In order to establish optimal seeding date and nitrogen fertilization of adlay in barley-dlay cropping system of south-eastern part of Korea, yield and its components of adlay grown under at 3 different seeding dates and 2 nitrogen fertilizations were compared and analyzed. In addition, edible nutriants of adlay grain were compared with rice and woheat, between upland and paddy cultivation, and among three cultivars. The results obtained are summarized as follow: 1.Heading date and maturity date was fasted later seeding date than early seeding. Days to heading was decreased as the seeding date was delayed. 2.Stem leagth, stem diameter and No. of tiller were increased irrigation than control(non-irrigation), and was decreased as the seeding date was delayed. 3.Top and root dry weight were increased moisture were decreased irrigation than control(non-irrigation), and was decreased as the seeding date was delayed. 4.Net photosynthetic rate was increased at treatment of irrigation. Key word : adlay, seeding daye, soil water content, photosynthesis, growth.

Endotoxin crystals produced by B.thuringiensis var. darmstadiensis cultured in modified GYS medium over 72 h were ovoidal in shape and separated using Renografin gradient centrifugation. The crystal protein bands were observed. When B.thuringiensis var sotto was grown in the modified GYS broth, it entered stationary phase at 8-9 h after inoculation. Proteinaceous crystals were banded at the position in 40% of Renografin gradient. The solubilized crystal proteins were formed by two bands, 130 Kd and 68 Kd in the SDS-PAGE. One plasmid was observed in B.thuringiensis var darmstadiensis and no plasmid in var. sotto in this study. Enzyme activity of amylase produced B.thuringiensis var kurstaki strain in the basal medium was 0.4 units per ml, and was enhanced to 0.6 units per ml in the basal medium contained soluble starch, Ca^++, Mg^++ and Mn^++ ions. Amylase production medium containing soluble starch was suitable for the amylase production and the highest activity appeared at 4-6 h after cultivation at 32℃. The amylase activity obtained by ethanol precipitation was 0.20 units per ml in 0.1 M phosphate buffer. The band of the molecular weight of 50 Kd was observed by SDS-PAGE analysis. Km value of the amylase for the soluble starch was 6.80 mg per ml.

The purpose of this study was to reform practically a Korean Judo's Doechigi-Bon(Forms of Counterattack, judo's Gaeshi no Kata, Judo's Uradori no Kata, Judo's Gonosen no Kata) that was established in 1955 Korea, according to changing of techniques by Judo's modernization, in order to have Judo's carefulness and systematic diffusion. Reform procedure of Judo's Doechigi-Bon was 1st stage, Questionnaire survey 303 judokas, 2nd stage, Technical seminar by judo experts(12 judo professor) 4 times, 3rd stage, wording report for reform, 4rd stage, Discussion and judgement of Teaching and Judgement commission of Korean judo Association(KJA), 5th stage, Public hearing for reform in KJA, 6th stage, Report and decision of board of directors in KJA, 7th stage, public publication of Judo News(No.53) in KJA. Basic principle of reform of Judo's Doechigi-Bon were as table 1. Table 1. Basic principle of reform of Judo's Doechigi-Bon ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items Reformed Key Points of Judo's Doechigi-Bon ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Structure 1) Grand classification : Classified by 3 parts(1,2,3Gyo) 2)Medium classification : Te waza, Goshi waza, Ashi waza devided per each part(Gyo) 3)Sub-classification : Classified five techniques per each part(Gyo) 2. Contents 1) Selected established techniques as possible 2) Considered rationalty and overlapping of counterattack techniques 3. Decision of Conterattack techniques 1) Refered to results of Basic Questionnaire survey 2) Priority to decisions of Judo expert technical seminar -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reformed Korean Judo's Doechigi-Bon(Forms of Counterattack techniques-KJA, 1999) are as follows: 1. Gyo; ① Uki otoshi -> Uchi mata ② Harai goshi -> Harai goshi gaeshi ③ O soto gari -> O soto gake ④ Ko uchi gari -> Sasae tsurikomi ashi ⑤ O uchi gari -> Ko soto gari 2. A rapid pneumatic transfer system (PTS) for an instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) is developed as an automatic irradiation facility involving the measurement of a short half-life nuclide and a delayed neutron counting system. Three new PTS designs with improved functions were constructed at the HANARO research reactor in 2006. The new system is composed of a manual system and an automatic system for both an INAA and a delayed neutron activation analysis (DNAA). The design and basic conception of a modified PTS are described, and the functions of system operation and control, radiation protection and emissions of radioactive gas are improved. In addition, a form of capsule transportation of these systems is tested. The experimental results pertaining to the irradiation characteristics with variation of the neutron flux and the temperature of the irradiation position with the irradiation time are presented, as is an analysis of the reference material for analytical quality control and uncertainty assessments.

This paper describes the results of an irradiation test and the specifications of the pneumatic transfer system (PTS) in the NAA #3 irradiation hole at the HANARO research reactor, which was reinstalled after some modifications of the operation mode at the end of 2004. The outer and inner diameters of the PE transfer tube are 34.1 and 27.5 mm, respectively. PE rabbit was used for sample irradiation. The $N_2$ gas pressure of the PTS lines was adjusted to 0.75 bar. The average sending time to the reactor was $8.5{\pm}0.3$ s and the average receiving time back to the receiver was $3.2{\pm}0.2$ s. The internal and external temperature of the irradiation tube was measured in a range of 50 to $80^{\circ}C$ for a 40 s to 80 s irradiation time, respectively. The optimum irradiation time was estimated to be less than 80 s. The thermal, epithermal and fast neutron flux at 30 MW thermal power were $1.42{\pm}0.01{\times}10^{14},\;1.51{\pm}0.04{\times}10^{13}$ and $9.48{\pm}0.69{\times}10^{11} n{\cdot}cm^{-2}{\codt}s^{1-}$, respectively. The cadmium ratio was approximately 9.40. The data obtained will be applied to supplement user information and for reactor management.
