Recently, To improve fuel efficiency and power consumption reduction technology in automobile parts is the issue. Automatic transmission oil pump for electric vehicles(EV) generates high pressure(HP) for shifting and low pressure(LP) for lubrication. There is the problem that unnecessary power loss by reducing automatic transmission fluid(ATF) pressure HP to LP. Power loss of the oil pump is a cause of deteriorating the fuel consumption of automobiles. In the case of EV, it is necessary to large capacity of the electric motor. and it grows the power consumption of the pump. Double discharge single suction 2-stage oil pump configures the HP pump and LP pump part to the single axis. It is possible to pressing the pressure required and reduce unnecessary power loss. In this study, HP, LP line pressure rotational speed of the rotor, ATF oil temperature of 2-stage oil pump has confirmed the effects on flow rate by using the CFD analysis. The pump characteristic according to the change in the rotational speed of the rotor was compared by experimental researching.
