        한국어 교육을 위한 텍스트 장르별 메타 담화 표지 연구

        본 연구는 일반 교양, 신문, 학술 논문, 전공서의 네 가지 장르로 구성된 말뭉치를 분석하여 텍스트의 장르에 따라 변별적으로 사용되는 메타 담화 표지의 목록을 선정하고 메타 담화 표지의 기능별 사용 양상을 살펴보았다. 메타 담화 표지 목록은 Hyland(2005a)의 유형 분류를 참고하여 선정하였으며, 전체 말뭉치에서 담화의 구조를 나타내는 기능을 담당하는 접속 표지 191종, 구조 표지 86종, 지시 표지 55종, 출처 표지 48종, 환언 표지 65종과 명제에 대한 필자의 태도를 나타내는 기능을 담당하는 완곡 표지 233종, 강조표지 102종, 태도 표지 119종,독자 참여 표지 16종, 필자 지시 표지 30종이 사용되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 아울러 장르에 따라 변별적으로 나타나는 메타 담화 표지의 기능별 사용 양상 살펴봄으로써 각 장르마다 고빈도로 쓰이는 표지의 종류와 형태에서 큰 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 메타 담화 표지는 학술 논문, 신문과 같이 텍스트의 장르적 특성이 뚜렷하고 텍스트의 구조가 전형성을 띠는 경우는 메타 담화 표지의 유형이 상대적으로 적고 사용 빈도 또한 적은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 달리 주로 지식 정보를 전달하는 일반 교양, 전공서의 경우 다양한 유형의 메타 담화 표지를 반복적으로 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 분석 결과는 한국어 학습자를 위한 쓰기 또는 읽기 교육에서 텍스트의 장르별 특성을 고려한 다양한 유형의 메타 담화 표지를 기능별로 세분화하여 제시할 필요가 있음을 시사해 주었다. This study analyzed a corpus comprised of four genres, including books of general interest, newspapers, academic articles, and books on various disciplines in order to make compile a list of genre-specific meta-discourse markers, and to investigate the use of meta-discourse by based on function. The results showed that if the genre-specific characteristics of text are distinct and the structure of the text is typical, such as in academic papers and newspapers, the type of meta-discourse marker is relatively small and the frequency of use is low. On the other hand, it was found the results show that in books of general interest and specific disciplines which that mainly primarily convey knowledge information, various meta-discourse markers were used. The use of meta-discourse markers, which are differentiated by genre, was once again confirmed by the analysis of the sub-category patterns of meta-discourse markers, through based on differences in the types and forms of markers used in each genre at high frequency. And Moreover, these differences were largely primarily explained through based on the genre-specific characteristics of text.

        한국어 교사용 지도서 개발의 쟁점과 실제 적용에 관한 연구 -제3국 출생 탈북 아동을 위한 한국어 교재 『돋움한국어』의 교사용 지도서를 중심으로-

