        공급 사슬 환경에서 중소 제조 기업의 가격 결정 전략에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this paper is to suggest a supplier and buyer’s pricing decision strategy model with discount-policy over a long-term replenishment contract in a supply chain environment by small and medium size manufacturing company. We assume that the buyer has a superior economic power over a supplier and each agent in a supply chain is unaware of each other. The supplier proposes pricing decision strategy to induce the buyer to choose the terms of contract for the benefit of the supplier. Then buyer decides the terms of contract to maximize her profit considering supplier’s discount-policy. We also present a numerical example to illustrate the efficiency of pricing decision strategy.

        공급망 환경에서 중소부품제조업체의 생산물류계획 통합 사례연구

        For small and medium sized manufacturing companies, establishing a production and logistics integration systems is one of the most critical issues in the supply chain management. It helps SMEs(Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) fulfill production and logistics activities simultaneously, and enhances operational efficiency through the reduced changes in production planning, defect ratio, and inventory turnover. This case study showed a process of adopting an information system for an auto-part manufacturing company attempting integration of production and logistics activities. In particular, this study performed a system analysis and compared the key performance between before and after adoption of the new system in the context of a supply chain with multi plants and multi distribution centers.

        Convex Underestimates of Sums of Products of Linear Functions

          본 논문에서 선형함수의 곱의 형태로 표현된 비선형 함수를 목적식 또는 제약식에 가지는 비선형 최적화 문제를 새로운 변수를 추가하여 선형 Relaxation 최적화 문제로 Reformulation하는 기법을 소개한다. 특히, 선형함수의 곱의 형태를 가지는 비선형 함수를 포함하는 비선형 정수 최적화 문제를 선형 정수 최적화 문제로 Relaxation할 경우 두 최적화 문제의 해가 일치함을 보인다. 또한 소개된 Relaxation 기법을 응용하여, 추가되는 변수의 수를 증가시킴으로서, 보다 Tight한 Relaxation 문제를 도출하는 과정에 대하여 소개한다.

        CART를 이용한 주가결정요인분석과 주가예측

        Existing stock price analysis studies tended to focus only on stock price rather than stock price determinants, but in this study we develop a stock price forecasting system with a two-step method. In the first step, we find the factors that determine the stock price and predict the stock price based on the factors determined in the second step. The scope of the research is meaningful in reducing the cost of collecting data by developing predictive-based models that can be used in the stock market and selecting the variables needed for forecasting. The research methodology will use CART (Classification And Regression Tree). In this study, we applied to the stock price prediction in two directions of both prediction and classification. We use the KOSPI 200 data for empirical analysis and present a quantitative forecasting model that considers the direction of future share prices by using financial statement indices, past and present stock prices related to asset value and profitability value. Experiments were conducted in three experiments according to the input parameters of prediction and classification problem. Based on the experimental results, two determinants and two models are suggested for prediction and classification.

        Quantitative Analysis for Biomass Energy Problem Using a Radial Basis Function Neural Network

        In biomass gasification, efficiency of energy quantification is a difficult part without finishing the process. In this article, a radial basis function neural network (RBFN) is proposed to predict biomass efficiency before gasification. RBFN will be compared with a principal component regression (PCR) and a multilayer perceptron neural network (MLPN). Due to the high dimensionality of data, principal component transform is first used in PCR and afterwards, ordinary regression is applied to selected principal components for modeling. Multilayer perceptron neural network (MLPN) is also used without any preprocessing. For this research, 3 wood samples and 3 other feedstock are used and they are near infrared (NIR) spectrum data with high-dimensionality. Ash and char are used as response variables. The comparison results of two responses will be shown.

        Competency Modeling Using AHP Methodology and Improvement of National Technical Qualification System

        The purpose of this study is to develop an engineer competency model using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to improve the national technical qualification system. Korea has managed technical human resources at the government level through the operation of a national technical qualification system that certifies engineers with national certificates or technical grades by laws. However, there have been increasing concerns that the government system is separated from global standards and does not reflect an engineer’s comprehensive capabilities. For these reasons, the new architecture of the system has been continuously discussed and becomes a major policy issue of the Korean government. For the development of the engineer competency model, domestic and global models were separately structured using 554 valid questionnaires with a consistency ratio (CR) of 0.1 or less. The relative importance of engineer competency factors in a domestic model was career (0.383), qualification (0.253), academic degree (0.195), and job training (0.169) whereas the order in the global model was career (0.308), global ability (0.237), job training (0.175), domestic qualification (0.147), and academic degree (0.134). The results of AHP analysis indicated that the evaluation factors and methods recognized by engineers were different from a current government model focusing on domestic qualifications. There was also perceptual difference in the importance of engineer evaluation factors between groups depending on the type of organizations and markets. This means that it is necessary to reflect the characteristics of organizations and markets when evaluating engineer competency. Based on AHP analysis and literature reviews, this paper discussed how to develop a new engineer competency index (ECI) and presented two effective index models verified by simulation test using 59,721 engineers’ information. Lastly, the paper discussed major findings of our empirical research and proposed policy alternatives for the improve-ment of a national engineer qualification system. The paper contributes to the management of technical human resources since it provides quantitative competency models that are objectively developed by reflecting market recognition and can be effectively used by the policy makers or firms.

        지역기업에 대한 정부 R&D 지원의 효과분석(2002-2016)

        With acceleration of global competition and expansion of the production network where capital and labor move freely, competitiveness at a regional level, rather than as a country, is becoming an immediate national challenge. In addition, with the spread of the innovation-driven economy around the world, creation and fusion of knowledge and new technology are being applied through rapid and flexible cooperation across industries at a regional level. Recognizing that regional competitiveness is the competitiveness of the country, South Korea Government has promoted the regional industry policy since the 1990s. In 2008, the government implemented the promotion program for regional strategic industry(Post 4+9), starting with the promotion policies of innovative regional industries in 1999. In 2009, the leading industries development project in the mega-regional economy was promoted for strengthening global competitiveness of the regions; the economic cooperation industry promotion business has been promoted that can set the region through autonomous consultation between the cities and provinces since 2015. In accordance with the direction of the government, regional policies have been changed in various ways, and the spatial range has also changed from the level of cities and provinces to the one of metropolitan scale, returning to the level of cities and provinces. Research and development have been of great importance as support measures have changed from infrastructure to software-driven. In particular, R&D can be the basis for the government intervention because the investment can reach below the social optimal level as R&D has the externality, thereby playing a role of reducing the probability of market failure. However, there have been various discussions on achievements of R&D support: there was a precedent research presenting that government R&D investment plays an important role in the management of productivity and innovation level of companies. Based on these discussions, this study aims to find out the performance of regional R&D projects of national R&D projects by investigating companies that have participated in regional R&D projects to find out whether their productivity, growth, and profitability improved. For the analysis, corporate financial information panel data(2002∼2016) for 15 years of 1,493 companies were used. In addition to the growth rate analysis, statistical significance was verified by comparing the means between the groups by indicator and year.
