladesh

Shamsuddin AHAMAD,Abul Bashar BHUIYAN,Mohammad SOLAIMAN,Mohd Hasanur Raihan JOARDER 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.5

The study aimed to investigate the impact of the microfinance program on loan borrowers’ asset accumulation. In doing this, the study used descriptive and statistical methods to achieve the objectives. Primary data were collected from 192 respondents from Bangladesh using survey questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression model. The result revealed that the majority of the borrowers said their assets such as farm, land, and livestock remained the same, which implies that microfinance borrowers still lag behind accumulating household assets. However, in the case of housing conditions and household appliances, there was a marginal increase. The regression result provides evidence that, among other factors, the amount of loan received from microfinance institutions and time duration with them is the most significant role-playing factor for borrower’s sustainable well-being. The age and education level of borrowers are identified as positively related to asset accumulations, but not substantially so. Moreover, training provided by microfinance institutions is not effective and influential for microfinance borrowers’ wealth accumulation, which is evidenced by the findings. This study’s insights are worthwhile for any microfinance institution’s decision-makers, development partners, and government to stress the shortcomings and accelerate the borrower’s wealth status.

Synthesis of a recyclable mesoporous nanocomposite for efficient removal of toxic Hg2+ from aqueous medium

        Tansir Ahamad,Mu. Naushad,Basheer M. Al-Maswari,Jahangeer Ahmed,Zeid A. AlOthman,Saad M. Alshehri,Ayoub Abdullah Alqadami 한국공업화학회 2017 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.53 No.-

A mesoporous magnetic zirconium phosphate was prepared for the removal of Hg2+ from aqueous medium. The saturation magnetization of pure Fe3O4 and Fe3O4@ZrP was observed 82.9 and 62.4 emu/g, respectively. The effect of different adsorption parameters was studied. The kinetic data were fitted to the pseudo 1st and pseudo 2nd order models whereas the adsorption process was best fitted into the pseudo 2nd order model. The adsorption isotherm could be well described with Langmuir model, with the maximum adsorption capacity of 181.8 mg g1 at 25 C. Thus, the present studies suggested that Fe3O4@ZrP have remarkable potential for Hg2+ removal from contaminated water.
