The characteristics of servo-multipliers and its accuracies are analyzed. From the analysis a low cost high accuracy four quadrant servo-multiplier with first derivative output feedback is built. The multiplier servomechanism has a second order system response with a damping ratio of 0.8 and computing bandwidth of 4 cycles per second, and its tracking accuracy at low speed of 0.5 volt per second is 0.9 per cent of maximum output voltage and static accuracy is better than 0.6 per cent. Method of testing this multiplier and the results are also described. The test on the characteristics of the multiplier shows that the results agree with theoretical values satisfactorily, and justifies the use of the servo-multiplier for slow type analog computers.

本 연구에서는 컴퓨터 시스템의 性能을 測定하기 위하여 合成모델 技法을 選擇하였다. 一般的인 흐름도표에 의하여 作成된 合成프로그램에서는 作成環境에 따라서 變更하여 使用할 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 여기에서 作業稼動量 (word load)으로서 CPU時間과 入出力 數를 變數(variable)로서 適用하였으며 合成프로그램은 새로운 作業環境을 考慮하여 kernel 部分과 I/O 관계를 基礎로 하여 作成되었다. This paper represents an analysis of workload on work environment and its operating method of the synthetic model on measuring techniques for influx of computer systems. Furthermore, 8 types of major measuring techniques are timing, instruction mixed, kernel, analytic model, benchmark, synthetic model, simulation and performance monitoring. Out of 8 types of measuring techniques, a synthetic model was chosen. It is applied to two variables, CPU time and number of I/O activities in workload characteristics. The synthetic program based on kernel sector and I/O activities may be modified for its environment.
Out-of-Kilter Algorithm을 이용한 수송문제 분석에 관한 연구

Generally, transportation network problems may be solved by a linear programming technique using large scale computers. The computer package called the OPTIMA, which is installed in the CDC computer, has been recognized as a useful technique for such large scale network model and used for the planning of the transportation problem by the Office of Monopoly. However, this has some difficulties because of longer CPU time and the need of large computer systems. The main objective of this paper is to compare the output of the OPTIMA with that of the Out-of-Kilter Algorithm with respect to their performance and effectiveness for the solution of the cigarettes transportation problem. And it was proved that the new Out-of-Kilter Algorithm was more useful and economical than the conventional method.
