Background and Objectives:Subjects and Method:Both normal mucosa and tumor tissue samples were secured from 17 cases to a total of 34 samples to be examined with a methylation- specific PCR (LOH) using a panel of 41 microsatellite markers on 8 chromosomes. Results:The patern of methylation changes between the paired normal mucosa and tumor site was variable. Of the total of 206 cases examined for the methylation status of non-CpG island, 34 cases showed hy-pomethylation changes, 26 cases hypermethylation changes, and 31 cases no methylation changes. Regions containting CpG is-lands had 8 cases showing hypomethylation changes, 17 cases hypermethylation changes, and 31 cases of no methylation ch-downstream 0.7 kbp, p16 upstream 1.0 kbp, and hMLH1 upstream 1.0 kbp showed hypomethylation, whereas BGLAP upstream 4.5 kbp, Runx3 upstream 1.7 kbp, KIA downstream 0.4 kbp showed hypermethylation. However, the rest of the genes were not changed. In 29 tumor foci, a LOH was found most frequently on the chromosomes 3p, 8p, 9p, and 13q. Interestingly, alth-ough other previous reports have not reported the detection of 8p chromosomal loss in head and neck cancer, this study frequ-ently detected 8p chromosomal loss. Chromosomal loss yielded an overall mean value of 4.79± 2.2 per tumor focus. A special relationship could not be drawn based on thand hMLH1, there were diferences betwen the hypomethylation. Genetic instability was raised when hypomethylation incre-ased. Conclusion:This study showed that the head and neck cancer and its progresion generally need the proper level of chro-mosomal losses to accomplish cancer progression or development. Methylation pattern and LOH might be important rules and target event in head and neck cancer. In the future, experiments to find the point of genetic modification will help the way to pre-vent the cancer. (Korean J Otolaryngol 2007 ;50 :145-56)

지방자치단체의 지역 기록화 사업 현황과 지속가능성 검토

This study analyzes the system and operational status of regional documentation programs conducted by local governments and aims to propose considerations for the sustainability of regional documentation programs. With the government’s balanced national development policy, the city or culture departments of local governments promoted regional documentation programs as part of their urban and cultural policies. Each local government enacted landscape ordinances and the ordinances concerning the establishment and operation of urban historical and cultural archives and promoted urban regeneration projects. Based on this, local governments performed urban landscape documentation, urban historical and cultural archives, and urban regeneration project documentation. Consequently, this study compared and analyzed ordinance enactment, budget, acquisition, management, and utilization of records for a total of 55 cases. The study has found that legislation is an essential factor in the sustainability of local governments’ regional documentation programs. In addition, it suggested that regional documentation programs should evaluate the performance of programs, ensure residents’ participation, and create digital archives to secure the budget continuously. 서비스 디자인 방법론을 활용한 성범죄 예방 개선 서비스 가이드 제시

최근 우리나라는 도시의 삶에 있어 시민안전을 위협하는 사고와 위험이 끊임없이 발생하고 있는 가운데, 새로운 정부 출현과 함께 주요 정책목표로서 안전사회구현을 전면에 내세우고 있다. 현재까지 국내에서는 성범죄 예방에 대한 다양한 서비스와 연구가 이루어져 왔으나 이와 관련한 연구들은 거시적인 차원에서의 안전 환경을 포괄적으로 다룬 연구가 대부분이며 경찰청, 여성 가족부, 행정자치부 등을 중심으로 생활밀착형 안전관리 지원이 강화되고 있지만, 시민의 안전의식수준 증가에 따른 요구에 부응하기에는 어려운 실정이다. 시민생활의 안전을 제고하기 위해서는 기존의 방식보다 더 체계적이고 혁신적인 연구개발이 필요하며 하드웨어중심의 안전 환경 조성은 물론 인간중심(Human Centered)의 접근이 중심이 되어 문제현상 속에서 사용자 참여를 통해 문제해결을 하고 디자인적 사고인 서비스디자인 방법론을 통해 안전에 관한 시민들의 니즈(needs)와 생활환경을 고려한 성범죄예방 서비스디자인 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존 디자인을 활용한 성범죄 연구 사례들의 디자인 접근 방법들을 분석 하였고, 분석을 통해 서비스디자인 프로세스 개발을 진행하였다. 실제적인 연구를 위해 이해관계자 인터뷰, 섀도잉, 사용자 시나리오, 블루 프린트 구성 등 다양한 서비스 디자인 방법론을 통해 서비스안을 개발하고 성범죄 예방 개선 방향을 제시하였다. 성범죄 예방에 대해 다양한 서비스디자인의 프로세스 및 방법론을 적용한 본 연구는 성범죄예방에 관련한 연구관계자 및 성범죄예방 정책 추진 연구진들에게 좋은 가이드라인으로서 활용이 기대된다. Recently, the nation has established policies for realizing a safety society with new government during accidents which public safety threats and accident are constant occurrence. So far, Various researches and services about sexual assault prevention have been studied in nation but most studies are grappled with the big picture including safety environment. Despite The National Police Agency, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and Ministry of Public Administration and Security support of safety management is getting strengthened, It is hard for responding to a demand of Increasing Citizen’s safety awareness level. We need to develop more innovative and organized research than previous way for raising Citizen’s safe life. So we analyzed research cases about crime using design process, proposed the applicable service developing service design for Sexual assault prevention and discussed the process with related department for a reflection of Government’s policy by Service design methodology which human centered approach. Even though, The Service design approach is inadequate about Sexual assault prevention at the present, We expect that this research will be a good guideline for policymakers and research institute official as a methodology research and utilizing service design process for preventing sexual assault.
