The conversion of sludge from pulping operation to fuel-ethanol is very useful. In this study, primary sludge was shown to be hydrolysed to produce fermentable sugars at a rate proportional to enzyme loading.Initial (1 hour)hydrolysis rate as high as 12.6g reducing sugar/L.h was observed at an initial enzyme loading of 10 filter paper units (FPU)/g. Hydrolysis was inhibited by spent sulphite liquor(SSL), an inhibition which could be completely overcome by fermenting the SSL to remove sugars. To reduce the deleterious effects of end product inhibition, single stage simultaneous hydrolysis and fermentation was carried out using cellulase enzymes and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
광열전사 기반 고해상도 OLED 화소 제작을 위한 잉크젯 프린팅 잉크 기술 개발

잉크젯 공정은 박막 형성 공정 및 패터닝 공정부분에서 장점을 가지고 있다. 우선 잉크젯 공정에서는 리소그라피 공정과 같이 마스크가 필요하지 않으며, 이에 따라 현상 및 식각 공정이 필요하지 않게 되어 공정이 대폭 줄어들게 된다. 추가로 잉크젯 공정은 비접촉 직접 패터닝 방식으로 기판에 접촉이 없어 공정으로 인한 기판 손상이 없다. 하지만 잉크젯 공정에 단점은 미세 패턴에 대한 한계에 있으며, 현재 이를 해결하기 위해서 전처리나 후처리에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 700ppi 급의 고해상도 OLED 화소 형성을 위해 잉크젯에 적용 가능한 잉크를 개발하고 패턴에 안정적으로 인쇄가 가능한 연구를 수행하였다.

Recently one of the serious transportation problem is a parking problem. The parking problem is serious in metropolises and small and medium-sized cities too. Ways to solve the parking problem need correct parking survey data and understanding of the parking situation. However, present parking surveys are expensive and inefficient because they use humans. Therefore, the paper conducts a study on the parking survey method and parking characteristic analysis. The parking characteristic analysis used data by the parking survey method.
침적법에 의한 천연고무 라텍스 필름의 기계적 특성에 관한 연구

The vulcanized NR film was prepared with mixing natural rubber latex(NRL) with various additives by dipping process. The optimum conditions such as the nature time and swelling degree were investigated. NR-t-PST films were prepared to decrease stickiness by modifying surface of NR film with NR/PST(Ⅰ, Ⅱ) solution,and their mechanical properties like tensile strength and elongation were measured. Tensile strength of NR-t-PST(Ⅰ) was increased with increasing blending ratio of PST(Ⅰ) but that of NR-t-PST(Ⅱ) as independent of blending ratio of PST(Ⅱ). Their elongation was also independent of blending ratio of PST(Ⅰ, Ⅱ).

The recent development of microsurgical tissue transfer has enabled any defect in any area to be reconstructed with free flaps. However, the need for a more functional and thinner flap has been raised due to bullkiness of the flap and donorsite morbidity. For better functional and aesthetic results, various perforator flaps excluding muscles or adjacent subcutaneous tissue have been recently reported. We report 44 cases of perforating artery pedicled flaps from April 1995 to August 1998, including 21 cases of anterolateral thigh flap, 12 cases of gluteal artery perforator flap, 4 cases of posterior interosseous flap, and 7 cases of paraumbilical perforator flap for various soft tissue defects. Even though marginal necrosis of flap occurred in 9 cases, complete healing without significant problem was possible. The advantages of perforator flaps are as follows: 1. It is possible to obtain a relatively thin fasciocutaneous flap, but still with sufficient volume 2. Donor site morbidity was reduced without damage of main artery. 3. In spite of diverse vascular pattern of the perforator, the location of perforating arteries can be Detected with relative ease and mapped preoperatively with an ultrasound Doppler. The need of meticulous and tedious dissection could be a sole disadvantage of these flaps. This report describes the clinical experience with a perforator-based flap, anticpating applications of many other types of perforator flap in the future.

We reviewed a series of 75 pericardiocenteses, using an atraumatic indwelling catheter, comprising all those performed in the lntensive Care Unit from Jan. 1981 to Dec. 1984 and assessed the method, benefits and risks of pericardiocentesis. Pericardial fluid was obtained in 92 of the patients. Underlying diseases were as follow: neoplastic disease (52.0%), tuberculosis (21.4%), pyopericardium (8.0%), hemopericardium (5.3%), congestive heart failure (4.0%), primary idiopathic pericarditis (4.0%), rheumatic disease, chronic renal failure, postpericardiotomy syndrome, in order. Specific etiologic diagnosis of neoplasm, tuberculosis and pyoperioardium were made in 31 patients (41.3%) by the examination of the pericardial fluid. Chemotherapeutic agents were instillated to pericardial cavity through indwelling pericardial catheter in 24 patients. On the basis of the operative results, the patients were separated into three groups for comparison: successful pericardiocentesis (88.0%)-successful and sufficient pericardiocentesis (64,0%), successful and insufficient pericardiocentesis (24.0%); failed pericardiocentesis (8.0%); complicated pericardiocentesis (4.0%). Complications consisted of one death after right ventricular punture, one right ventricular punture without adverse sequelae, and one induced hemopericardium. Pericardiocentesis using indwelling catheter permits continuous pericardial drainage, obviating repeated aspirations; provides a convenient route for intrapericardial instillation of chemotherapeutic agents; and enables one to await the relults of diagnostic studies without sujecting a patient to surgery.

Metal-tetraaminophthalocyanine (metal : Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II)) were synthesized, and these functional metal complexes were attatched to styrene-methacrylic acid copolymers. Metal-phthalocyanine and metal-phthalocyanine bonded copolymers were characterized by spectroscopic analysis. The decomposition catalytic reaction of hydrogen peroxide by metal-phthalocyanine bonded copolymers was carried out in heterogeneous aquous media at pH7. Ni(II) and Cu(II) -phthalocyanine not showed catalytic activity but Co(II)-phthalocyanine and Co(II)-phthalocyanine bonded copolymer showed catalase-like activity. The kinetics of the catalytic reaction was also investigated and the reaction proceeds according to the Michaellis-Menten type reaction.
