        한국 국립공원 산림생태계의 수목 탄소저장량 평가

        The purpose of this study is to quantitatively evaluate the amount of carbon storage for trees in forest ecosystem to support the foundation for carbon neutrality implementation in Korea National Park. It targeted 22 national parks designated and managed as national parks in Korea, and conducted research on forest trees in the terrestrial ecosystem among various natural and ecological carbon sink. The survey and analysis method followed the IPCC guidelines and the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory in Korea. The amount of tree carbon storage in the forest ecosystem of Korea National Park was confirmed to be about 218,505 thousand CO<sub>2</sub>-ton and the amount of carbon storage per unit area was 570.8 CO<sub>2</sub>-ton per hectare. Compared to 299.7 CO<sub>2</sub>-ton per hectare, the average carbon storage per unit area of the entire Korean forest, it was found that about twice as much carbon was stored when assuming the same area. In other words, it means that the tree carbon storage function of the national park is about twice as high as that of the average tree carbon storage function of entire Korean forest. It has great implications in Korea National Park not only provides biodiversity promotion and exploration services as a national protected area, but also performs excellent functions as a carbon sink.

        대전시 도시숲의 식생 및 토양특성에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to suggest appropriate methods for management of urban forest after investigating the present condition and problems of urban forests by analyzing vegetation and soil properties in urban forests in the Daejeon. On the basis of our research, Pinus rigida dominate Gyejoksan and Bomunsan. Pinus densiflora dominate Wolpyeong park and Quercus acutissima dominate Namsun park. On the basis of our result of analysis of soil chemical properties, all investigated areas have low pHs, available phosphates and exchangeable cations. They indicate that the soil of those areas have been acidifying progressively. Soil hardness measurements were conducted to know the conditions of trampled soils and the results of them show that soil hardness in Namsun park was higher than the others. This indicates that human interference affect the health of the urban forest.

        방사선조사가 임프란트의 골유착에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the Co-60 γ irradiation on the osseointegration. 2.0 mm titanium alloy screw implants(Sankin Industry Co. Ltd., Japan) were placed in the tibial metaphysis of the rabbits, bilaterally. The mean length of the implants was 6.0 mm. The right tibia was irradiated with a single dose of 15Gy from 60Co teletherapic machine at 5th postoperative day. The experimental group was irradiated tibia. The control group was non­irradiated tibia. To observe the phase of bone formation, the bone labeling by intramuscular injection of 20mg/Kg of Tetracycline, Calcein, Alizarin red S, was performed. The rabbits were sacrificed on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th week and the tibia including implants were taken, and then the specimens were examined by the microradiography, light microscopy, and fluorescent microscopy. The obtained results were as follows: 1. There were connective tissue between bone and titanium at 1st week, in both group. Especially, the many empty lacunae without nucleus and obscure cytoplasm in experimental group, were observed. 2. The osteons were observed at 4th week in control group, and at 6th week in experimental group. The bone formation in experimental group was retarded as compared to the control group. 3. In fluorescent microscopy, bone labelling band was observed as linear, arc or concentric shape. Occasionary interrupted labelling band was observed, which is demonstrated bone remodeling. 4. In microradiographic examination, the radiolucent image was found between bone and implant with widening of bone marrow spaces as compared to the control group.

        $ITI^{(R)}$ implant system에 있어서 $Bio-Oss^{(R)}$와 $Bio-Gide^{(R)}$를 이용한 발치 후 즉시 임플란트의 유용성

        In the recent studies, many authors have reported that the success rate of immediate implantation has no difference compared to conventional staged implantation. Although the immediate implantation has many advantages over conventional approach, many clinicians don't seem to practice because they think that most of the extraction sockets will have some bony gab with defects around implant and that this situation makes the result of immediate implantation unpredictable. We clinically analyzed 23 implanted sites of 18 patients treated with immediate implantation in our hospital from September 2003 to January 2004. The $ITI^{(R)}$. dental implant system was used and GBR procedure with $Bio-Oss^{(R)}$. and $Bio-Gide^{(R)}$. was done simultaneously. The pre & post-op. measurements were recorded such as alveolar crest-adjacent tooth CEJ distance, gingival crest-adjacent tooth CEJ distance, existence of periapical lesion, vertical defect around the extraction socket, horizontal defect around the extraction socket, probing depth, radiologic change of alveolar crest height. We report a positive outcome about immediate implantation with review of literatures.

        실험적으로 제작한 Videodensitometer의 디지털 영상처리와 임상적 적용에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to propose the utility which was evaluated the digital image processing and clinical application of the videodensitomery. The experiments were performed with IBM-PC/16bit-AT compatible, video camera(CCdtr55, Sony Co., Japan), an color monitor(MultiSync 3D, NEC, Japan) providing the resolution of 512×480 and 64 levels of gray. Sylvia Image Capture Board for the ADC(analog to digital converter) was used, composed of digitized image from digital signal and the radiographic density was measured by 256 level of gray. The periapical radiograph(Ektaspeed EP-21, Kodak Co., U. S. A) which was radiographed dried human mandible by exposure condition of 70 kVp and 48 impulses, was used for primary X-ray detector. And them evaluated for digitzed image by low and high pass filtering, correlations between aluminum equivalent values and the thickness of aluminum step wedge, aluminum equivalent values of sound enamel, dentin, and alveolar bone, the range of diffuse density for gray level ranging from 0 to 255. The obtained results were as follows: 1. The edge between aluminum steps of digitized image were somewhat blurred by low pass filtering, but edge enhancement could be resulted by high pass filtering. Expecially, edge enhancement between distal root of lower left 2nd molar and alveolar lamina dura was observed. 2. The correlation between aluminum equivalent values and the thickness of aluminum step wedge was intimated, yielding the coefficient of correlation r=0.9997(p<0.00l), the regression line was described by Y=0.9699X+0.456, and coefficient of variation amounting to 1.5%. 3. The aluminum equivalent values of sound enamel, dentin, and alvolar bone were 15.41㎜, 12.48㎜, 10.35㎜, respectively. 4. The range of diffuse density for gray level ranging from 0 to 255 was wider enough than that of photodenstiometer to be within the range of 1-4.9.

