When water soluble polymer is applied to various kinds of fluid transportation systems, it is predicted that the application could be used for the progress of pump capacity and so forth in the fluid transportation. But in the condition of the poorly evolved theories concerning the development of turbulence in the turbulent flow of the viscosity fluid and the dynamics of polymer, actually it is very difficult to develop the fixed quantity analysis. When polymer is also flowing in the fluid transportation system, the degradation which has very close relation with the phenomena of drag reduction occurs necessarily. This study has been focussing on a searching examination for the experimental study considering the mechanical degradation and the thermal degradation in the closed system to find out the conditions which could improve the pump capacity in the heat union electric power plant and so on.

The introduction of a digiral subscriber loop transmission system necessitates an optimized line interface solution. To meet this objective an adaptive line equalizer has been developed. The equalizer can be compensated up to 42 dB line loss at 200KHz, and operated up to 3.2 Km transmission length (0.4 mm\ulcornercable)at a rate of 400Kb/s. This has been builted using a variable \ulcorner equalizer to compensate a frequency-attenuation characteristics of metallic cable, an AGC (automatic gain control) circuits with simple control algorithm, and various filters to minimize a transmission constraints over subscriber loop. The purpose of this paper is to present a short description of a design of the adaptive line equalizer with a summary of implementation results. Some design concepts and considerations which results in an implementation of the equalizer are also given.
천변저류지 조성에 따른 효과분석 : (1) 홍수조절 및 생태적인 효과

최근에 들어서 홍수조절과 생태적 기능을 모두 만족시키는 방안으로서 천변저류지에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 경상남도 창녕군의 토평천 유역을 대상으로 하여 우포늪의 상류 및 중하류에 분포하는 천변저류지를 조성하였을 경우 천변저류지로 인한 홍수조절 효과와 생태적인 효과를 검토하였다. 연구 결과 천변저류지로 인하여 홍수 조절 및 생물다양성 증진 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 여러 천변저류지의 형식이나 조합에 따라서 효과는 상이하게 나타났다. 따라서 천변저류지를 설치할 경우 단순 홍수조절 효과만을 고려하여 평가하기 보다는 다양한 효과 분석을 통해 천변저류지를 조성하여야 할 것으로 판단된다. In recent, we have a growing interest in the wash land construction as a measure of flood control and as a wetland with ecological function in the river. This study performed the flood control analysis and investigated the ecological effect for washland construction plan in Topyoung-cheon basin in Changyeong-gun, Gyeongnam. Several cases were considered for the washland construction on Topyoung-cheon basin, and we analyzed flood stage reduction and flood inundation for each case. From the result of flood control analysis, we found some significant results according to the combination of each wash land case. We also found that the wash land construction gave the positive results in biodiversity. Therefore, it will be desirable to consider various effects such as flood control, ecological aspects, and so on for the wash land construction.
