        우리나라의 생물테러 대비 및 대응방안

        Following the Anthrax bioterrorism attacks in the US in 2001, the Korean government established comprehensive countermeasures against bioterrorism. These measures included the government assuming management of all infectious agents that cause diseases, including smallpox, anthrax, plaque, botulism, and the causative agents of viral hemorrhagic fevers (ebola fever, marburg fever, and lassa fever) for national security. In addition, the Korean government is reinforcing the ability to prepare and respond to bioterrorism. Some of the measures being implemented include revising the laws and guidelines that apply to the use of infectious agents, the construction and operation of dual surveillance systems for bioterrorism, stockpiling and managing products necessary to respond to an emergency (smallpox vaccine, antibiotics, etc.) and vigorously training emergency room staff and heath workers to ensure they can respond appropriately. In addition, the government's measures include improved public relations, building and maintaining international cooperation, and developing new vaccines and drugs for treatments of infectious agents used to create bioweapons.

        로컬 플랫폼으로서의 전통시장 활성화 방안 - 성남시 모란시장을 중심으로 -

        연구목적: 이 연구는 도심지역의 전통시장을 로컬 플랫폼으로서 활성화하는 전략을 세우고 이를 통해 기존 전통시장의 활용성을 높일 수 있는 방향성을 제시하는 것에 있다. 연구방법: 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 첫째, 환경 분석을 위한 문헌조사를 진행하였다. 둘째, 성남시 지역 전통시장 및 성남 모란시장의 이해관계자를 대상으로 심층면담 조사를 실시하였다. 셋째 성남 모란시장을 방문하여 현장조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과: 로컬 플랫폼 특징과 환경 분석 결과를 연계하여 상인 역량 강화 및 지원 전략, 전통시장 온라인 판매 및 마케팅 전략, 시설 개선 및 편의시설 구축 전략, 활성화 콘텐츠 생산 전략, 지역 네트워크와 연계 및 공유의 5대 활성화 전략을 수립하였다. 이를 통해 로컬 플랫폼으로서의 성남시 전통시장 활성화를 위한 세부 방안 12개를 도출하였다. 결론: 이 연구를 통해 도심형 전통시장의 활성화 방안 도출에 있어서 로컬 플랫폼 개념을 활용할 수 있을 것이다. Purpose: This study aims to make a strategy to revitalize traditional markets in urban areas as a local platform and to present a direction to increase the utilization of existing traditional markets. Method: First, a literature survey was conducted for environmental analysis to achieve the research purpose. Second, an in-depth interview was conducted on stakeholders of the Seongnam Traditional Market and Seongnam Moran Market. Third, A field survey was conducted by visiting Seongnam Moran Market. Results: Five activation strategies were made in connection with local platform characteristics and environmental analysis result, strategies to strengthen and support merchants' capabilities, online sales and marketing strategies in traditional markets, facility improvement and convenience establishment strategies, activation content production strategy and local networks sharing strategy. Through this, 12 detailed measures were derived to revitalize the traditional market in Seongnam-si as a local platform. Conclusion: Through this study, the concept of a local platform can be used in deriving ways to revitalize the urban traditional market.

        교감단의 (交感丹) 투여가 STRESS에 의한 면역반응의 억제에 미치는 영향

        N/A This study was done to know the effects of the water extracts of Gyogamdan(GGD) on the function of macrophages, the most important cells of the innate immune system, and the rosette forming ability of splenocytes in the mousr under stress. The effects of GGD on the immunosuppression induced by noise stress are as follows. 1. Administration of GGD water extracts normalized the bo요 weight which might be decreased by noise stress. 2. Administration of GGD water extracts increased the production of the such reactive oxygen intermediates as superoxide and hydrogen peroxide from macrophsges in vivo & in vitro which were decreaded by noise stress. 3. Administration of GGS water extracts did not affect the production of reactive nitrogen intermediates. 4. Administration of GGD water extracts increased the rosette forming ability of splenocytes which was decreased by noise stress. The above effects of GGD might be useful for the treatment of stress-induced infections diseases which could be caused by the suppression of immune responeses which are initiated by the functions of macrophages of the innate immune system.

