        도시농업 및 원예치료 프로그램용 쑥 종묘의 유통 기술개발

        도시농업 및 원예치료 프로그램용 쑥 종묘 유통기술을 개발하기 위해 용도별 쑥의 소요량, 종묘 유형별 수확기 까지 소요일 및 수확량, 용기 크기와 쑥의 수확량, 유통조건에 따른 쑥 종묘의 품질을 조사하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 쑥 종묘의 패키지 개발 및 쑥 종묘의 유통 방법을 유형화 하였다. 쑥의 용도별 소요량은 전, 쑥떡 및 쑥버무리기는 200g을 기준으로 할 때 각각 10, 15 및 40g이, 실크 스카프 1개를 염색하는 데는 40g이 소요되는 것으로 나타났다. 초장 10cm를 기준으로 종묘 유형별 쑥의 수확기까지의 소요일은 실생이 39일, 삽목묘 32일, 1년생 근경이 25일 이었으며, 1차 수확시 수확량은 각각 0.3, 2.1 및 13.2g이었다. 쑥의 근경 및 묘를 예취한 것을 식재하면 27일 이내에 수확이 가능하였다. 용기 종류 및 크기를 달리하여 식재한 결과 1차 수확시 포트(H 8.5 × R 10cm)에서는 13.3g, W 12.5×L 18.0×H 5.5cm 크기의 플라스틱 용기에서는 35.6g, W 12.5 × L 20.0 × H 10.0cm 용기에서는 39.4g을 수확할 수 있었다. 종묘는 저온에서 3일 동안 유통을 시켜도 품질의 변화가 없었다. 쑥 묘와 함께 용기, 원예상토, 배수층, 식물영양제, 재배관리 설명서, 이용설명서 등을 패키지로 한 것을 이용하여 1개월 이내에 수확이 가능하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 고려할 때 쑥 묘의 유통은 묘를 용기에 식재하여 유통하는 방법, 묘를 용기에 식재 후 재배한 다음 예취를 하고 저온저장을 하면서 유통시키는 방법, 쑥의 근경이나 묘 등과 이용에 필요한 것들을 패키지화하여 유통시키는 방법이 도시농업 및 원예치료용으로 활용성이 높을 것으로 기대되었다. This study was conducted to develop the marketing technique of mugwort (Artemisia princeps var. orientalis) seedlings for the use of the urban agriculture and the horticultural therapy. We have examined into the necessary amount of mugwort by the use, the days needed for the harvest and the yield by the seedling types, the yield by the container size, and the seedling quality by the marketing conditions. Based on the overall results, We have also developed the package of mugwort seedlings, and have embodied the marketing technique of mugwort seedlings. On the base of 200g mugwort, making a fried food, a cake made of rice flour and artemisia paste, and the steamed rice cake mixed with mugwort were needed for 10, 15 and 40g mugwort, and a scarf was 40g. Based on 10cm plant height, the necessary time to harvest by the classified seedlings were followed that seedling (39 days), rooted cutting (32 days) and one year old rhizome (25 days). In the first harvest of mugwort, those yield per plant were 0.3, 2.1 and 13.2g. When mugwort rhizome and its seedlings were planted after mowing, mugwort could be harvested within 27 days. At the first harvest, the yield of mugwort planted in the pot with H 8.5 × R 10cm were 13.3g, that in the plastic containers with W 12.5 × L 18.0 × H 5.5cm were 35.6g, and that in the bowl with W 12.5 × L 20.0 × H 10.0cm were 39.4g. The decrease in the seedling quality were not shown even in the marketing of mugwort seedlings at the cold temperature for 3 days. Mugwort seedlings with the package such as the containers, the horticultural substrates, the draining outlet, the plant nutrition agent, the description of cultural management could be harvested within 1 month.

        미시교통시뮬레이션을 이용한 3지 교차로 보호-비보호 좌회전 도입 타당성 분석에 관한 연구

        PURPOSES : This study evaluated the feasibility of implementing protected-permissive left-turn (PPLT) signals at three-leg signalized intersections. METHODS: A three-leg signalized intersection with permissive left-turn was first selected. A VISSIM simulation model was constructed using data collected from the test site. The VISSIM network was calibrated by adjusting related parameter values in order to minimize the difference between the simulated and surveyed critical gap. The calibrated network was validated by the number of waiting left-turning vehicles per cycle. Finally, the mobility and safety measures were extracted from simulation runs in which permissive, protected left turns as well as PPLTs were realized based on diverse traffic volume scenarios. RESULTS : The mobility-related measures of effectiveness (MOEs) of the case with PPLT outperformed the other two left-turn treatment scenarios. In particular, the average waiting time per cycle for the left-turn vehicles in the case with PPLT was reduced by 30 s. The safetyrelated MOEs of the case with PPLT were somewhat higher than those in the case with protected left-turns and much higher than those in the case with permissive left-turns. CONCLUSIONS : Based on the mobility- and safety-related MOEs generated from the VISSIM simulation runs, the use of PPLT seems to be feasible at three-leg signalized intersections where the left-turn is permissive and a pedestrian signal exists at the conflicting approach. However, in order to use the PPLT in earnest, it is necessary to revise the road traffic act, traffic signs, and related manuals.

