      • 韓國人 手指掌側皮膚 Meissner 小體의 分布狀態에 關한 硏究

        In order to observe the numerical changes of Meissner's corpuscles in the palmar aspect of the distal phalanx, 3x5mm² punch excision specimen in the thumb, index and little finger from the 65 cadavers(male 42, female'23) between the ages of 26 and 78 years were collected and the numbers of Meissner's corpuscles per unit areas could be calculated from the known surface area and the total number of corpuscles in the specimen. And the collected date were analyzed by the age of the subject and the different site of finger. The results are summarized as follows: 1. In the 21-40 and 61-80 age group, the mean concentration of Meissner's corpuscles was more marked at the index finger, in the 41-60 it was more notable at the thumb. Therefore, the mean concentration of Meissner's corpuscles in the different site of the hand was differed in conformity with the age of the subject. 2. The decrease in the mean concentration of Meissner's corpuscles with increasing age was the most remakable in the 61-80 age group and in the thumb it was marked in comparision with that of the index finger. 3. In the same age group, the mean concentration of Meissner's corpuscles in the digital pad appeared to be no clear-cut difference between the right and left hand (p<0. 1) and appeared a similarly declining tendency in the both sides. 4. In the area of the distribution of the median nerve, the mean concentration of the Meissner's corpuscles was higher than that of the area of the distribution of the ulnar nerve and the decrease in the mean concentration with increasing age was more conspicuous in the ulnar side.

      • 鷄胎器官에 미치는 Rifampin의 抑制效果

        In order to analyzed the effects of rifampin on the growth of each organs of embryonated egg, 2mg per egg of rifampin were injected into the chorioallantoic sac on the 6th of embryonated egg. Control and experimental group of eggs was broken on the 18th day of incubation for weighting the body weight and various organs-heart, liver, lung, kidney, and brain of chick embryo, and difference of effects were analyzed by discriminant function method. The results were as follow; 1. By discriminant function method, different effects was conspicuous between control group and rifampin 2mg per egg injected group. 2. Mean of discriminant value was 22.87 in control group and 12.63 in rifampin injected group. 3. Discriminant limit value was 17. 75 and the error of discrimination was 11 percent.

        In order to discriminate face by pattern, author measured six items on the photograph and analysed them by discriminant Function method. The results were summarized as follows : 1. There were noticeable differences between P-group and Q-group. (P<0.01) 2. Discriminant value was 106.2 in P-group, 96.2 in Q-group and the discriminant limit value was 101.2. 3. Errors of discrimination was 0.11.

        The author measured cross-section slices which was sliced by the slicing machine as l㎝ thitk and them made into museums by polyester resin in 10 Korean adult males. The results obtained are as follows: 1. We can know about the position, structural interrelation and measured from skin surface of the intrathoracic organs by the polyester resin museums. 2. The patterns of the lungs were similar each other, but the hearts pattern were b>c> a>d.

      • 成長阻害가 器官相互關係에 依한 類型의 差異에 對하여

        Authors intended to analyze and compare difference by pattern between effects of Dactinomycin injected group and Rifampin injected group, on the 6th day of incubation, 2㎍ Dactinomycin and 4mg Rifampin were injected into the chorioallantoic sac, and each group was brocken on the 18th day of incubation for weighing the body Weight and five organs-brain heart, lung, liver, and kidney of chick embryos, and difference of patterns were analyzed by discriminant function method. The results were summarized as follows 1. By appling discriminant function method, difference of pattern was recognized significantly between Dactinomycin injected group and Rifampin injected group(P<0.05). 2. Error of discrimination was 0.016 in the individual analysis.

