Effect of Ge doping on the electrical properties of amorphous Zn–Sn–O thin films

        Abhishek Sharma,Rahim Abdur,김다미,Awnish Kumar Tripathi,Son Singh,이재갑,유상임 한국물리학회 2020 Current Applied Physics Vol.20 No.9

We report the effect of germanium doping on the active layer of amorphous Zinc–Tin-Oxide (a-ZTO) thin film transistor (TFT). Amorphous thin film samples were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering using single targets composed of Zn2Ge0.05Sn0.95O4 and Zn2SnO4 with variable oxygen contents in the sputtering gases. In comparison with undoped, Ge-doped a-ZTO films exhibited five order of magnitude lower carrier density with a significantly higher Hall-mobility, which might be due to suppressed oxygen vacancies in the a-ZTO lattice since the Ge substituent for the Sn site has relatively higher oxygen affinity. Thus, the bulk and interface trap densities of Ge-doped a-ZTO film were decreased one order of magnitude to 7.047 1018 eV 1cm 3 and 3.52 1011 eV 1cm 2, respectively. A bottom-gate TFT with the Ge-doped a-ZTO active layer showed considerably improved performance with a reduced SS, positively shifted Vth, and two orders of magnitude increased Ion/Ioff ratio, attributable to the doped Ge ions.

Pharmacopuncture of Bauhinia variegata Nanoemulsion Formulation against Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain

        Pushpraj S Gupta,Sunil K Singh,Abhishek K Tripathi 대한약침학회 2020 Journal of pharmacopuncture Vol.23 No.1

Objectives: The objective of the study was to prepare Bauhinia variegata loaded nanoemulsion(formulation and determine the efficacy of herbal drug formulation against diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain through acupuncture technique. Methods: Nine different ba tches of nanoemulsion (NE1 NE9) of BVN was prepared by varying the S mix ratio and the concentration of oil. BVN was characterized to determine particle size, shape, zeta potential, polydispersity index, optical transmittance, drug release profile and stora ge stability. The optimized formulation was subjected to plantar test, behavioral tests of neuropathic pain and Von Frey filament stimulation test. Diabetes was induced by intraperitoneal injection of freshly prepared solution of Streptozotocin (60 mg/kg) to the experimental rats. Animals were made diabetic divided into four groups, Group I was untreated normal control group, Group II was diabetic control group, Group III was Bauhinia variegata extract ( treated group (100 mg/kg/day, p.o) and Group IV was BVN treated groups (100 mg/kg/day, p.o) acute and chronically. Results: The prepared B. variegata loaded nanoemulsion was nanosized (124 nm), spherical, uniform and stable over the period of 180 days with no change in physiochemical properties. The bl ood glucose and body weight of animals was normalizing after four weeks of treatment that was significant with BVN in comparison to diabetic control group. The chronic administration of BVN significantly (P<0.001) decreased hind paw withdrawal latency an d attenuated mechanical allodynia as compared with diabetic rats. Conclusion: Thus, BVN may be an effective drug formulation against diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain.

Standardization of process variables for development of traditional Indian dairy product herbal apple rabri with improved organoleptic, textural, antioxidants, functional attributes and shelf life

        Lata Rajnee,Jaiswal Ved Prakash,Paul Veena,Tripathi Abhishek Dutt,Agarwal Aparna,Rai Dinesh Chandra 한국식품연구원 2023 Journal of Ethnic Foods Vol.10 No.49

Rabri is a concentrated whole milk product from India that has been heat desiccated and sweetened. Herbs are reported to possess therapeutic properties. The addition of these herbs in the food enhances the functionality of the food. Herbal apple rabri was prepared by adding two herbs (brahmi and shatavari). The herbal apple rabri was optimized based on its organoleptic attributes. The sensory evaluation revealed that adding brahmi up to 2.5% and shatavari up to 1.5% is acceptable. The optimized rabri was further analyzed for its texture profile. The shelf life was evaluated based on the physicochemical, antioxidant, phenolics, and microbial content like total plate count and yeast and molds count. The DPPH inhibition activity shows that the optimized rabri has antioxidant potential (58.41 ± 0.03%) compared to control rabri (34.30 ± 0.04%) due to adding herbs. The microbial spoilage in the optimized sample was less as compared to the control sample.
