본 연구는 인지-행동적 금연교육과 아로마 테라피를 이용한 금연보조제 병행 금연교육이 금연효과에 영향을 미치고 있는지 알아보고자 연구를 시행하였다. 연구대상자의 전체 금연율을 살펴보면, 5일 금연학교 수료 때까지는 68.4%의 금연율을 보였지만 일주일 후에는 38.2%로 절반가까이 금연율이 감소하였으며, 60일에는 7.9%, 90일부터 150일까지는 2.6%, 180일에는 1.3%로 나타났다. 아로마 금연보조제를 함께 사용하지 않은 흡연학생에 비해 아로마 금연보조제를 사용한 흡연학생이 금연할 확률은 14일경과 후의 경우 7.43배, 21일경과 후의 경우 5.16배, 28일경과 후의 경우 12.41배로 가장 높았고 이는 통계적으로 유의하였다. 이러한 결과는 5일 금연전문교육 이후 2개월까지는 유의하였으나 그 이후로는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. This study conducted the effects of smoking cessation with the supplement by using the cognitive-behavioral smoking cessation education and aroma. As to the overall smoking rate of the subjects, they showed the smoking cessation rate of 68.4% but it dropped to 38.2% closely by half. Later, as it was getting decrease, it showed 7.9% at the 60th day, 20.6% between 90 and 150 days, and 1.3% at the 180th day. The smoking cessation rate of the smoking students who used the aroma supplement for smoking cessation showed higher figure by 7.43 times after 14days, 5.16times after 21days, and 12.41 times after 28 days than the smoking students without the aroma supplement for smoking cessation, which was statistically significant. The result was significant up to two month after a five day smoking cessation professional training, but since then it was not statistically significant.

We studies inhibitation effect of IgE release in the human B cell line(U266B1) and in the serum and spleen cell of mouse that has been immunized by antigen in order to find antiallergic effect of Fructus Xanthii (FX). We have some findings as below. 1. IgE release in serum was inhibited dose dependently in case of administering FX orally in the mouse immunized. 2. IgE release in serum was inhibited dose dependently in case of injecting FX into abdomen in the mouse immunized. 3. When we take LPS+IL-4 way in the mouse spleen cell, IgE release was less than LPS way. 4. When we take LPS+IL-4 way in the human B cell line (U266B1), IgE release was less than LPS way.