        본고는 교사용 지도서 개발에 관한 연구로 제3국 출생 탈북 아동 대상 한국어 교재의 활용도를 높이고 교사의 전문성을 강화하기 위한 목적으로 시작되었다. 이를 위해 그간 이루어진 한국어 지도서 개발과 관련한 선행연구를 검토하고, 이 중 요구분석 연구의 성과를 집중 분석하여 그 결과를 실제 지도서 개발의 기초 자료로 삼을 수 있도록 하였다. 아울러 다문화 가정 아동, 재외동포 아동, KSL 초, 중, 고등학생 등 다양한 변인을 대상으로 한 지도서의 개발 사례를 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 지도서 개발과 관련한 쟁점을 지도서의 구성 체제와 내용으로 나누어 살펴보고, 교사용 지도서의 개발 방향을 모색하고 원리를 설정하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 제3국 출생 탈북 아동 대상 한국어 교재의 교사용 지도서 개발 원리를 첫째, 수업 준비와 운영의 흐름을 고려한 구성 체제, 둘째, 아동 학습자의 특성을 고려한 수업 활동 구성, 셋째, 효율적인 수업 준비를 돕기 위한 내용의 이원화, 넷째, 대조분석을 바탕으로 한 학습자 오류 클리닉 제공, 다섯째, 수업 운영의 편의성과 활용도 제고를 위한 수업 보조 자료 개발의 다섯 가지로 설정하였다. 나아가 실제 지도서에서의 적용 예시를 보였다. 이 연구는 교사의 요구분석 내용을 지도서에 반영하고 지도서 개발과 관련한 쟁점을 검토함으로써 교사, 학습자 변인을 고려한 지도서 체계와 내용을 마련한 교사용 지도서의 실제를 보여줬다는 데 의의가 있다. 이는 한국어 교재의 활용도를 높이고 교사의 전문성을 강화하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다. This study aims to develop a teacher’s guidebook to improve the utilization of Korean textbooks for children of North Korean defectors. This guidebook is also intended to strengthen the professionalism of teachers. Before developing an actual teacher’s guidebook, this paper reviewed previous relevant studies to collect results applicable to the development of a teacher’s guidebook. In addition, the various factors that a teacher’s guidebook must address were analyzed, including multicultural children; overseas Korean children; and elementary, middle school, and high school KSL students. Based on the results of the analysis, the development of a teacher’s guidebook was examined from the perspective of composition, and the contents and principles necessary for teachers’ guidebooks were established. The following are five principles for developing a teacher’s guidebook for children born in third countries to North Korean defectors based on this study: 1) a system of composition considering the flow of class preparation and management; 2) class activities that consider the characteristics and needs of child learners; 3) dualization of contents to help efficient class preparation; 4) providing learner error clinics based on contrast analysis; and 5) development of class materials for the enhancement of convenience and utilization in classroom operation. Furthermore, this paper shows examples of applications in the teacher’s guidebook. The significance of the study is that it shows the practical application of a teacher’s guidebook based on a system and contents that consider both teachers and learners’ variables. It is hoped that this study and the guidebook that it created will enhance Korean textbooks and strengthen the professionalism of teachers.

        보조용언 ‘보다’ 구성의 사용 양상 연구 - 언어 사용역에 따른 형태, 의미, 담화 기능을 중심으로 -

        This study examines the practical use of the construction of the auxiliary verb ‘보다’ based on corpus analysis. To this end, the corpus composed of academic prose, newspapers, fiction, and spoken was constructed, and the use of the construction of the auxiliary verb ‘보다’ in the four language registers was analyzed in terms of morphology, semantics, and discourse. The study results were as follows: First, morphologically, the construction of the auxiliary verb '보다' were combined with endings such as ‘-(으)ㄴ가’, ‘-는가’, ‘-나’, ‘-(으)ㄹ까’, ‘-고’, ‘-다(가)’ and ‘-아/어’. Second, semantically, the construction of the auxiliary verb '보다' means 'try', 'experience', 'assume', 'guess', ' awareness', 'worry', 'withhold judgment', 'intention', and 'reason', and the proportion of the meaning of 'try' was overwhelmingly high. Third, discourse functions such as 'euphemistic argument', 'warning/threat', 'sarcastic comment', 'scolding', 'self-reproach', and 'resolution' were realized in discourse levels. This meaning is not the original meaning of the auxiliary verb ‘보다’, but a newly added meaning by combining the grammatical meaning and the auxiliary verb composition with the context in which it is used.

