System-on-Panel 응용을 위한 고속 Pipelined ADC 설계

본 논문에서는 일반적인 Folding 구조를 이용한 R-String Folding Block과 Second Folding Block을 제안하여 최대 500Msample/s로 동작하는 ADC를 설계하였다. 제안된 Folding ADC의 R-String Folding Block에서는 상위 4bit를 병렬로 처리하여 디지털 출력을 얻어내며, Second Folding Block에서는 하위 4bit를 새로운 pipeline 방식을 통해 디지털 출력을 얻어낸다. HSPICE 시뮬레이션 과정을 통해 ADC 동작을 확인하였으며 최대 샘플링 주파수인 500Msample/s로 동작할 경우의 평균 전력소모는 1.34㎽로 매우 작음을 확인하였다. 램프입력을 인가하면서 디지털 출력이 변할 때의 입력전압을 측정하여 DNL과 INL을 구한 결과 DNL은 -0.56LSB~0.49LSB, INL은 -0.94LSB~0.72LSB의 특성을 나타내었다. 사용된 MOSFET 파라미터는 MOSIS에서 제공하는 0.35㎛ 공정 파라미터이다. We designed an ADC that operated upto 500 Msamples/sec based on proposed R-string folding block as well as second folding block. The upper four bits are processed in parallel by the R-string folding block while the lower four bits are processed in pipeline structured second folding block to supply digital output. To verify the circuit performance, we conducted HSPICE simulation and the average power consumption was only 1.34 ㎽ even when the circuit was running at its maximum sampling frequency. We further measured noise immunity by applying linear ramp signal to the input. The DNL was between -0.56*LSB and 0.49*LSB and the INL was between -0.93*LSB and 0.72*LSB. We used 0.35 microns MOSIS device parameters for this work.

강원도 설악산의 식물상(1)

설악산에 자생하는 관속식물상을 1984년부터 2010년까지 조사한 결과, 총 109과 463속 814종 1아종 122변종 57품종 총 994분류군이 분포하는 것으로 확인되었다. 조사된 994분류군 중 한국특산식물은 53분류군, 희귀 및 멸종위기식물은 60분류군, 식물구계학적 특정종은 Ⅴ등급 42분류군, Ⅳ등급 27분류군, Ⅲ등급 58분류군, Ⅱ등급 57분류군, Ⅰ등급 64분류군 등 총 248분류군이 분포하였다. 그리고 귀화식물은 60분류군이 확인되었는데 국화과가 전체의 31.7%로 가장 높게 분포하였으며, 귀화율은 6.0%로 나타났다. 또한 생활형조성은 반지중식물(27.6%), 지중식물(25.0%), 지상식물(21.8%) 등이 높게 나타났다. The vascular flora of Mt. Seorak had been researched from 1984 to 2010, and this research revealed 994 taxa in total, including 814 species, 1 subspecies, 122 varieties and 57 forms in 463 genera, 109 families. Among them were 53 taxa of Korean endemic species, 60 taxa of rare and endangered species, and 248 taxa of specially designated species in view of floristics by the Ministry of Environment, which includes 42 taxa of grade V, 27 taxa of grade IV, 58 taxa of grade III, 57 taxa of grade II, and 64 taxa of grade I. With regard to the naturalized plants, 60 taxa were recognized, and Compositae taxa was distributed in highest ratio, accounting for 31.7%, and naturalization ratio was found to be 6.0%. Furthermore, hemicryptophytes (27.6%), geophytes (25.0%) and phanerophytes (21.8%) showed high proportional ratio in life form spectrum.

