The Revelation of John was written in the end of the first century A.D and in the background of Asia Minor. It describes the Emperor Worship and the persecution of Rome with various Symbols. This actuality is shown in the dualistic contrast of the God and his people, and of the Emperor of Rome and his followers. The book tells the woes in vision and communicates the immediate End of world through the revelation of God. The anthropological Symbol has a great role among the various Symbols to explain the Vision in the Revelation of John. John used not only human figures directly, but also the life and action and wide symbol of human being in oder to interpret theological meaning of the detail of events in history. The anthropological Symbol stead at culmination of the Vision in the Revelation and is used the last Vision after the End of world. It links to horizontal dimension also to vertical dimension of the people of God in comprehension as the liturgical Community. The Seer emphasizes the existence and the coming of Jesus Christ, the suffered people in the persecution to give the comfort and hope. With the anthropological symbol the liturgical elements is a way of that is reveled the existence of Jesus Christ. He exists in the people of God through the Liturgy. 요한 묵시록은 기원후 1세기 말의 소아시아를 배경으로 기록된 책으로 다양한 상징을 통해 로마의 황제숭배 의식과 그로 인한 박해를 묘사한다. 묵시문학적인 시각에서 이러한 현실은 하느님과 그분의 백성 그리고 로마의 황제와 그에 동조하는 세상 사람들의 이원론적인 대조로 드러난다. 이와 함께 재앙을 환시로 전하면서 하느님의 계시를 통해 머지않아 종말이 도래할 것을 알린다. 여러 상징들 중에서 요한 묵시록의 환시를 설명하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 것은 인간 상징이다. 직접적으로 인간과 관련된 표상만이 아니라 인간의 삶과 행위 그리고 인간과관련된 폭넓은 상징을 사용하면서 역사 안에서 일어나는 구체적인 사건을 신학적으로 해설한다. 인간 상징은 요한 묵시록의 환시 안에서 정점에 서 있으며 종말 이후 전해지는 마지막 환시에서도 사용된다. 인간 상징은 수평적인 차원만이 아니라 수직적인 차원에서도 하느님 백성을 전례 공동체로 이해하는 것에서 잘 드러난다. 저자는 박해 받는 신앙인들에게 위로와 희망을 전하기 위해 예수 그리스도의 현존과 다시 오심을 강조한다. 인간 상징과 결합된 전례적인 요소는 예수 그리스도의 현존을 드러내는 방식이다. 예수 그리스도는 지금 전례를 통해 하느님의 백성 안에 현존한다.

묵시 6,9-11의 “수가 찰 때까지”는 요한 묵시록 외에 로마 11,25-26과 유다교의 묵시문학에서도 발견된다(1에녹 47,1-4; 4에즈 4,35-37; 2바룩 23,4-5). 문학적으로 가장 가까운 형태는 4에즈 4,35-37에서 찾을 수 있으며 두 본문은 모두 순교자들의 ‘얼마나 더’라는 질문에 대한 대답으로 ‘수가 찰 때까지’ 기다리라는 말씀을 전한다. 약속된 수가 완성될 때에 비로소 하느님의 정의는 실현되고 구원이 이루어질 것이다. 다른 본문들 역시 종말론적인 배경에서 하느님의 구원과 정의가 실현되는 때를 ‘수의 완성’으로 표현한다. ‘수’에 대한 생각은 구약성경에서 하느님 창조의 위대함을 나타내기 위한 방식 중에 하나이다. 하느님은 창조 때부터 모든 것을 헤아리고, 재고, 다는 것을 통해 마련하셨고 그 완성은 종말에 이루어질 것이다(이사 40,12; 지혜 11,20 참조). 수가 완성되는 것은 세상을 위한 하느님의 구원과 관련된 것으로 ‘예정된’ 어떤 수를 지시하는 것이 아니라, 구원 계획이 완성되는 때를 의미한다. 수의 완성을 말하는 본문들은 또한 하느님 구원의 보편성을 언급한다. 바오로는 구원에 앞서 예수 그리스도에 대한 복음이 선포되어야 하고 믿음을 고백하는 모든 이들은 구원된다는 것을 강조한다. “수가 찰 때까지”는 종말론적인 구원의 특징을 요약하는 표현이다. The expression of “Until the number was filled” in Rev 6,11 is founded also in Rom 11,25-26 and the Jewish apocalyptic literature(1 Enoch 47,1-4; 4 Ezra 4,35-37; 2 Baruch 23,4-5). Most similar literary form with the Revelation of John is 4 Ezra 4,35-37, and two texts report that God answers to wait ‘until the number was filled’ about the question with ‘how long’ of martyrs. At the time of completion is fulfilled the righteousness and salvation of God. The other texts also say this fulfill-time with the completion of the number. The consider about the number is one way for the expression of the God’s creation in the Old Testament. God has disposed all thins by measure and number and weight, and its will be fulfilled at the end time(cf. Isa 40,12; Wis 11,20). That the number is completed, is related to the salvation of God for the world. And this indicates not a ‘predestined’ number, but the fulfill-time of design of God’s salvation. The texts that represent the completion of number mention also universality of salvation of God. St. Paul emphasizes that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should be proclaimed and the everyone, that confess the believe in Christ, will be saved. “Until the number was filled” is an expression that summarizes the character of God’s salvation.

Extramammary Paget disease (EMPD) is a rare adenocarcinoma that usually occurs in areas of the body that are rich in apocrine sweat glands. Great depth of tumor invasion is a well-known risk factor for worse prognosis. Paget cells usually are limited to the epidermis, whereas invasive EMPD, which infiltrates the dermis, is relatively rare. It is even rarer for the tumor to spread be- yond the dermis. Only 3.1% of patients with EMPD of the penis and scrotum have exhibited infil- tration of the subcutaneous fat layer. We report a case of a 62-year-old male with EMPD that in- vaded the subcutaneous fat layer. He presented with a several-year history of a slowly expanding erythematous plaque with the hypopigmented area on the left penoscrotum. One month before presentation, the patient had undergone punch biopsy at another hospital and diagnosed with EMPD. He had no personal history of urogenital cancers. The patient was treated with Mohs micrographic surgery, and negative margins were achieved after four stages. The histopathologic findings revealed Paget cells scattered throughout the epidermis. At the hypopigmented area, Paget cells extended to the subcutaneous fat layer with lymphovascular invasion. There was no evidence of recurrence at seven months postoperatively. Herein, we describe a case of hypopig- mented EMPD that infiltrated the subcutaneous layer, which rarely has been reported in Korea.

An Excimer Laser-Induced Eruptive Sebaceous Hyperplasia

Sebaceous hyperplasia (SH) is a benign proliferation of the sebaceous glands. Ultraviolet radiation is known to be the cofactor for the pathogenesis of SH. Frequently reported ad- verse events of 308-nm excimer laser are erythema, burning or pain, and itching sensation. However, the role of excimer laser as an aetiological factor of SH is rarely reported in the literature. A 59-year-old female presented with several elevated, umbilicated papules on the face. Papular eruption appeared abruptly after 11 weeks of treatment for vitiligo which includes 308-nm excimer laser therapy. The distribution of lesion was associated with the treated area. Total cumulative dose was 3,300 mJ/cm2 over 16 sessions. Histopathologic find- ings showed enlarged sebaceous glands composed of numerous lobules around a centrally located, widened sebaceous duct. Chronic sun exposure clinically causes SH was proved in the previous animal studies. Thus, we introduce a rare case of eruptive SH in the patient treated with 308-nm excimer laser.