        말뭉치 기반 연구의 재탐색 - Biber, Conrad & Reppen(1998)을 중심으로 -

        This article is a review for _Corpus Linguistics: Investigating Language Structure and Use_, written by Douglas Biber, Susan Conrad, Randi Reppen in 1998. This book consists of four parts, which address eight research questions about how exploring corpora can help us better understand language use. This book presents explicit discussions of the methodological issues and techniques used in corpus-based research, with a primary emphasis on the research of language use. In addition this book shows how empirical investigations of corpora can shed new light on previously intractable research questions in linguistics at that time. When it comes to methodological framework and the range of research topics, the corpus studies in Korean have made considerable progress for the last few decades. Nevertheless, this article reviewed Biber et al.(1998), published 20years ago. This is an attempt to contemplate the interest, methodology, and significance of early corpus-based research through Biber et al.(1998), considered a classic of corpus linguistics.

        ‘-(으)ㄹ래(요)’의 의사소통 기능과 그 확장 유형 연구

        The aim of this study is to examine the communicative functions of‘-(으)ㄹ래(요)’and uncover the basic principles to expand from the basic meaning into a variety of communicative functions by the morphological change and context through the analysis of the corpus. As a result, the communicative functions of ‘-(으)ㄹ래(요)’ were categorized into 13 communicative functions. They are categorized into 3 types: Type 1 requires a verbal response to the listenerlbasic meaning), Type 2 demands a response to the listener through actstextended means), and Type 3 does not require a mandatory response to the listenertsituation means). The communicative function, 'ask interlocuter's intention', has been included in the basic meaning, 'command'. The communicative functions, 'ask', 'demand', 'suggestion' have been included in the extended meaning. The communicative functions, 'accept', 'blame', 'rebuke', 'warning', 'intimidation', 'worry' have been included in the situative meaning. It was confirmed that ‘-(으)ㄹ래(요)’ obtains such communicative functions through a combination of a certain expressions and vocabulary. It was found that‘-(으)ㄹ래(요)’is an expression that is used mainly between colleagues, seniors, juniors and friends in the informal situation. The results of this study are discussed partly on the characteristics of individual sentence patterns, which can be utilized to build the content for the teaching and to develop the teaching methods effectively through the further discussion.

        한국어 학습자 오류 사전 개발 모형 연구 -사례 분석과 사전의 미시구조 설계를 중심으로-

        This study is based on the premise that the microstructure of the Korean learner’s common errors dictionary. For this purpose, theoretically, it was reviewed the importance of learner’s errors and were analyzed the dictionaries of learner’s common errors published in both domestic and abroad. The results showed that there is a fundamental difference in the contents of the dictionary and the description method according to the user of the dictionary and the purpose of use. In this study, Korean language teachers and researchers were included as main users, and upper-intermediate and advanced learners as second users. This work proposes a microstructured design model of the learner's dictionary, which consists of language knowledge, error information about the items and reference information for teaching and learning. In conclusion, although the research so far has been the result of error studies by Korean learners which have accumulated only theoretical results, this study extends to practical discussions for the development of common error dictionaries for Korean learners.         논문 : 다차원 분석에 의한 한국어 논문 텍스트의 장르적 특성 연구 -전공 분야별 비교를 통하여-

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the generic features of Korean research articles based on multidimensional analysis and qualitative interpretation. It is meaningful that the result of this study is examine the effectiveness of multidimensional analysis as a methodology for text analysis to apply to teaching Korean as a second language. The first step of this study is to collect each 10 samples of texts from the research articles of the discipline of teaching Korean as a second language, Korean linguistics, business administration and electronic engineering. Secondly, all frequencies of the linguistic features in Kang(1998)`s dimension 1 and dimension 4 were identified in the 40 samples of texts. Thirdly, counts of each of the features in each text were analyzed by the statistic procedures to make comparison between Korean research articles and different kind of generic texts, and among 4 different disciplinary texts. Finally, samples of texts were reviewed to determine how the linguistic features functioned in the texts. The methodology of this study was followed Conrad(1996) and Kang(1998). The finding of this study shows that the linguistic differences exist between Korean research articles and different kind of generic texts, and among different disciplinary texts. From that result, this study concludes that multidimensional analysis as a methodology to examine the generic features of texts and develop contents for teaching and learning Korean as a second language is very effective and useful.