칠철봉 신갈나무(Quercus mongolica)림의 군락구조와 토양환경

칠절봉 신갈나무림의 군락구조와 토양환경과의 관계를 파악하기 위해 식물사회학적 조사와도양환경을 분석하였다. 조사지역의 신갈나무림은 신갈나무군락, 철쭉꽃하위군, 큰개별꽃하위군으로 구분되었으며, 철쭉꽃하위군과 큰개별꽃하위군에서의 방형구당 평균출현종수는 각각 30종(24~46종), 43종(31~52)종 이었다. 피복지수치에 의한 계층별 우점순위는 교목층에서 신갈나무(6750.0), 아교목충에서 당단풍(2364.0), 관목픙에서 철쭉꽃(988.5), 초본층에서 쌀새(1040.5)가 가장 높게 나타났다. 신갈나무림의 DBH 분포는 2~10cm 범위의 소경목이 전체의 29.7%를 차지하였으며 전체적으로 정규분 포를 나타내어 교한 후 재생과정에 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 후계목의 발달로 인한 극상상태로의 천이가 가능할 것으로 조사되었다. 전반적인 토양환경은 두 하위군 간에 뚜렷한 차이가 없었으며, 큰개별꽃하위군이 철쭉꽃하위군에 비하여 다소 양호한 것으로 조사되었다. 환경구배분석에서 까치박달, 물푸레나무, 함박꽃나무 등은 습한 곳에 분포하고 철쭉꽃, 전나무, 국수나무 등은 건조한 곳에 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. A relationship between the community structure composition and soil environmental factors of the Quercus mongolica forest on Mt. Chiljelbong was investigated from June 1996 to August 1997. The Q. mongolica community was classified into two subcommunity of Rhododendron schlippenbachii and Pseudostellaria palibiniana. The 30(24-46) species per quadrat were appeared in R. schlippenbachii subcommunity and 43(31-52) species in P palibiniana subcommunity. The dominant sequences on each stratum determined by the coverage index showed that Q. mongoliica was the most dominant in tree-1layer with 6750.0, Acer pseudo-sieboldianum in tree-2 layer with 2364.0, R. schlippenbachii in shrub layer with 988.5, and Melica onoei in herb layer with 1040.5 value. The value of diameter breast height(DBH) showed a normal distribution displaying a highest value in the range of 2~ 10cm(29.7%) in Q. mongolica forest and it was investigated being at restoration phase after disturbance. It also was investigated that the succession to climax state would be possible due to growth of successive tree. Overall, which the soil conditions make little difference between two subcommunities, P. palibiniana subcommunity was favorable than those of R, schlippenbachii subcommunity. It was shown that in an environmental gradient analysis, Carpinus cordata, Fraxinus rhynchophylla, and Magnolia sieboldii were distributed in a mesic area, but R. schlippenbachii, Abies holophylla, and Stepanandra incisa in a xeric area.

백운산의 삼림식생과 토양환경

The relationship between floristic composition and soil environmental conditions was investigated in the forest vegetation of Mt. Paekun. The forest vegetation unit of Mt. Paekun was divided into six plant communities by Zu¨rich-Montpellier method, such as Quercus mongolica community(Typical subcommunity, Rhododendron schlippenbachii subcommunity), Q. variabilis community, Fraxinus rhynchophylla community, Pinus densiflora community, Larix leptolepis community and Pinus koraiensis community. Q. mongolica community group was distributed at the altitude over 500 meter, Q. variabilis and P. densiflora communities appeared on the southwestern slope at the altitudes of 600∼700m and 290∼700m. However, L. leptolepis and P. koraiensis plantation were distributed at lower altitude, on hillside or around homestead. The DBH class distribution of dominant species in each community showed that Q. mongolica had 10.9 individuals/a at 6∼10㎝ class, Q. variabilis 2.5 individuals/a at 11∼15㎝ class, P. densiflora 1.8 individuals/a at 26∼30㎝ class, F. rhynchophylla 3.3 individuals/a at 2∼5㎝ class, and L. leptolepis 5.9 individuals/a at 11∼15㎝ class. Q. mongolica and Q. variabilis communities showed a stable bell-shaped pattern of distribution. The contents of organic matters and soil water, and cation exchange capacity of the soil increased, and the pH decreased as the altitude gets higher increased altitude at the each communities. The contents of the soil water and organic matters of the forest soil collected in Q. mongolica community were in the 17.81% to 51.20% and 5.51% to 14.90%, respectively. These tendency is similar to the contents of N, P and K, but those of Ca, Mg, and CEC was lower than in other communities. Cation exchange capacity was suspected to be correlated to the pH. The hypothetical successional sere of the forest vegetation of Mt. Paekun is as follows: Pinus densiflora community → Q. variabilis community → Q. mongolica community.