        와파린(Warfarin) 투여 환자의 치과 치료

        Warfarin is an anticoagulant involved in the production of vitamin K dependent blood clotting factors. Dentists should be familiar with the appropriate assessment methods and considerations for the treatment of patients taking warfarin. Dental surgery with the moderate risk of bleeding can be performed without stopping the drug through preoperative examination of the INR(international normalized ratio) value and evaluation. When performing a surgery with a high risk of bleeding, it is necessary to evaluate whether the drug can be discontinued, what the duration is, and the risk of discontinuation. Hemostasis can be obtained by local methods in most cases of postoperative bleeding in patients taking appropriately adjusted doses of warfarin.

        방사선 치료에 의해 발생한 골육종의 치험례

        The 44 years old man was consulted to our department due to restriction of mouth opening. On radiograph, we found bony expansive lesion at right mandibular ramus and temporal bone that it was suspected malignant tumor. So we had performed incisional bone biopsy at right ramus through skin incision. The result of biopsy was osteosarcoma. Then, he had experienced radiation therapy for the protection of recurrence after several times surgery of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma, 28 years ago. So, we concluded radiation induced osteosarcoma from his radiation therapy history. He had referred to the department of hematooncology because of severe expansion to skull base and was received 4 times chemotherapy with cisplatin and adriamycin, but he was expired just after 4th chemotherapy. Such radiation induced osteosarcoma have relative good prognosis due to rare metastasis from other reports. So if it will early detect from close follow up after radiation therapy, survival rate will rise up. But we missed early detection of our case. So, we report a case of rare radiation induced osteosarcoma. Ly detection of our case.

        Micro-HPLC/IS/MS에 의한 수 중의 Microcystins (LR, YR 및 RR)의 분석

        Microcystin-LR, -YR 및 -RR과 같은 독성 microcystin의 분석에 있어서 정확성을 높이기 우해 고상 추출을 통한 micro-HPLC/IS/MS를 사용하였다. 이러한 microcystin-LR, -YR, -RR를 확인하는데 HPLC/UV로는 238nm에서의 흡광도를 측정하였고, 질량스펙트럼에서는 1 35m/z 및 $[M+H]^+$m/z의 특성 피이크만을 검출하여 왔다. 본 연구에서는 이중 전하에 해당하는 새로운 선들이 LR에서는 507m/z, PR에서는m/z, YR에서는 532m/z에서 추가로 검출되었다. 이 방법을 사용하여 대청호에서 독성 microcystin의 존재성을 조사하였다. Micro-HPLC/IS/MS after solid phase extraction has been employed to enhance the accu-racy in the determination of toxic microcystins, such as microcystin-LR, -YR and -RR. The absorbance at 238 nm in HPLC/UV and characteristic spectra of 135 m/z and $[M+H]^+$ m/z in MS have been widely monitored to identify those microcystin-LR, -YR and -RR. In this study, new lines at 507 m/z for LR, 520 m/z for RR and 532 m/z for YR have been additionally detected in the micro-HPLC/IS/MS spectrum, corresponding to double charge. The micro-HPLC/IS/MS methodology has been applied to investigate the presence of the toxic microcystins in Taecheong lake.

        계룡산 상부 지역의 산림식생

        본 연구는 계룡산 국립공원내 해발 650m이상의 산림 식생을 대상으로 식물사회학적 방법으로 산림군락을 분류하여 계룡산 국립공원 관리에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 계룡산 상부지역의 총 51개 조사구를 분석한 결과, 산림군락은 신갈나무군락, 서어나무군락, 소나무군락 및 굴참나무군락으로 구분되었다. 신갈나무군락은 29개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 신갈나무, 좁은단풍, 천남성, 용수염, 은분취 이다. 서어나무군락은 10개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 서어나무, 까치박달, 층층나무, 대사초, 산수국이다. 소나무군락은 7개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 소나무, 조록싸리, 산딸기, 참억새, 이삭여뀌, 맑은대쑥, 큰기름새이다. 굴참나무군락은 5개 조사구에서 나타났으며, 군락 구분종은 굴참나무이다. The purpose of this study was to understand plant community structure in upper zone of Gyeryongsan National Park. Total 51 plots were set up and surveyed for this study. The fifty one plots were classified into four communities such as Quercus mongolica community, Carpinus laxiflora community, Pinus densiflora community, and Quercus variabilis community. The Quercus mongolica community were found in 29 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Quercus mongolica, Acer pseudosieboldianum var. koreanum, Arisaema amurense var. serratum, Diarrhena japonica, and Saussurea gracilis. The Carpinus laxiflora community were found in 10 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Carpinus laxiflora, Carpinus cordata, Cornus controversa, Carex siderosticta, and Hydrangea serrata for. acuminata. The Pinus densiflora community were found in 7 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Pinus densiflora, Lespedeza maximowiczii, Rubus crataegifolius, Miscanthus sinensis, Persicaria faliforme, Artemisia keiskeana, and Spodiopogon sibiricus. The Quercus variabilis community were found in 5 plots of the 51 plots and the differential species in the community were Quercus variabilis.
