In this study, the pre-amplifiers were manufac-tured, which correspinds with the properties of signal source, For measuring the EMG, EEG, ECG and EOG``s signal, which are generated at human body, the pre-amplifiers were manufactured in this study which was corresponding with the propertiies of each signal source. So as to do, the bandwidth of filters and the amplitude of amplifiers were adaptively adjusted, according to signal source. Then, the usefulness was represented by showing the measured examples.
국소 전기자극이 백서의 임의형 피부판 생존에 미치는 영향

Many experimental studies have demonstrated beneficial effect of electrical field application to various hard and soft tissues. The present study was undertaken to determine if application if application of exogenous electric fields could improve survival rate of random pattern skin flap in rats. 32 Spraque-Dawley rats were divided into 4 groups and caudally based random pattern flaps of 2x8cm in size were elevated in all experimental animals. Silver electrodes were implanted into the fascia to apply the electrical stimulation(-5V, 0.2ms, 20hz) to the skin flap. Electrical stimulation was applied 3 times for 1 hour daily and it was continued to the 5th day. It is concluded that exogenous electrical stimulation shows a possibility of the enhancement of flap survival rates by increasing the rates to 3.2%(P<0.01).
흰쥐 해마에서 좌골신경의 전기자극에 의한 Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor mRNA의 발현

근위축의 예방을 위하여 사용되는 말초신경의 전기자극치료법이 중추신경계에서 유전자발현에 미치는 영향을 추구하고자 흰쥐의 좌골신경에 7일간의 간헐적 전기자극 후 척수 및 뇌에서 Northern blot hybridization과 in situ hybridization법을 이용하여 BDNF 및 cFos mRNA 유전자의 발현을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 1. 좌골신경에 전기자극을 가하지 않은 대조군의 척수, 해마, 대뇌피질 등에서 1.6Kbp의 길이를 갖는 BDNF mRNA의 방사선 밴드가 관찰되었으며 해마에서 BDNF mRNA의 발현이 저명하다. 2. 해마에서 일측 좌골신경에 간헐적 전기자극 1일 이후부터 BDNF mRNA의 발현량은 증가하였으며 7일 째에 250%로 발현량이 증가하여 대조군과 비교하여 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 관찰되었다(p<0.05). 3. In situ hybridization 법을 이용하여 해마에서 BNDF mRNA의 발현분포를 관찰하였는데 해마 구조물들 중에서 dentate gyrus에서 BNDF mRNA의 발현이 증가하였다. 4. 대뇌피질 및 척수에서 일측 좌골신경에 간헐적 전기자극을 실시한 후 BNDF mRNA의 발현이 대조군과 비교하여 전기자극 1일째 증가되었으나 유의한 차이는 관찰되지 않았고 3, 7일째에 약간 증가되었다. 5. 해마 및 대뇌 피질에서 일측 좌골신경의 전기자극 후 BDNF mRNA의 발현과 달리 cfos mRNA의 발현이 대조군과 비교하여 유의한 증감이 관찰되지 않았다. 이상의 실험결과들을 종합하면 말초신경에 단시간의 간헐적 전기자극이 해마에서 유전자 발현을 자극하여 해마의 기능변화 및 세포대사에 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of present study was to evaluate whether application of intermittent electrical stimulation to the peripheral nerve has an effect on expression of mRNA for brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) in the central nervous system of Sprague-Dalwey rats. Animals were divided into 2 experimental groups : control and electrical stimulation(ES). In ES group a pair of stainless steel electrodes was placed at mid-portion of the unilateral sciatic nerve. Square wave pluses with 5 sec ON- OFF pattern were applied to the sciatic nerve 4 hours a day for 7 days. Parameters for electrical stimulation were 20 Hz, 0.3 ms, 1 - 5 V. Animals were sacrificed 1, 3, 7 days after electrical stimulation and the cortex, hippocampus, and spinal cord were isolated to analyze the expression of mRNA for BDNF. Northern blotting and in situ hybridization were adapted for quantification and identification of cellular localization of BDNF mRNA expression, respectively. There was a significant increase in expression of BNDF mRNA in both sides of the hippocampus 7 days after electrical stimulation of the sciatic nerve. However, electrical stimulation had a minimal effect on BDNF mRNA expression in the cortex and spinal cord. These results suggest that short-term intermittent electrical stimulation take partly in transcriptional regulation of gene in hippocampus of rats.