        인천지함(仁川地喊)에서 동육(桐育)하는 개의 내부기생충(內部寄生蟲) 감염실태(感染實態) 조사(調査)

        Author investigated internal parasitism for the feces of dog`s training center, breeding-dog farm, dairy farm, home by 120 indoor breeding dog and 566 outdoor one in Inchon area. This survey was done from February in 1994 to December in 1995. 1. As a result of total 686 samples, positives were 373(54.4%). Among them, indoor and outdoor breeding dogs were 21(3.1%) 352(51.3%), respectively. 2. According to breeding, it was manifested that 2lsamples (17.5%) of 120 indoor breeding dogs were positive, and 352 samples(62.2%) of outdoor breeding were positive. 3. The infection rate of dogs for food in dairy farm, breeding dogs in the farm, dog of training center and dog of house is high in order. 4. Infection rate of parasites in 24 dogs breeds, Mongrel dogs were 81.3%, Shepherds were 80.0%, Tosas were 78.4%, Akida and Siberian huskys were 76.2%, Jindos were 55.5%, Pointers were 50.0%, although Afghan hound, Spanial, Shin-tzu, Maltis and Buldog were examined as aparasites negative. 5. After administration with vermicide parasites infection rate were 43.0% in two months. In four months, it were 66.7%, and dogs without vermicide were 87.0%. It seemed like that further research about dosage of vermicide is needed. 6. The rate of single-infection was 37.6% and that of mixed-infection was 16.8%. Among classi-fied 13 types, Ancylostoma caninum 35.6%, Toxocara canis 11.2%, Isospora sp 9.3%, Toxascaris leonine 5.1%, Trychuris vulpis 4.4% were investigated.

        동절기 도축돈 폐병변 발생 양상에 관한 역학조사

        This study was carried out to investigate and analyze the gross lesions of lungs in slaughtered pigs. Pigs were collected from the areas of Kyounggi, Chungbuk, Chungnam and Kangwon provinces from November to December 1999. One hundred-eleven pigs(17.4%) had lung lesions with various degrees among 639 pigs tested. By the standard scoring system, mean score of the lung lesion was 25.6+13.2. Regional prevalence of lung lesions were 23.5%(8/34) in Kangwon, 17.3%(61/352) in Kyunggi, 15.7%(32/204) in Chungnam and 20.4%(10/49) in Chungbuk. Mean number of pulmonary lesions per pig were 2.87. Most frequent region with pulmonary lesions was right cranial lobe(30.1%) and the decreasing prevalence rates were followed by 23.8% in right middle lobe, 21.05 in right accessory lobe, 15.0% in left cranial lobe, and 5.0% in left middle and accessory lobe(5.0%) and also there was the same prevalent tendency on pulmonary lesions in each lobes of 111 pigs with gross lesion. Isolation rate of bacteria from the affected lungs was 72.1 % and main pathogen was Pasteurella multocida. Gross and histological examination of pulmonary lesions in some pigs suggested that there were no marked changes regarded as the correlation with specific diseases except fibropurulent bronchopneumonia which was suspective of some respiratory bacteria including Pasteurella multocida and peribronchiolar lymphoid hyperplasia in varying degrees which was strongly associated with mycoplasmal infection. Consequently, the results in the study were suggested that there was consistently exposed against many causative factors including bacteria in the considerable number of pig herds rearing in the middle area in Korea.

        인천 지역 사육견의 심장사상충 감염률 및 병리조직학적 연구

        The prevalence of canine heartworm(Dirofilaria immitis) infection in 150 mixed-breed dogs (male: 54, female: 96) from February to December 1997 was investigated by using antigen test kit(ICT GOLD(TM) HW, Synbiotics, USA) based on immunochromatographic assay in Inchon city. Also, gross and histopathological findings of an antigen positive dog were carried out. The results were summarized as follows1. Four dogs were positive from 150 tested dogs(2.7%). They were all more than 2 years old and infection rates in male and outdoor dogs was higher than those in female and indoor, respectively. Species of infected dogs were Pug(2), German Sheperd(1) and Great-dane(1). 2. Regional infection rates were closely related with housing system in the city. 3. Pathological findings of antigen-positive dog was excessive enlargement, congestion and hemorrhage of lung and D immitis in heart and histologically hemosiderin, hypertrophy of pulmonary alveoli wall and irregular hypertrophy of pulmonary artery inner wall. Microfi-laria was observed in pulmonary artery and arteriole, ventricle and splenic artery.

