        비만 여성 노인의 운동형태가 근육지수와 동화작용호르몬에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of exercise type on appendicular skeletal muscle mass index and anabolic hormones in obese elderly women. The subjects were 31 obese elderly women aged 65 years or older (14 aerobic exercise group, 17 resistance exercise group). The aerobic exercise was performed by using treadmill and stationary bicycle at 40 ~ 70% VO2R. Resistance exercise was performed by using 11 weight machines at 40 ~ 70% 1RM. Both exercise groups were performed three times per week for a total of 12 weeks. After exercise program, body composition and anabolic hormone (IGF-1 and insulin) tests were performed. Independent sample t-test was performed using pre-posttreatment changes to determine the difference in effect between the two exercise methods. Body weight, body mass index and percent body fat did not show any difference between groups. Upper limb muscle mass(p=.008), lower limb muscle mass(p<.001), appendicular skeletal muscle mass (p<.001) and appendicular skeletal muscle mass index (p=.002) were higher in the resistance exercise group and IGF- 1 and insulin did not differ between the two groups. Obesity-related variables did not differ between the two types of exercise. Muscle-related variables were found to be higher in resistance exercise, so resistance exercise for long-term weight control in obese female elderly can be recommended.

        스마트홈 기반의 운동프로그램이 노인의 낙상관련 변인에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of smart home-based exercise program on fallrelated risk factors in elderly women. The subjects were 23 elderly women (11 experimental group, 12 control group) aged 75.8 (±5.42) who were using the elderly welfare center in K-gu of Seoul. The smart home-based exercise program was composed of health monitoring and exercise program for the prevention of falls in the living space. The exercise program consisted of aerobic exercise and resistance exercise. It is performed for 40 ~ 50 minutes during 12 weeks by 3 times for a week. Body composition, fall, and plantar pressure variables were measured before and after the Smart Home Exercise Program. Two-way repeated measures (ANOVA) was performed using pre-post treatment changes to determine the difference in effect between the two groups. Body weight (p=.005), muscle mass (p=.027), and lower body lean (p=.032) increased in the exercise group after the 12-week smart home-based exercise program. Body fat percentage decreased significantly in the exercise group (p=.002). Daily efficacy(p=.003), activity efficacy (p=.033) and stability (p=.023) were increased significantly in the exercise group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in both the static and dynamic states in the plantar pressure. This study showed that smart home-based exercise program is effective for improving fall-related risk factors in elderly women. Further research is needed through integrated exercise programs that incorporate information and communication technology.

        헬스케어 스마트홈 운동프로그램이 비만 여성 노인의 대사증후군 위험요인에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 유헬스 기반의 스마트홈 기술에 운동서비스의 개념을 더한 헬스케어 스마트홈 운동프로그램이 비만 여성 노인의 대사증후군 위험요인에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상자는 서울시 K구의 영구임대주택단지에 거주하는 체지방률 30%이상의 비만 여성 노인 중 헬스케어 스마트홈 서비스에 참여를 희망하는 자로 운동군 21명(77.19±6.94세), 통제군 13명(74.08±6.73세)으로 분류하였다. 헬스케어 스마트홈 운동프로그램은 유산소운동과 저항운동의 복합운동 형태로 12주 동안 하루 30~50분, 주당 3회로 실시하였고, 운동전후 대사증후군 위험요인을 측정하였다. 검사결과에 대한 운동효과 분석을 위해 각 변인별로 이원 반복측정 분산분석(repeated measures two-way ANOVA)을 실시하였으며 통계학적 유의수준은 α=.05로 하였다. 12주간의 헬스케어 스마트홈 운동프로그램 실시 후, 대사증후군 위험요인 중 허리둘레(p=.034)에서 사전사후 시기 및 집단 간 상호작용 효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 결론적으로 12주간의 헬스케어 스마트홈 운동프로그램은 비만 여성 노인의 대사증후군 지표인 복부비만의 개선에 효과적이었음을 확인 할 수 있었다. This study set out to investigate effects of healthcare smart-home exercise program, which adds the concept of exercise service to the healthcare-based smart home technology, on the metabolic syndrome risk factors of obese elderly women. The subjects include obese elderly women that were living in a permanent rental housing complex in K-gu, Seoul, had 30% body fat or more, and wished to participate in the healthcare smart home service. The subjects were divided into the exercise group of 21 persons(age: 77.19±6.94) and the control group of 13 persons(age: 74.08±6.73). The healthcare smart home exercise program was the combined exercise of aerobic exercise and resistance exercise and administered for 30~50 minutes per day three times a week for 12 weeks, and the metabolic syndrome risk factors of the subjects before and after exercise were measured. The author performed repeated measures two-way ANOVA for each variable at the statistical significance level of α=.05 to analyze the effects of exercise according to the test results. After 12 weeks of the healthcare smart home exercise program, there were significant interactions in waist circumference(p=.034), one of the metabolic syndrome risk factors, before and after the program and between the groups. In conclusion, the 12-week healthcare smart home exercise program was effective for improving abdominal obesity, one of the metabolic syndrome indexes, among obese elderly women.
