This paper suggests the product supply process model based on the store and production capacity, assortment planning and quick response for fast fashion retailers with BPMN. In the fast fashion industry, the standardized business process model is required to respond quickly market trends and customer requirements based on the quantitative and qualitative criteria. Thus we define the product supply processes which incorporate forecasting and assortment plan, cost and profitability of the production, store capacity based on the visual merchandising, and production capacity of the fast fashion retailers. Also we design the key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of these product supply processes. The product supply process model for the fast fashion has great significance in embracing the fast fashion product development process because it presents the holistic view of the product supply process of the fast fashion and provides a performance evaluation mechanism. A case study shows that adopting the processes, a Korean fast fashion company achieves improvement in various performance indicators.

In this paper, the seismic capacity of deteriorated landing piers has been evaluated. Firstly, a full scale destructive tests on the deteriorated landing piers in Busan Ports was carried out to analyze the real behavior of the structure under ultimate loading conditions. Then, the analytical model of the structure including soil supports was constructed based on the results of lateral loading tests. Finally, the seismic capacity of the structure was evaluated using Capacity spectrum method and nonlinear time-history analysis method.
패스트 패션의 재고비용 최적화를 위한 상품공급 물량 산정 모델

This paper proposes a computation model of the quantity supplied to optimize inventory costs for the fast fashion. The model is based on a forecasting, a store and production capacity, an assortment planning and quick response model for fast fashion retailers, respectively. It is critical to develop a standardized business process and mathematical model to respond market trends and customer requirements in the fast fashion industry. Thus, we define a product supply model that consists of forecasting, assortment plan, store capacity plan based on the visual merchandising, and production capacity plan considering quick response of the fast fashion retailers. For the forecasting, the decomposition method and multiple regression model are applied. In order to optimize inventory costs. A heuristic algorithm for the quantity supplied is designed based on the assortment plan, store capacity plan and production capacity plan. It is shown that the heuristic algorithm produces a feasible solution which outperforms the average inventory cost of a global fast fashion company.

During the process of discovery, US law provides attorney-client privilege and work-product immunity in order to protect the communication between attorney-client, and work product from discovery. In the US, Attorney-client privilege and work-product immunity has been discussed in detail and many theories have been proposed, making the right to an attorney being fully protected. Korean law also has a similar discovery process. Therefore, Korean law should provide protection so as to assure attorney-client privilege and work-product immunity. Of course there are laws that protect attorney-client communication and work product, similar to attorney-client privilege and work-product immunity. However, these laws do not provide sufficient protection, and theories concerning them have not been discussed thoroughly. Recently a Korean district court prohibited the use of a seized written opinion of a lawyer as evidence, mentioning attorney-client privilege. As in the case stated above, theories concerning US attorney-client privilege and work-product immunity should be used to supplement Korean law.
다중 채널 다중 인터페이스 능동형 RFID 리더 및 프로토콜

433Mhz에서 단일 채널을 사용하는 ISO 18000-7 능동형 RFID 표준은 낮은 전송 속도, 단일 채널에 따른 간섭 문제 등으로 최근의 응용 요구를 충족시키는데 어려움이 있다. 2.4Ghz 대역에서 다수 채널을 사용하는 새로운 능동형 RFID 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 하나의 리더에 여러 개의 인터페이스를 장착하여 성능을 개선하는 방안이 특징이다. 그런데 다수의 인터페이스를 장착하여도 대부분의 태그들이 특정 인터페이스로 몰린다면 기대하는 성능 개선이 어렵다. 이를 극복하기 위해 인터페이스간 부하분배를 고려한 능동형 RFID 프로토콜이 필요하다. 우리는 단순결합, LP-조합, AP-균형이라는 세 가지 프로토콜을 제안하고 비교, 분석하였다. 태그의 수, 인터페이스 수, 태그의 부가 정보의 양 등을 변화시키면서 수행한 다양한 성능 평가 결과 AP-균형이 가장 우수한 성능을 보였다. AP-균형은 인터페이스 수에 거의 선형적으로 비례하여 성능이 증가하며 기대를 충족하였다. The ISO 18000-7 Active RFID standard, a single channel system operating in the 433Mhz, faces technical difficulties in supporting some recently introduced application demands because of its low transmission rates and radio interference between readers. We propose a new multi-channel active RFID system operating in the 2.4Ghz. The special feature of the proposed system is that a reader makes use of multiple interfaces to improve its performance like a multi-core processor. However if only a small part of interfaces are actually used, the performance improvement would not meet the expectation. To overcome this problem, a new multi-channel multi-interface active RFID protocol, which balances communication loads among all available interfaces, is necessary. 3 protocols, named as “Aggregated”, “LP-Combined”, “AP-Balanced”, are proposed. Through simulation, we compare them for various conditions by changing number of tags, number of interfaces, tag data size. AP-Balanced shows the best performance and its performance increases almost linearly as the number of interface increases, which meets our expectation.
