The purpose of this study was to find out the marital quality of Korean-American pastors and their spouses. For this purpose, three hypotheses was established. The first problem was to determine the relationship between marital satisfaction scores as measured by the Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale (KMSS) and scores on five selected predictor variables as measured by Lee`s Marital Inventory(LMI) for Korean-American pastors. The selected predictors included communication, expression of affection, empathy, sexual satisfaction, and doing thing together. The second problem was to determine the relationship between marital satisfaction scores as measured by KMSS and scores on the five predictors as measured by LMI for the wives of pastors. The third problem was to determine if there would be significant difference in marital satisfaction scores between Korean-American pastors and their wives. The regression analyses revealed that expression of affection and doing things tougher were significant predictors of the marital satisfaction of Korean-American pastors. For the wives of pastors, expression of affection was the only predictor of their marital satisfaction. An independent samples t-test revealed that there was no significant gender difference in marital satisfaction at the significance level of .05. Additional findings showed that except for sexual satisfaction, the other four predictors were significantly correlated with the marital satisfaction of both Korean-American pastors and their wives.

Attentive listening is known as a foundational counseling skill. Thus almost every counseling model adopts the skill of active or attentive listening as an essential part of their counseling practice. For some professional helpers, attentive listening is more than a skill or technique; it is the counselor`s attitude toward a client as a fellow human being. Take, Carl Rogers of person-centered approach, for instance. Rogers asserts that the empathic understanding communicated through attentive listening is sufficient to bring about therapeutic change on the part of a client. With an awareness of attentive listening as an important counseling skill, the pastoral counselor also uses it frequently in his or her practice. Though there are many secular explanations of why listening is essential part of counseling, it is necessary to make efforts to provide a biblical reflection on the skill of attentive listening. In this vein, this article attempts to provide understandings of attentive listening from a Christian Psychology perspective. Christian psychology is an disciplinary attempt to augment and expand the ministry of Christian soul care. The discipline of Christian psychology puts an emphasis on the rediscovery and utilization of Christian counseling principles found in the Bible as well as in the history of soul care throughout the church history. This article calls attention to a God who is listening and Jesus who demonstrated his love for humanity through his incarnation. To be a competent counselor, the pastoral counselor is to learn to be a good listener by imitating the listening and practicing an incarnational presence for his or her client.

본 연구는 해안에 분포한 갑곶돈 일대 문화재 지역의 경관 특성을 살펴보기 위한 연구로 고문헌, 고지도, 근대의 사진자료를 분석하고 항공사진 촬영을 통해 현재 갑곶돈 일대의 경관을 살펴본 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 갑곶돈은 강화도를 진입하는 지리적 위치로 인해 강화도의 상징적 또는 실제적 관문요소로써의 역사적 가치를 지니고 있으며, 일대의 역사문화자원 또한 통과교통으로서의 장치 및 군사시설 등이 분포하였다. 둘째, 문헌 및 도상자료에 나타나는 갑곶돈 일대는 고려시대부터 군사시설 및 마을이 형성되어왔으며, 조선시대 강화외성의 축성 이후 갑곶돈의 진해루를 중심으로 마을이 확장되는 양상을 보이고 있었다. 셋째, 현재 갑곶돈 일대는 강화대교 진입에 따라 연속되는 해안경관이 조망되나 강화대교 인근의 경관저해요소는 개선사항으로 제시되었다. This purpose of this study was to identify the landscape characteristics of cultural heritage area in Gapgot fortification by performing text analysis of related literature and antique maps. And accumulate modern photograph to investigate the landscapeof modern. As a additionally analysis, was examined landscape of Gapgot fortification area using aerial photograph. The results were as follows. First, Gapgot fortification has the historical value as symbolic and practical gateway to Ganghwa island caused by geographical position. And historical culture resources were located in Gapgot fortification area such as through traffic,military facilities. Secondly, According to literature and antique maps, Gapgot fortification area was village and military facilities from Goryeo dynasty. The village and military facilities was expanded with Jinhae pavilion since construct Ganhwa castle. Thirdly, In modern Gapgot fortification area appear consecutive coastal landscape when entry Ganghwa bridge. But, inhibiting elements of landscape should be remedied.9)

Interactive installation art (IIA) is an art form which places people in real or virtual space or environment. It is a certain type of art form which expresses human transformation of consciousness by using sensory functions such as seeing, hearing and feeling. It is strongly comprehensive art form involving many kinds of subjects. This research is aimed to make an example of a new type of ‘Installation Landscape design’ which can show the genre of expression types to graft a landscape art fusion attempts. Base on previous research work, Attempt to refine the theory with the actual installation work was carried out with the installation of 10 artists of different topics under the major theme of Come join us“. The designated site of installation was entry area of the Dream Park Chrysanthemum festival, which take place in Baekseokdong western Incheon Dream Park in metropolitan landfill site. Each installation work was performed in order to best describe it’s theme with consideration of It’s surrounding environment. As a result of the study, the representation of the hybrid landscape through mixing with the floral formative art, landscape design and architectural design was able to get a way to share. This thesis makes some beneficially experimental discovery, and we hope that it can provides some hint to related artist.
