This study investigates the effect of the diameter and thickness on crack initiation location and orientation of 90⁰ elbows under in-plane mode displacement-controlled cyclic bending loads. Finite element (FE) analysis of cyclic failure test is conducted for elbow specimens under in-plane mode displacement-controlled cyclic bending to identify the parameters affecting crack location and orientation. Furthermore, parametric FE analysis of the pipe elbows with various pipe nominal sizes and Schedules is performed, and the crack location and orientation from the results of FE analysis are determined. It is found that the crack location and orientation in the pipe elbows are determined mianly by the radius to thickness ratio of pipe elbows (Rm/t). It is also found that the presence of internal pressure slightly increases the value of Rm/t at which the failure mode changes.

Purpose: This research was conducted to investigate the characteristics of emotional exhaustion that Korean school nurses suffer, to suggest policy implications to address this issue, and to propose preventive and supervisory measures regarding emotional exhaustion experienced by school nurses in elementary, middle, and high schools in Korea. Methods: A survey was conducted under the authorization of Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education. Out of 400 copies first distributed, 376 copies were returned. Among the 376 copies, 117 copies which were judged insincere or from teachers with less than 1 year of experience were exclded from the study. Through this process, only 259 copies were finally selected. Results: As a result of assessing the fit of the model, it was found that x2=67.247 (df=28,p<.001), GFI=.953, AGFI=.911, TLI=0.936, CFI=0.965 and RMSEA=.074. Emotional exhaustion was found to have a direct effect on job demand (β=.26) and an indirect effect on stress response (β=.31). The total effect was β=.57. There was a positive complete indirect effect of β=.52 between emotional intelligence and emotional exhaustion. The total effect was not significant, respectively. Conclusion: Since job demands of school nurses affect emotional exhaustion, it is necessary to reconstruct their jobs and operations to alleviate their job demands.

This study attempted to identify female nursing students' views on marriage, willingness to give birth, and motivation for childbirth before and after maternal nursing classes and use it as basic data to increase the birth rate. This is a single-group, before-and-after design study targeting 80 students taking the ‘Maternal Nursing’ course in their third year of the Department of Nursing at G University, located in G Metropolitan City, who agreed to participate in the study. Data were collected from February 27 to June 9, 2023, by conducting a survey on single female students taking maternal nursing classes at the first and last hours of the lecture. Female nursing students' willingness to give birth was 2.95±0.50 points out of 5 before the maternal nursing lecture and improved to 3.16±0.44 points after the lecture, which was statistically significant (t=-5.34, p<.001). Since the willingness to give birth score improved after the maternal nursing class, confirming that women-related knowledge positively changes the will to give birth, it is expected that the contents of this study will be used for future education and program development regarding marriage and childbirth.

The purpose of this study was to estimate home care nursing cost for the patient with Cerebrovascular Disease based on a bundle of home care nursing services This study was conducted through four steps. The first step was to investigate home care nursing activities that were offered to the patient with Cerebrovascular Disease(CD) by home care nurse. The second step was to investigate the time spent on home care nursing service and to calculate labor and manufacturing cost. The third step was to calculate home care nursing cost per minute. And at the fourth step, home care nursing cost for a patient with Cerebrovascular Disease based on a bundle of home care nursing service was calculated. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The number of direct home care nursing activities for the patient with CD was 108, and the time of each activity was spent from 1 to 10 minutes. 2) Average time per visit was 51 minute, and the firs visit time were spent 1.6 times higher than 2nd visit time. 3) Nursing cost per minute(cost per visit ${\\}\;22,565\;\div\;$ average time per visit 51 minutes) was ${\\}\;442$. The cost per visit was calculated on Basic visiting cost(nurse's labor cost ${\\}\;15,760$ + management cost ${\\}\;6,805$) divided by average time per visit(51 minutes). 4) Home care nursing cost to the patient with CD based on bundle of home care nursing service was consisted of basic home care nursing cost, the cost of a bundle of service practiced on visit. and transportation fee. Basic home nursing cost(the time spent on basic home nursing service 20 minutes ${\times}$ nursing cost per minute ${\\}\;442$) was ${\\}\;8,840$. The cost of the bundle of home care nursing services to the patient with CD was calculated as self care ${\\}\;2.898$, Tracheostomy care ${\\}\;10,166$, immobility care ${\\}\;6,188$, sore care ${\\}\;6,188$. Foley care ${\\}\;6,630$, and Levin tube or Gastrostomy care ${\\}\;7.514$. Transportation fee which was composed of the labor cost for transportation(${\\}\;5,122$) and the car management cost(${\\}\;3.876$) was ${\\}\;8,998$. Home care nursing cost to the patient with CD based on bundle of home care nursing services consisted of basic home care nursing cost, the cost of a bundle of service practiced on visit, and transportation fee. It will contribute to improve quality of home care service, because of giving appreciate incentives to home care nurses. And it will be more efficient than current cost of hospital based home care. But it need to management than calculation of the current fee-for-services of home care.

COVID-19 시대 우울 경험 청소년의 우울 악화와 자살 생각의 영향요인 분석: 2021년 청소년 건강행태 조사

This cross-sectional and secondary data analysis study analyzes the factors affecting depression and suicidal ideation of adolescents who experienced depression during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The research data was obtained from the 17th Korean Adolescent Behavior Survey conducted in 2021 during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis included adolescents who experienced depression for ≥2 weeks in 12 months. During the COVID-19 pandemic, middle school students, females, low-income families, students not living with their families, and people with poor health perception were identified as vulnerable to mental health. Additionally, factors associated with the aggravation of depression and suicidal ideation were confirmed to be decreased physical activity time, increased sitting time, and increased smartphone use time. These results indicate that reducing the time spent sitting and using smartphones, and supporting active physical activity in a safe environment, is necessary to prevent depression and suicidal thoughts among adolescents. 본 연구는 코로나19 대유행이라는 특수한 상황에서 우울을 경험한 청소년들의 우울과 자살생각에 영향을 주는요인들을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하는 단면연구 및 2차 자료분석 연구이다. 연구데이터는 코로나19 상황이 진행 중인2021년에 실시한 제 17차 한국청소년행태조사를 기반으로 하였고, 12개월 동안 2주 이상 우울을 경험한 청소년을 연구대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 코로나19와 같은 전염병 시대에 중학생, 여성, 저소득 가정, 가족과 함께 살지 않는 학생, 건강이 좋지 않다고 생각하는 사람들이 정신건강에 취약한 것으로 확인하였다. 또한 신체활동 시간의 감소, 앉아 있는시간의 증가, 스마트폰 사용시간의 증가는 우울심화 및 자살생각과 관련이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 청소년들의우울과 자살생각을 예방하기 위해 앉아있는 시간을 줄이고, 스마트폰 사용시간을 감소시키며 안전한 환경에서 적극적으로 신체활동을 할 수 있도록 지원해야 한다.