      • Vitamin A 및 B_1 이 Aflatoxin B_1의 임신 및 기형형성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        For the study on the effect of aflatoxin B₁on rats and their fetuses and the influence of vitamin A and vitamin B₁on aflatoxin B₁-induced effects, the Spragu-Dawley rats (body weight 200-250gm) were used as experimental animals and aflatoxin B₁, retinol palmitate(vitamin A) and thiamine chloride (vitamin B₁) of Sigma Chemicals were used as chemical agents. The results were obtained as followings; 1. The number of pregnant sacs and fetuses were decreased in aflatoxin B₁ treated group significantly compared with untreated control group. 2. The fetal body weight was decreased in aflatoxin B₁treated group significantly compared with untreated control group. 3. The congenital malformations induced by aflatoxin B₁ in this study were 8 cases of tumorous formation on the head, 6 cases of umbilical hernia and 2 cases of severe growth retardation. 4. Aflatoxin B₁induced toxic effect on pregnancy and growth inhibition effect on fetuses were inhibited by vitamin A. 5. It was considered that vitamin B₁ has no effects on aflatoxin B₁-induced toxic, growth inhibitory & teratogenic effects on pregnancy and their fetuses.

      • 人蔘이 抗癌劑의 副作用에 미치는 影響

        5-fluorouracil and mitomycin C are used extensively for cancer therapy in the clinical part. But they have been known to possess various the side effects, such as depression of the bone marrow, and of the kindney, etc. These side effects became the limited factors for the cancer therapy. The object of this study was to investigate the route that is reduced the side effects. And, then, 5--fluorouracil and mitomycin C selected were administered with or/without the water extract of Panax ginseng through the ear vein of the rabbits. The period of injection was for a week at first, and then every other week for 35 days. And it was attempted to compare the the effects to inject with or/without the ginseng extract. The results were summarized as follow: 1. The number of r. b. c. was not affected by the administration of anticancer agents with or/without the ginseng extract. 2. The number of w. b. c, was decreased significantly by the administration of anticancer agents with or/without the ginseng extract. But the degree of decrement in the group to be injected with the ginseng extract was more inhibited significantly than that of the group to be injected the agent alone. 3. Urine flow, renal plasma flow, glomerular filtration rate and urinary excretion of sodium were decreased significantly by the administraction of the agents with or/without the ginseng extract, respectively. But the degree of decrement in the group to be injected with the ginseng extract was more inhibited significantly than that of the group to be injected the agent alone. From the above result, it was suggested that the water extract of Panax ginseng may be reduced the side effects of anticancer agents, 5-fluorouracil and mitomycin C.

        A case of Sternalis which was found during dissection of cadaver at the school of medicine of Chungnam National University is reported. The main findings were as follows; 1. This Sternalis is formed with Rt. & Lt. Sternalis muscles and each has lateral and medial bellies. 2. The origins of this Sternalis are the 6th and 7th costal cartilages and the lateral margin of the sternum at the level of the 5th costal cartilage. 3. The insertions of this Sternalis are the aponeurosis of the Piatysma and the midpoint of the manubrium sterni. 4. This Sternalis may he the continuous muscle of Platysma, so that this Sternalis is probably the remains of the cutaneous muscle. 5. This Sternalis may be accompanied by the anomalies of the surrounding muscles.

        The number and distribution of the retinal ganglion cells in the 1-week-old and 7-week-old ducks were determined from whole flat mounted preparations stained with methylene blue and thionin. The results were summarized as follows. 1. In the 1-week-old and 7-week-old ducks, the areas of the retinas were 269.4㎟ and 357.2㎟, respectively, and the total cell numbers 1,742,800 and 1,808,800, respectively. 2. The ganglion cells based upon soma diameter were classified into 3 groups such as small (below 10㎛), medium (10-20㎛) and large (above 20㎛) ganglion cells. In 1-week-old duck, the relative frequencies of these 3 groups were 91.0%, 8.5% and 0.5%, respectively, and in 7-week-old duck, 83.7% 14.7% and 1.6%, respectively. 3. Area centralis was located at the distance of 1.6mm (1-week-old) and 2.0mm(7-week-old) nasal side from the anterior tip of the pecten. The number of ganglion cells in the area centralis was 11,000 cells/㎟ (1-week-old) and 12,000 cells/㎟ (7-week-old). 4. There was a gradual decrease in density of retinal ganglion cells extending from area centralis to the periphery of retina. 5. The density of the large (above 20㎛) ganglion cells was higher in the peripheral regions than in the center of retina. Higher densities were noted in the superior-temporal region in 7-week-old duck, and in the nasal region in 1-week-old duck than in the other regions. 6. The direction of the beak tip is approximately 30° in 1-week-old and 26° in 7-week-old duck from the angle of the pecten.