Scott Fitzgerald pointed out an American Dream and he tried to be the romantic readiness by the most naive person. For the symbolic presentation in "The Great Gatsby" Fitzgerald gave a great deal of suggestion from "The Waste Land". Actually the setting and background Fitzgerald employs in "The Great Gatsby" reveals a suffering crucifix for the contemporary nothingness Nick returns West, declaring himself, Gatsby, Jorden, Tom and Daisy, all born Westerners, as "subtly unadaptable to Eastern life," and recalling the East in a place of death, directlessness, materialism, indifference, and coldness. In conclusion it is not only an reassurance of tragic problems among the human beings but their generalization.

A great many critics have lauded King Lear. Shelly stated "the most perfect specimen Of dramatic poetry in the World", A recent critic, E. I. Fripp commented that it is' the noblest spiritual utterance since La Davina Commedia. William Empson declared "whatever one says about this huge play feels very inadequate, As a whole they have appreciated it through their eyes in the various point of view. It is chiefly because the feelings which flow throughout 'the Tragedy of King Lear' are dealt with complicatedly and enormously. Accordingly one must recognize precisely the view of life, politics and history dominated over in the Middle Ages. This study puts emphasize on this point. The tragedy of Shakespeare has originated its pattern from Seneca, thg Roman tragedian. The thought of retirement from earthly life and purgatory gives more significant meaning to the death of main characters in the play. Ultimately it could be concluded that evil is punished and virtue rewarded.