        공동체 정원 리더양성 프로그램을 통한 영구임대주택 주민의 능동적 삶의 질 향상에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to apply practically community garden program which elevating quality of life through making, using, and keeping of it, that was helped rental housing residents improve life of oneself and environment of village independently. So far, a rental housing for a low-income group was a good way in solving lack of housing, reforming circumstance of house, but it gave rise to problems like breaking neighborship, and deprivation. Community garden program was composed to 16 session divided 1st and 2nd step program during March 29~July 26, 2005. 1st step was responsible for cultivating one's ability through observation plant culture, understanding, rule of the life, 2nd step was growing practical ability helped residents participate in community garden, effective management garden, development profitable business. This program got elevation of participant's self-esteem and life desire.

        공동체 정원 활성화를 위한 교육프로그램

        Contemporary society gave birth to pollution environment, family collapse, estrangement human-being, and serious disequilibrium. Sustainability and community are core issue of developmental 21st developmental society. As the alternative plan came up needs of the times, community garden is able to make practical application of elevating life quality for residents as well as get various beneficial effect. Community garden was attempted to settlement, failed it in Korea, while made good use from old times in Germany, U.K., and U.S.A. Participation and conversation intrapopulation are a key factor to use, maintain, and preserve. Consequently, This study was performed to develop leader training program that took charge of primary role in activating community garden. Organization which deduce outcome and motivate, as the core competence of leadership, was composed of horticultural information and actual experience to horticulture.

        A Survey Study on Professional Women’s Perception toward Cosmetic Surgery: 4 Year Comparison

        Background The popular demand for cosmetic surgery is increasing explosively, but little is known about how perceptions of cosmetic surgery among women are related to demographics or psychological factors. A survey was conducted to compare changes in perception about cosmetic surgery among professional women in 2010 and 2014. Methods A questionnaire-based survey was performed at a general hospital by female nurses in 2010 and 2014. Participants included 350 women in 2010 and 470 women in 2014; 323 individuals in 2010 and 449 individuals in 2014 completed the survey (overall response rates of 92.3% and 95.5%, respectively). Participants identified their demographic data, which included age, educational level, marital status, monthly income, and previous experience with cosmetic surgery. The survey included standardized measures for appearance interest, body image satisfaction, self-esteem, and perceptions toward cosmetic surgery (delineated in terms of actual considerations). Results Compared to 2010, actual considerations for cosmetic surgery were higher in 2014, specifically for women in their 20s, a monthly income between 2 to 3 million won, and those with high scores of self-esteem, appearance interest, and body image satisfaction. Conclusions In this study, in order for professional women to undergo appropriate cosmetic surgery and be satisfied with the results, it is necessary to obtain a deeper understanding about the factors that influence the perceptions of cosmetic surgery.

        랫드에서 azoxymethane으로 유도된 대장 전암병변에 대한 피티산의 방어 효과

        Phytic acid (PA) (Inositol hexaphosphate, IP6) is a naturally occurring polyphosphorylated carbohydrate that is present in substantial amounts in almost all plants and mammalian cells. Recently PA has received much attention for its role in anticancer activity. In the present study, the preventive effects of PA on colon carcinogenesis were investigated. Six-week old Fisher 344 male rats were fed a AIN-93G purified diet and PA (0.5% or 2% PA in water) for 8 weeks. The animals received two (1st and 2nd week) injections of azoxymethane (AOM, 15 mg/kg b.w.) to induce colonic aberrant crypt foci (ACF). After sacrifice, the total numbers of aberrant crypts (AC) and ACF in colonic mucosa were examined after staining with methylene blue. Blood and serum were analyzed with a blood cell differential counter and an automatic serum analyzer. AOM induced the total numbers of 142.3 ± 22.3 ACF/colon and 336.6 ± 55.1 AC/colon. PA at the doses of 0.5 and 2% decreased the numbers of ACF and AC/colon in a dosedependent manner. The numbers of ACF/colon and AC/colon by PA at the dose of 0.5% were 124.4 ± 28.5 and 302.7 ± 67.3, respectively. PA at the dose of 2% significantly decreased the ACF and AC numbers to 109 ± 18.1 and 254.8 ± 50.6, respectively (p < 0.01). Especially, 2% PA significantly reduced the number of large ACF ( ≥ 4 AC/ ACF) from 26.8 ± 6.2 ACF/colon to 15 ± 6.7 ACF/colon (p < 0.01). Although some parameters in blood counts and serum chemistry were changed compared with the control, no specific toxicity was found. These findings suggest that phytic acid can be a chemopreventive agent for colon carcinogenesis resulting from inhibition of the development of ACF in the F344 rat.
