This study aims to develop low NOx and CO technology in an industrial furnaceless boiler. The combustion chamber of a furnaceless boiler is very small, thus premixed flame with short flame length is required. In this study, the metal fiber burner system with premixing chamber is developed. The metal fiber burner showed different performances depending on the distribution of the fuel-air mixture. The distribution structure of the air-fuel mixture is optimized to achieve uniform fuel-air mixture. The catalyst is installed at the stack to reduce CO emission. The maximum load of the burner is 3.8MW and commercial LNG is used for fuel. The results showed that NOx concentration is 7.3ppm and CO concentration is 2ppm with catalyst at 7% flue gas O₂.