"The Grapes of Wrath"에 나타난 Steinbeck의 저항의식

Steinbeck은 The Grapes of Wrath에서 뿐만 아니라 The Long Valley나 The White Quail 이나 In Dubious Battle에서도 사회적 문제점에 깊은 관심을 보였다. 그는 작품을 통해서 정치적 배경을 찾으려고 하지 않고 사회적 병폐를 찾고자 했기에 그의 자연주의적 소설은 사회적 불의를 폭로함을 겨냥하고 있다. 그는 인도주의나 인생에 근거를 두고 인간의 품위 상실과 인간성 하락에 분노를 가져 왔었다. 고로 다음의 것은 그가 본 구체적으로 정의를 내린 인간상이라 해도 과언이 아닐 것이다. 그는 말하기를 자라고 일하고 창조하고자 못견뎌 하는 육체와 정신, 이것이 백만배로 커진게 원인인 것이다. 인간의 기능 가운데 가장 뚜렷한 기능, 일하고자 못견디는 근육 그 단 한가지 욕망을 초월하여 창조하려고 견디지 못하는 정실 이것이 인간이다‥‥‥‥. 인간은 뭇 유기체나 무기체와 달라 자기 노동을 넘어서서 성취의 계단을 걸어 올라가 자기 업적을 앞서는 자리에 나타나는 것이기 때문이다라고 했다. 실은 이렇게 하여 강력하고 적극적 이상주의가 그의 작품에 나타나기 시작한 것이다. 그는 무엇보다도 인간의 완결성을 신봉한 작가로서 주장하기를, 인간의 완성 가능성을 강력히 믿지 않는 작가는 문학에 공헌도 없으며 작가로서의 자격도 없다고 했다. 따라서 독자들은 언제나 신경을 쓰고 있어야 한다. 아무리 완곡해도 그의 은유를 즉시 파악할 마음의 여유를 갖고, 아무리 거칠어도 그의 문학적 사상을 즉시 깨달을 수 있을 태세를 갖춰야 한다. 이런 점으로 미루어 보아 독자들이 그의 철학을 그의 언행의 뜻으로 받아 들이지 못한다면 그의 작품이 과장되게 또는 참담하게 느껴질지도 모르며 참다운 뜻을 찾기 어려울 것이다. 그의 작품을 이해하는 최선책은 중산급에 대한 적개심과 신달함, 멸시 그리고 종교에 대한 적대 행위를 표시한 인간생활을 설명해 주는 것이다. 앞을 내다보지 못하는 보수주의자는 성장하고 있는 미국인의 꿈과 서민들의 각성을 두려워 했다. 모든 지방에서 멀리 쫓겨나고 날로 두려움이 더해가는 것으로 인간을 파멸시키기 위하여 인간의 손으로 만든 제도라는 것이 있었다. 그들이 더 가깝게 뭉치고 즉 집단구조체 인 가족 유대와 이민들과의 동료의식을 형성하고 있었다. 가정 애착심이 있기에 그들 부모들의 권위있는 태도는 애정표시가 충분히 되고 소용돌이치는 상황에서도 순종하게 된다. 여기에는 그 나름대로의 이상향을 확대시키고 질서 있는 민주사회를 구현하고자 하는 Steinbeck의 성실하고도 강력한 의지가 있다. Steinbeck showed deep concern at the social problems not only in "The Grapes of Wrath" but in "The Long Valley" , The White Quail", and "In Dubious Battle". He didn't try to discover the political background but the labour under social diseases through his works, and his naturalistic novel aimed at the exposure of social injustice. Under the foundation of humanism and life, he had brought his wrath upon lost human dignity and fallen human nature. So it is not too much to say that the following is a specific and defined human figure of his view. He said muscles and mild aching to grow, to work, to create, multiplied a million times. The last clean definite function of man - muscles aching to work, mind aching to create beyond the single need - this is man. - For man, unlike any other thing organic or inorganic in the universe, grows beyond his work, walks up the stairs of his accomplishments. So it was that intensive and positive, idealism began to appear in his work. He was a writer who embraced human consummation above all and asserted that a writer who did not passionately believe in the perfectibility of man had no dedication nor any membership in literature . Accordingly the readers must be ever on the watch, ready at once to lay hold of his metaphors, however euphemistic , to realize to his thought, however crude. In the light of this if they fail to translate his philosophy into words or action, it might be hard to extract true meaning from his works in which they would feel both exaggerative and miserable. The best way of understanding his works will be giving an account of the human lives that exemplified hostility, bitterness and contempt toward the middle classes and antagonism toward religion. The blind conservatism feared the growing American dreams and awareness on the part of the outcast. In every part of the country, driven further and further, growing if frightfulness everyday, were manmade regimes for man's destruction. The further they were driven, the closer they stayed, that is to say, a group organism, figuring their family tie and companionship with other migrants. Since there was a domesticity, their parents' authority was sufficient in the demonstration of tenderness and made them submissive even in the whirling situation. Also there was Steinbeck's integrate and passionate intention to enlarge his own Utopia, and embody a democratic society in order.

With the sufficient approach to Hemingway's vision of himself and the world, we can figure out his real attitude toward liter-ature. When we admit the fact that the essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer, there would be much more illusions to perceive in Santiago's outlook on nature according to Hemingway's code. That is also his morality illuminating his own honor and dignity in his literary works.

This study suggests how to select the words for Cultural English in the college course as an extensive learning of high school class. For the purpose of effective study, words are to be selectedf form 15.000 of the basic English vocabulary for both junior and senior high schooi gh, considering actural college curriculum (the provided hours and technical terms) Most vocabulary should be mixed up appropriately according to their important credit for junior and senior high school so that students might not lose an interest in English. An excessive reduction or burdensome quentaty of learning process of high school should be avoided. The aime of this study is designed to propose a new basic word list for Cultural College English. Taking a general view of college textbook, it is found that most of vocabulary in college textbook is distributed in the heighest frequency range compared with other's basic vocabulary lists as the Word List I show : Therefore, it is desiralbe to reexamine and recontrol The Cultural College Textbook so as to be based on a scientific selection.
