        Gas pressure welding is a general process used in the field of steel bar. However. parent material diameter and Bulge diameter ratio is reasonable from 1.3D to 1.6D for gas pressure welding. Also. butt joint gas pressure welding has more superiority weldability and mechanical property than lapjoint are welding for steel bar. Furthermore, the bulge relation could be used more widely in rail welding or defference material welding by gas pressure welding.

      • 영유아保健에 關한 서울市 一部 母性의 知識 態度 및 實踐의 調査

        A study was carried out on the knowledge, attitude and practice of mothers with regard to infant and child health from Sept. 10, 1969 to Sept. 25, 1969 at Well Baby Clinic of National Medical Center. Two hundreds and fifty mothers, who formed a maternal group registered at Well Baby clinic of National Medical Center from Jan. 1, 1969 to Aug. 31, 1969, were investigated toward K.A.P. on pregnancy, delivery, nutritional care and vaccinations. This survey entailed the following conclusions. 1) Those mothers in ages 25-59 constituted the largest proportion(54.0%) of whole respondents and the average age of mothers was 28.5 years. 2) The largest proportion of the respondents were occupied by those with college back ground(39.6%). Otherwise uneducated mother was not found out in this surney. 3) The most frequent age of the first delivery was in the 25-29(66.2%) and the average age of the first delivery was 26.6 years. 4) Only 27.6% of those lived with her parents in law. 5) About a half of mothers (54.8%) had acquired the knowledge on pregnancy, delivery and reproductive physiology before marriage, while 16.9% of all mothers with high educational back ground acquired it after pregnancy experienced. 6) About 69.6% of all respondents had been checked up regular antenatal care. 7) The commonest reasons why those hadn't been checked up regular antenatal care depended on their knowledge and attitude, which presented the remarkable difference between knowledge and practice. 8) During pregnancy, Only 26.0% of those mother had taken balanced diet or Supplementary diet. In other wise the practice on nutritional care compared with knowledge was lower in real. 10) Regarding the most important and commonly deficient nutrient in infancy and childhood, 68.4% of those knew as protein correctly. 11) Regarding the starting period of weaning, 55.2% of mother knew as 5-6 months correctly. 12) Regarding the starting period of solid food, only 21.6% of mother knew before 3 months. 13) In practice of main diet and weaning diet, their baby aged 0-3 months seemed to be fed with only breast milk in the highest proportio455.8%). It was exchanged with weaning diet aged 7-6 months(77.7%). And so there was a tendency to be late in real more or less. 14) The tendency was observed that the supplement diet was attached importance to vitamin only by low educated mothers sod there was a tendency to depend upon solid food especially than vitamin in high education. 15) About 43.0% of all mothers knew the beginning period of primary vaccinations, 54.4% of all mothers recognized the next vaccination, 94.4% of their were immunized as schedule, which presented the remarkable difference among knowledge, attitude and practice.

        The Effect of Magnetic Fields for Laser Welding Process using Carbon Steel

        A Multi-physics numerical model was developed to investigate the influence of a steady magnetic field aligned perpendicular to the welding direction during partial penetration fiber laser beam welding of carbon steel(SCP1-S) in down hand position. Two-dimensional fluid dynamics including phase transition and electromagnetic field partial differential equations were successfully solved with the finite element differential equation solver COMSOL Multiphysic 3.5. The use of magnetic fields to influence weld bead shape and dilution in laser welding of SCP1-S alloys was recently suggested. However, the interaction mechanisms between the SCP1-S melt and the magnetic field are not understood in detail yet, and consequently, the selection of process parameters is so far purely empirical. In this paper, recent results of a study to elucidate interaction mechanisms between a laser-induced melt pool and a magnetic field will be reported and discussed. Based on analytical models for the main potential interaction mechanisms, the relevance to typical welding conditions was assessed. The flow pattern in the melt as well as the weld bead geometry was significantly changed by the induced Lorentz force distribution in the liquid metal. The governing mechanisms identified were implemented into a COMSOL model for laser welding and the effect of the magnetic field on the resulting melt flow was investigated. To validate the results, welding trials were performed on a model system allowing to easily visualizing the effect of melt flow on melt bead dynamics using optical microscopy.

      • 공동주택 거주자의 화재안전 및 소방시설 인지에 관한 조사 평가

        우리나라의 대표적 주거유형인 공동주택은 화재에 취약한 구조로 되어 있으며, 기술적 방법 외에 홍보 및 교육을 통한 해결방법도 필요하다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 관점에서 공동주택 거주자를 대상으로화재예방에 대한 인식, 소방시설의 인지 등의 내용에 관한 설문조사를 통해 공동주택 거주자에게 어떠한 교육 및 홍보가 필요한지를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 자기 집의 화재발생 가능성에 대해서는 평상시에는 하지 않으나 TV 등에서 화재 관련 방송이 있을 때 한다는 의견이 많았으며, 화재 관련 지식은 TV, 모바일 등 방송통신매체가 바람직하다는 의견이 다수였다. 옥내소화전설비 등 건물 내에 설치되어 있는 소방시설은 다수가 인지하고 있었으나, 사용방법까지 습득하고 있는 비율은 높지 않았다. 화재가 발생했을 때 유용한 대피수단인 경량칸막이의 존재를 알고 있는 비율, 그리고 세대 내에서 경보음이 울렸을 때 화재라 생각하고 바로 건물 밖으로 나간다는 비율은 매우 낮아, 이에 대한 홍보의 필요성이 절실하다. As the apartment houses which has become our country’s typical dwelling, is vulnerable to fire, not only technical method but also publicity and education is necessary to solve this problem. The purpose of this study is to understand what kind of publicity and education is necessary to solve this problem. The study has been carried out by questionnaire survey. Respondents is not usually aware of outbreaking the fire of their own houses except that they watch the news about fire on TV etc. Fire fighting facility such as standpipe and hose station, is known to many respondents, but the ratio of knowing the direction of the facility is not so high. Many respondents do not know light weight dry wall which is very useful for evacuation when fire outbreak, so publicity of light weight dry wall is very necessary.