        인천지역 양돈농가의 생산성 향상을 위한 질병 실태조사

        This experiment was executed to control effectively endemic disease of swine farms in Incheon metropolitan city. Mainly using PigMon program which had been developed by the College of Veterinary Medicine in the University of Minnesota(USA), we examined lesions of gastric ulcer and interstitial nephritis additionally. 446 heads of pigs shipped from 5 farms in Incheon to a slaughterhouse from June in 2003 to May in 2004 were examined. Infection rates by farms were obtained as follows; 1. Pneumonia was varied from 34.6% to 74.1% and pneumonic score was 1.47~7.06. As for atrophic rhinitis, four farms were 100% and one farm was 89.5% and rhinitis score was 1.3~3.2. 2. The infection rate of pericarditis and peritonitis was 1.0~3.9% and liver white spots, papular dermatitis were observed in pigs of 9.8~29.7%, 16.7~51.4% respectively. 3. The outbreak rates of interstitial nephritis, lesions of ileal thickening and gastric ulcer were 15.4~24.1%, 7.7~13.5%, and 62.7%~86.2% respectively.

        건유기 유방염 치료제 Nophazin의 야외응용시험

        A field test using Nophazin (drying off period therapeutics) was done from May, 1989 to October, 1989. 299 quarters of 75 cows from 28 herds were tested. The results were summarized as follows. 1. At the day 7 after parturition, CMT-was 81.60%, clots were removed perfectly, removal rate of hard, hot, pain was 99.6%, only one hard 0.35% was maintained. Recovery rate of general symptoms was 100%. 2. Recovery rate in Nophazin treatment was 100% in Micro-coccus SPP, Corynebacterium SPP, and unisolated, 97.06% in Enterobacterid SPP, 95.58% in Staphylococcus SPP, 91.67% in other Bacilli, 89.19% in Streptococcus SPP, Overall recovery rate was 95.32%, And fungi did not react. 3. The ratio of isolated microorganisms was Staphylococcus SPP 49.8%, Streptococcus SPP 16.3%, Enterobacteria SPP 15.0%, Micrococcus SPP 7.9% Corynebacterium SPP 4.4%, Pseudomonas SPP 2.6%, Bacilli 2.6% and Fungi 1.3%. 4. The range of sensitivity of each microorganism to therapeutics is as follow: Staphylococcus SPP 61.1~94.7%, Streptococcus SPP 51.4~91.9%, Micrococcus SPP 44.4~94.4%, Corynebacterium SPP 70~80%, Enterobacteria SPP 11.8~88.2%, and other Gram negative bacilli 8.3~83.3%. Overall sensitivity was in the range of 50.4~92.0%, Microorganisms showed the highest sensitivity (80~94.7%) to Nophazin. 5. New intramammary infection rate was 3.96% (9 strains) at paturition, 8.37% (19 strains) at the day 7 after paturition. Persistent organism was 6.17% (14 strains). 6. There was no side effect of Nophazin treatment.

        인천지역 도축장에서 생산된 돼지고기의 미생물 오염도 조사

        For measuring general bacterial count and Escherichia coli count, the standard plate count was used to conduct a test on 113 cases of pork carcass surfaces from slaughterhouses in Incheon area from January to February 2003. And Salmonella spp, Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes was used to conduct a test on 68 cases of pork carcass surfaces and 76 cases of feces, that is to say, a total of 144 cases. The results were obtained as follows: In the case of general bacterial count, 29 cases(25.7%) were in the range of 100~999 and 62 cases(54.9%) were in the range of 1,000~9,999 and 22 cases(19.4%) were in the range of 10,000~99,999. Meanwhile as regards E coli count, 22 cases(19.4%) were in the range of 1~9 and 69 cases(61.2%) were in the range of 10~99 and 22 cases(19.4%) were in the range of 100~999. On 68 cases of pork carcass surfaces, 7 strains(10.2%) of Salmonella spp, and 12 strains(17.6%) of S aureus were detected and 27 strains(39.7%) of L monocytogenes, respectively. As for the detected Salmonella spp, 6 strains of the B group, 3 strains of S enterica subsp salame and 2 strains of S typhimuriwn were detected, respectively. On 76 cases of feces, 14 strains(18.4%) of Salmonella spp, and 15 strains(19.7%) of L monocytogenes and 14 strains(18.4%) of S aureus were detected respectively. As for the detected Salmonella spp, 6 strains of the B group, 4 strains of S derby and 8 strains of the C group, 5 strains of S rissen were detected, respectively. All of 42 strains of L monocytogenes were type 1. As a result of conducting a toxin test on the detected S aureus, all of 26 strains were found to be non-toxin.
