이 연구는 1980년 이후 2014년까지 지난 35년 동안 수행된 농어촌학교에 관한 국내 연구동향을 체계적으로 분석하여 향후 연구의 방향과 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 해당 기간 동안에 수행된 박사학위논문과 한국연구재단 등재(후보)지에 게재된 논문 114편을 분석하였다. 주요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농어촌학교에 대한 연구 가운데 학교급과 관련해서는 초등학교 또는 2가지 이상의 학교급을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 둘째, 연구내용 면에서 볼 때, 농어촌학교 연구는 제도·정책 및 학생에 대한 연구가 대부분이었고, 제도·정책의 세부 주제로는 소규모학교 그리고 학생에 관한 세부 주제로는 교육활동에 집중되었다. 셋째, 연구방법은 설문지와 통계자료를 활용한 경험적 연구가 서술적 연구보다 빈번히 수행되었으며, 경험적 연구는 양적연구에 집중된 경향이 강하고, 자료분석방법에 있어서는 단일 변량분석이 주로 사용되었다. The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends of the rural area schools (RAS) that had been investigated for the past 35 years (1980~2014), and to provide directions and implications for the further research. In order to achieve this aim, the study analyzed a total of 114 doctorial dissertations and articles published in the major journals on RAS. Major results from the study are as follows. First, elementary schools and schools combined with more than two school levels were most frequently discussed among RAS. Second, from the perspective of the contents of the research, system/policy and students of RAS were searched as the main themes. The major topic of system/policy area was small-sized schools, and the major topic of student area was educational activities. Lastly, the study found that empirical researches were more frequently conducted than qualitative researches, and the empirical researches were done with surveys or statistical data and were mostly done by uni-variate analysis.

이 연구의 목적은 중학교 자유학기제를 지원하는 제주대 『자청비 꿈 이룸단』진로탐색 프로그램의 효과를 분석하고 시사점을 도출하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 제주도내 중학교 1, 2학년이며, 연구방법으로는 사전 사후조사 분석과 만족도 조사 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 진로탐색 프로그램에 참여한 중학생은 참여하지 않은 학생들에 비해 진로준비행동을 향상시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 본 진로탐색 프로그램에 참여한 중학생은 참여하지 않은 학생들에 비해 전체적으로 진로결정자기효능감을 증가시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 본 진로탐색 프로그램에 대한 전체 만족도는 평균 3.86으로 높게 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 자유학기제 정착을 위한 중학교와 대학 연계 진로탐색 프로그램의 필요성 등을 제안하였다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of `Jacheongbi Dream Dan` (J) career exploration program supported by Jeju National University and provide its suggestions. The object of the study was 42 middle school students, and methodologies of experiment and satisfaction were used to analyze the data. The main results are as follows: First, it was more effective to improve the career preparation behavior of participating students into J program than that of non-participating students. Second, it was more effective to improve the career decision-making self-efficacy of participating students into J program than that of non-participating students. Third, the total satisfaction of J program was shown high by 3.86. Finally, some suggestions including the linkage programs between middles and university were provided for settling down the free semester successfully.
