스터링 냉동기의 선헝압축기 운전특성에 관한 수치해석적 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze the charging gas effect on the resonance and performance characteristics of the linear compressor for small scale FPFD Stirling refrigerator. To ensure high performance of FPFD type Stirling refrigerator, the operating frequency of the refrigerator should be around the natural frequency of compressor. The gas spring effect which is induced from Pressure change in cylinder due to motion of pistons has significant effect on the natural frequency of the compressor. The numerical results show the linear compressor has high natural frequency when the charging pressure of working fluid is high and the stroke of compressor, current, input power and efficiency of compressor were shown with different operating conditions.

쥴톰순 냉동기는 스터링 냉동기, GM 냉동기, 스터링형 및 GM형 맥동관 냉동기 등 기계적 극저온냉동기에 비해 단순한 구조, 수 초의 급속한 냉각특성을 장점으로 중대형의 가스액화사이클 뿐만 아니라 적외선검출기의 급속냉각, 저온수술 등 다양한 분야에서 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 일반적으로 100K 이하의 작동온도 및 수 초 수준의 빠른 냉각을 요구하는 적외선검출기의 냉각을 위해서는 수 백기압 이상 고압의 질소 및 아르곤 가스를 사용하는 쥴톰슨 냉동기가 주로 사용되고 있다. 쥴톰슨 냉동기는 핀-관(fin-tube) 형태의 열교환기와 열교환기의 구조적 기반을 제공하는 멘드렐(mandrel), 쥴톰슨 노즐 등으로 구성되며, 열교환기의 열전달 성능 및 유량조절기구의 특성은 냉동기 저온부의 냉각온도, 냉각시간 및 운전시간에 큰 영향을 미친다.
A Numerical Study on Operating Characteristics of a Miniature Joule-Thomson Refrigerator

Miniature Joule-Thomson refrigerators have been widely used for rapid cooling of infrared detectors, optoelectronic device, and integrated circuits of micro electronics. The typical J-T refrigerator consists of the recuperative heat exchanger with the double helical tube and fin configuration, J-T nozzle, a mandrel, Dewar and a compressed gas storage bottle. In this study, to predict the thermodynamic behaviors of the refrigerator with a compressed gas storage bottle during the cool-down time, numerical study of transient characteristics for a J-T refrigerator was developed. A simplified transient one–dimensional model of the momentum and energy equations was simultaneously solved to consider the thermal interactions of the each component of the refrigerator. To account for effects of the thermal mass of the solid, the heat capacities of the tube, fins, mandrel and Dewar are considered. The results show the charged gas pressure of the gas storage bottle has significant effects on the performance of the J-T refrigerator. At the elevated gas pressure of the gas storage bottle, the large capacity of the compressed gas storage does not need to get the fast cool-down performance of the J-T refrigerator in the cool-down stage.
스터링헝 오리피스 맥동관 냉동기의 성능특성에 관한 연구

In this study, the performance of the Stirling type orifice Pulse tube refrigerator (OPTR) with a linear compressor was investigated by experiment. The dynamic pressures at three points and a temperature at the cold heat exchanger are measured to explore the dependency of the orifice on the performance of the OPTR. The experimental results show that the opening of the orifice has significant effects on the no load temperature and cool down characteristics. The Pressure amplitude in Pulse tube decrease as the opening of the orifice increase, but the mass flow rate through the orifice and the electric input Power to the compressor increase. The results show that the operating frequency and charging Pressure does not affect on the no load temperature. The pressure amplitude in pulse tube decrease as the operating frequency increase or the charging Pressure decreased.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the linear compressor for Stirling refrigerator. To ensure high performance and long life of the FPFD(Free Piston. Free Displacer) type Stirling refrigerator, the operating parameters of the linear compressor should be optimized. The experimental results show that the operating frequency of the linear compressor has significant effect on the input power characteristics. and that the compressor with higher charging pressure of working fluid has high pressure ratio. For the high performance of the linear compressor. compressor should be operated at the resonance frequency with respect to the given charging pressure.

Kerosene Burner has widely used in domestic heating appliance. Higher combustion efficiency is required to save fuel and clean exhaust gas. The combustion characteristics in kerosene burner highly depends on the performance of evaporating liquid kerosene. And performance of evaporating effect on generation of tar. In this study, flow and heat transfer of kerosene burner is simulated by FLUENT/UNS using unstructured mesh system and discrete phase model to analyze performance of evaporating kerosene liquid. The simulated results show very complicated flow pattern and back flow at the exit of burner.

가스액화플랜트는 질소, 산소, 헬륨 등 고순도의 가스를 효율적으로 저장 및 운송을 위해 가스를 액체로 변환하는 플랜트로, 대표적인 플랜트로는 질소, 산소, 아르곤 등의 가스를 생산하는 공기분리플랜트, 헬륨액화플랜트, 수소액화플랜트, 천연가스액화플랜트 등이 있다. 질소, 산소, 수소 등의 가스는 산업의 전반적인 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있으며, 국내의 경우 철강, 반도체, 디스플레이제조산업 등 가스 다소비 분야의 비약적인 발전에 따라 급격하게 수요가 증가하고 있는 상황이다. 대용량의 가스액화플랜트는 원료로부터 불순물을 제거하고, 팽창 또는 열교환 과정을 통해 가스를 액체로 변환하는 극저온기술로 주로 구성되며, 이와 같은 과정은 압축기, 열교환기, 증류탑, 팽창터빈, 콜드박스 등의 구성요소에 의해 구현된다. 따라서 가스액화플랜트에서 효율적인 극저온의 생성 및 유지는 플랜트의 경제성 제고를 위해 핵심적인 요소이다.

An integral crank driven Stirling cryocooler is solidly based on concepts of direct IR detector mounting on the cryocooler’s coldfinger, and the integral construction of the cryocooler and Dewar envelope. Performance factors of the cryocooler depend onoperating conditions of the cryocooler such as a cyclic mean pressure of the working fluid, a rotational speed of driving mechanism,a thermal environment, a targeted operation temperature and etc.. At given charging condition of helium gas, the cyclic meanpressure of helium gas in the cryocooler changes with temperatures of the cold end and the environment. In this study, effects of thecyclic mean pressure of helium gas on performances of the Stirling cryocooler were investigated by numerical analyses using theSage software. The simulation model takes into account thermodynamic losses due to an inefficiency of regenerator, a pressuredrop, a shuttle heat transfer and solid conductions. Simulations are performed for the performance variation according to the cyclicmean pressure induced by the temperature of the cold end and the environment. This paper presents P-V works in the compressionand expansion space, cooling capacity, contribution of losses in the expansion space.
